With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

"Alright students, take your seats, please, " She remarked, gesturing to the chairs as she finished writing 'Accio' on the board, after which she promptly brushed the dust from her hands, " Afternoon, class. No time for dillydallying, " She remarked as she picked up her wand, " Accio, " The professor casted, catching the feather in her opposite hand.
"Today, we'll be working on the summoning charm: Accio, " She introduced the lesson, " For the accio charm, the more you practice and keep a clear mind, the farther distances you can summon objects. It should be noted that you can not use this charm on living beings, only inanimate objects. However, you can summon items on living things... Though I would strongly discourage it.. Can any venture a guess why you wouldn't summon an object on someone with a summoning charm?" The professor inquired.

Accio, a spell Aggy had been using for years now, was what they were learning in charms today. Trying her very best not to pull a face at the simplicity of it, Aggy instead focused her attention on what Professor Malfoy had asked instead.
Hand raised in the air, Aggy answered her, a hint of sarcasm in her voice as per usual. "If some bonafide genius decides to summon a person via things they're holding or wearing, then... surprise, surprise, they're probably gonna end up injuring the person because they be making them travel close to the speed of light."
Ari was doing her best with trying to go back to normal with her going to class. Spending long nights studying because she couldn't dare fail anything. And also being one of the first in class, but it wasn't going well. Her teachers were appalled by her bitchtude. But Ari knew that she couldn't let people down.
So she decided that for her first couple classes back, she would sit in the back. Even though she knew that she couldn't resist to answer questions. But she just hoped none of her fellow classmates would be rude. Which meant for Charms she would try to keep her cool.
The fourth year had listened to Professor Malfoy, as she commanded them all to sit down. Which she had already done and she watched as the witch performed the Summoning Charm. Then proceeding to ask why you wouldn't dare perform a summoning charm on a human, and the girl who answered. Arielle had agreed with because she knew it would get you in trouble if things were to go South.
Well, he’d be damned; they were going to learn how to retrieve things! Wonderful! That spell would definitely come in handy from day one, since Mark always forgot a spare quill or his notebook. He would very much like to have the option to stay put, flick his wand and then let magic do all the work with retrieving whatever he was needing. Sadly, the charm did not work on people. He did like the idea of summoning anyone he wanted from wherever.
He sat down beside a window resting his chin against his palm as he glanced outside at the falling snow. His elbow was placed on top of the empty parchment, and the quill that was held in his left hand got twirled around between his long fingers. He let the other students do the talking. All he waited to do was the practical part of the course. Mark did not care about what Clearwater had to say about the spell. The Gryffindor seemed to like hearing herself talk, and he therefore ignored her completely. The boy did not want to give her the satisfaction of his attention. Falling snow deserved it more.
Damien liked Charms and found the subjects very interesting that were discussed. The Hufflepuff had been watching Professor Malfoy talk about what they would be learning about the Summoning Charm. Which he was excited about because he wanted to make things easier, then he could just cast for his sketchbook.
The Hufflepuff had sat back in his seat, and listened as she asked them what the Summoning Charm was. And he listened as Agnes brought it up. Which he knew it wouldn't be much use. So he sat back and just waited for them begin casting the spell.

