With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
Usually Charlie wouldn't ask for help from people, but this was something she needed help with and she was on the search for one of her siblings who shared a class with her. She had woken up a little late after passing out doing her homework, and the subject she fell face first into was still not done. So she felt like she was going to get into trouble with the Potions professor if she didn't get this thing done. Charlie was working so hard to not getting into trouble this school term, and she was doing good so far. Yes, so far.
Once she had entered the Great Hall, she spotted a sibling she needed and had hurried over to the Gryffindor clinging onto her bag and put an arm around her sister. "Please tell me you did your Potions homework...."[/b][/color] she whispered as she kept her arm around her shoulder while taking a seat. "I didn't get to do it. I literally fell asleep doing it last night." she said in a rush.
This was the second time she had a close call like this and poor Clarissa had deal with it both times.

Potions was a tough class and Clary knew as no other how tough it could be. Clary though managed to make the paper on time and she was ready for the potions class and the professor teaching it. Sure it wasn't exactly easy but she wanted this, she wanted to go and brew something magical. The girl was enjoying her breakfast with a smile when she watched her sister join her at the table. Clary loved Charlie and they were like twins which was amazing. Ever since they were little they were the closest because they were the same age and understood each other.
Clary even helped her with her pink hair. "Hey Charlie, what's up with your homework?" she asked and offered some toast as she did so. Clary didn't mind helping her sister out but she was curious what the problem even could be. The paper wasn't easy sure but it wasn't rocket science either, all the answers were in the books after all. "Show me what you got." she said and held her hand out for her sister's paper. Clary had often become her last hope when it came to homework lately.
"It's not too hard but you got to know where to look when it comes to finding out the ingredients and things." she said and took a sip of her juice. "Join me for breakfast?"
If Charlie sounded like she was out of breath, she was, and her hair was a mess because she thought she was extremely late for classes. But thankfully it was breakfast time, and she had time to finish this paper before her Potions class. Professor Tyrell wasn’t one to mess around with, having heard the stories of who her family is. The female had noticed Parker Tyrell’s ring (the very ring most of the Tyrell’s had), and knew they were a serious family. Charlie knew damn well not to cross any of them, even if she found some of them pretty annoying.
Charlie let out a breath as she looked at her sister, and nodded as she reached for her sisters juice to take a sip. Much better. ”I don’t want to fail Potions but goddamn, I’m starting to hate this subject so much. Let alone, the Professor.” she said as she reached into her bag, looking at the Potions homework she had half written and signed. ”I got lost midway through. You know, I actually fell asleep face first into the book. That never happened to be. What’s wrong with me?”
She grabbed the toast, eating it fast and moved her sisters plate closer to her. Enter stress eating.

Honestly Clary didn't know why her sister had issues with potions besides the obvious. Charlie was quite smart and lately she had been out of it like something broke in her brain. Of course Clary imagined many reasons but maybe it was because she had a girlfriend to think about? She didn't really know but this paper needed to be done so she was going to help her sister. She looked it over and grabbed her glasses from her bag, putting them on.
"I can do this for you." she said and smiled a bit as she started writing for her sister. "They are quite the odd family. Did you notice only a few of them have a family ring and some don't? You think it's a blood thing? I heard some of them were like.. bastards. Not even orphans but bastard children." she said and spoke in a hushed tone as she wrote.
"I rather be an orphan." she added and hummed. "Well you do have a girlfriend? Maybe you got distracted?" she suggested and blushed a bit. Maybe if her boyfriend was in school she'd be the same but he wasn't so there was no reason for her to think about it. "I gave the Young's my gift for Agravain for Christmas before they go see the cabin. I wish mum and dad let me go but they think it's dangerous."
Maybe it was because she had a girlfriend, maybe her girlfriend was a distraction. Not that Charlie would say that to her face because she didn’t want to make her girlfriend feel guilty. They had started dating this school year, and Charlie was growing quite fond of the girl and she had no idea if it was love or something else. Was it too soon to feel that? She had no idea, and she wasn’t going to bring that up to her sister because last thing Charlie needed was to break her brain again. Yep, Charlie was broken. That’s her story and she’s sticking to it.
”You’re the best Clary.” she said as she watched her sister get to work. Her eyes looking toward the professor’s table for a moment before at her sister. She didn’t want to get caught by the damn professor. ”I’ve heard that the ones that do have the rings have a future in...whatever their family business is about.” she said and eyed one of the many Tyrell’s for a moment.
”I asked Parker Tyrell once about it. She has one, and told me that it’s reserved for the children that were conceived in a marriage with her father. To me, I think it’s stupid. Feels like favoritism.” she stated.