Practically bouncing into the Charms classroom, Vi surveyed the room full of seats, trying to decide where the best place to sit was. There were plenty of options but Vi wanted to sit beside someone who wouldn't be annoyed at her constant fidgeting and playing with things on her desk. Naturally, Aggy and Mark were out of the picture, and Arielle, her dormmate, had probably had enough of her by now... which left Damien, a quiet fifth year Hufflepuff.
Immediately, Vi beamed at him, heading straight towards the desk and sliding in next to him. "Hiya! You're looking super duper fab today. Look at those curls! They're to die for. Like lil' springy... springs!" she whispered excitedly before pulling out her quill and parchment as if she were actually going to take notes today. Like most lessons, she'd probably end up scribbling on her piece of paper instead, which meant she'd have to ask Flora with her sweetest smile for notes later come exam time.
Sitting back as the class commenced, Vi listened to Professor Malfoy as she spoke, and Aggy as she launched into some fiddly diddly explanation of accio. Raising her hand, Vi asked chirpily, "'Scuse me, Professor Malfoy, but what are we going to accio today? Feathers, like you, or something else?"
Damien was keeping to himself as he sat back in his desk but was interrupted by Viola Rosaline. That caused him to look up at her when she greeted him and caused him to jump somewhat and he turned. "Oh hi Viola." he said with a small smile. The Hufflepuff then looked at his robe and touched his hair. "Thank you even if it's just my robe, and my hairs being called springs is a first." he chuckled with a sigh.
Even if he was a little eery to talk due to him not being sure if he people were able to be genuine nice. And he then went back to paying attention.
That morning Jedrek was ready for classes, he was up, dressed, stomach was nice and full from breakfast and now it was time to start the day. Jedrek had walked into the class room of Charms and took an empty seat by himself. He didn't see any of his best friends yet so either they were on their way or they were skipping. He honestly didn't mind as long as he passed his classes with ease. He may be considered a nerd but he honestly could careless when it comes down to it.
He had forgotten his Hufflepuff tie on purpose and his shirt was not buttoned all the way up to his neck. In fact, he felt it rather uncomfortable to wear his uniform like that. And he had a lot of opinion about putting uniforms on youngsters to begin with – not to mention throwing them into different houses as if you could so easily categorize a person – jeez! Hopefully, the professor would not notice his lack of attire as he slid into the class and dropped down onto the empty seat next to his housemate Jedrek.
“Hi!” He said to the one year younger boy.
Charms was actually one of his favourite subjects, and Willow did not want to screw it up. Nevertheless, he would never submit to the norms of a conservative school like Hogwarts. This was also why he had been home-schooled by his muggle mother until he received a letter from a magical place she could not refuse. After all, she was a wiccan. Willow began finding his things and made sure to take the sugar quill instead of the regular one.
“How are you?” He turned his attention back to Jedrek.
Jedrek was listening to not only the conversations going on around him but also trying to see if the Professor asked a question or called on him or something of the sort, he was taken from the world around him when he felt someone plop down beside him, he turned to look to see Willow, a boy a year ahead of him and in Hufflepuff as well. Jedrek saw his lack of uniform and Jedrek was not one to judge at all. "Hi Will" he greeted back. He saw as Willow zoned out before coming back to planet earth and asking him how he was doing. "I'm alright, kind of hoping for something adventures to happen in this class but otherwise I'm good. How are you today?" Jed asked curiously.
Willow was amused by Jedrek’s reply, because what on earth would give him adventures in a boring class like charms? If he wanted something like that, he should just skip class and go exploring. Willow would gladly do it with him, although as he looked at his housemate he did not suggest what he was thinking, instead he sent their professor a quick glance to see if she had spotted the two of them talking. At least they were rather quiet about it. It was not like they disturbed the class like some other students there.
“I am good!” He went with the safe answer before leaning closer to the boy as they were going to discuss something far more interest and personal than the usual “how are you” greeting. “What kind of adventure were you thinking about? I mean, you are in school. The choice of adventures that could happen is minimal.” Willow shrugged. “All the fun is happening outside of class anyway.”
Jedrek loved school, he truly did love school but there were times when he just wanted to let loose and come out of his comfort zone at times and sometimes it happened at the wrong point in time like right now when he was in class. "Well in all honesty I have absolutely no idea but since I did get noticed when I walked in there is no point in leaving and besides my siblings would rat me out if they found out and I honestly don't want to listen to my dad's mouth either" it was true, whenever he did something wrong his father got really mad. "Believe me I know the fun is happening out there, it's freedom" Jed sighed.