Clarissa wasn't very familiar with the Tyrell's. She was sure they had their own family things like the Jones kids do but their exclusiveness.. it wasn't something that Clary was very fond of. The thought was kind of saddening but then again she heard a lot of families have these people who they rather not call family, maybe they got separated like that? The girl didn't know and when Charlie brought it up she rose an eyebrow.
"Well maybe they just don't believe all kids are meant into family affairs." she said and frowned. "We're all adopted but these kids... in a pureblooded family. The rules are different." she said with a shrug and cocked head to the side for a moment. "Why do you even ask about them? Are you friends with one? They seem dangerous.." she said softly.
"I mean Parker is sweet but Declan and Avery? Not so much." she said and frowned. "Not to mention the professor, god she terrifies me."

Charlie had leaned against the table as she remembered why the Tyrell’s are the way they are, and she found it...weird. Even though she wasn’t one to judge, she didn’t like the sound of that family being dangerous, and she was going to stay away from them until further notice. There was no way she would be buddy buddy with any of them, including Parker. Sure, Parker and Olivia seemed to be best of friends but Charlie didn’t want any part in it. It was just worried her that her sister might get hurt sometimes because of her friendship with Parker Tyrell. The girl may not be a bully, but she didn’t trust it at all. Everyone had hidden personality traits.
”I talk to Parker every now and then but that’s because Ollie is like her best friend. And you know me, I like to make sure the Tyrell’s aren’t being evil to her. Parker might be sweet and all, I just don’t want to trust her with our sister. Last thing we all want is for her to get hurt.” she had said and looked toward the Hufflepuff table at Parker Tyrell.
”Why do you think I’m scared to attend class with a paper not finished? Professor Tyrell might murder me with her looks alone.”

As Clary wrote down the paper for her sister she made sure to match the handwriting. The little girl was going to be a pro criminal one day with her forgeries and ability to break into places without getting noticed. Not to mention she would make sure her looks would never have be able to be identified. The best criminal mastermind out there maybe. The thought alone was quite funny really. As Charlie mentioned Parker Tyrell, Clary remembered Avery being in her classes sometimes.
"Well Ollie is sweet to literally every human soul this school has and then we haven't even mentioned the ghosts and creatures." she said and looked up from the paper to look at Charlie before following her gaze for a moment. This was going to be fun. "Did you tell Ollie about your worries? Because she will not listen and we both know that." she said and turned back to the paper, writing once more.
"She can't be that bad though right?" she asked and frowned when Charlie brought up the professor. "Oh definitely, honestly you should've finished it long ago." she said and bit her lip. "Okay this should at least get you to pass the class, it also is in the exact same handwriting so no one will know a thing." she said and handed the paper back.
”No, I haven’t really mentioned all this to Ollie because I don’t want to hurt her feelings. If she trusts Parker Tyrell, then I guess we have to trust her word for it.” she said softly, her eyes going toward the Hufflepuff table for a second, wondering where their sister could be at, but she didn’t want to question it now. Maybe she was with that cute boy of hers, and Charlie had no problem with the Avery’s. They’re not bad people, right? Ah well. Charlie wasn’t going to judge her sister, because she trusted her.
There was a low huff from the Hufflepuff when her sister had mentioned that she should’ve gotten the paper done sooner rather than doing it last minute. But Charlie was distracted by some stuff. ”Yeah, yeah. I know. Thank you for this…” she grumbled once her sister had given her the paper, and her eyes scanned over the writing with a smile. ”Have I mentioned that you’re the best?” she asked, and nodded as she helped herself to some toast.
