With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?

Warm gusts of air were visible in front of Matheus' face. His fingers were frozen to the tips, red and a little numb. Winter seemed to inch closer everyday, turning the temperature colder and people's faces harsher. The turn of the seasons happened every year, but Matheus seemed to be caught by surprise every year. He had decided that homework should be done outside- but this decision had been made in the middle of the day. Now that the land had begun to cool, Matheus was ready to pack up and go back inside. The only thing that stopped him was that there was a little more to be done. If Matheus could just get it over and done with, then going back inside and warming himself up wouldn't be an issue. All he could hope was that he'd have a more than friendly partner to help him. He just needed to finish this estúpido Charms homework before he could.
With a sigh of annoyance, Matheus pulled out his wand once more (not the wand he wanted to be using, by the way), attempting to do the leviosa charm non-verbally. They'd be practicing in class over the last few weeks, but it was definitely a challenge and as the frigid breeze brushed over him once more, he swore. Why had he decided to come outside again? Oh, that's right. So he wouldn't get distracted by the lovely people walking past him at the time and speaking of which...
"Ryker!" he hollered, as he caught sight of a flash of tumbling raven waves. A charming grin immediately crossed his face as he met her eyes, fingers raising to push some of his curls out of his eyes. "Come help me do this charm? I'll, uh... pay you back. Somehow." Whilst he didn't outright say how he intended to, the way his eyes shamelessly raked over her fine form spoke volumes.

Ryker was bored out of her skull. She had been going out for a run in the morning before class, she went to class, she went to see her girlfriend before she had other classes to attend as well and now she was seated on the lawns, a coin floating a few inches from the palm of her hand, her thumb making it spin. She knew she should probably bug Elijah but ever since he laid eyes on that bartender she felt like his brain was left behind there as well.
Ryker got up and slipped the coin in her pocket, okay bugging Elijah it is. The girl headed to where she thought he could be when she heard someone call out her name. The voice was familiar and it was not her brother. She turned on her five inch heels and eyed the guy who called out.
"Fuck me..." she mumbled before Matheus reached her. She would have ridden him like a pony if she wasn't dating Morgan, she couldn't even remember if she did a few years ago but none of it mattered. "You need help with a charm? Are you starting to lose skills Matty?" she teased with a sly grin.

'... me' was what Matheus managed to catch as he approached Ryker, reaching the girl with an easy grin. "Well... I don't know what I'm doing to you, but I'm sure whatever it is, it'll be fun," Matheus said, feigning innocence even though his mind was going dirty, dirty places. There's a lot of things he wouldn't mind doing to her, especially if she was wearing those high heels of hers.
Ryker's implication that he was losing his charm was enough to make Matheus laugh, faking a yawn as an excuse to stretch and flex those sexy muscles of his, letting his shirt ride up and give her a flash of his abs as well. Yeah, he looked good, and he knew it too. "You tell me," he said, throwing her a wink. "That's only low-level stuff as well. I can turn the charm and turn you on a lot more if you want."
Then they were talking about homework again and even though he was the one to bring it up in the first place, he let out a groan. "The non-verbal leviosa stuff," he told her, shaking his head. "I can do it fine out loud, but keeping quiet is hard enough, let alone doing silent magic."

Matheus was one of those sexy guys that would break your heart and you'd let him. Ryker would've let him if she could. The guy had his charms, he had definitely the body with it and the moment he approached and spoke his voice was also right in the perfect place. Whoever ended up being his baby mama was one lucky bitch. Ryker cocked her head as she looked at him, a smile on her own lips.
"I am sure you dream a lot about doing fun things to me but I doubt that is what you need me for now is it?" she had the same confidence as he did, she knew people wanted her as much as he knew people wanted him. Attraction could be a tricky thing and Ryker recently watched her best friend suffer for it. The poor guy got quite the rough treatment from Morgan.
Matheus then started to flex his muscles and Ryker licked her lips before pursing them. "Mmm well.." she surely couldn't disagree. She smiled instead of giving him a verbal response since none of them according to Ryker or Ollie for that matter seemed to come out the right way if she tried.
Ryker took the coin out of her pocket and flipped it before letting it levitate over the palm of her hand. "Like this?" She asked and slipped it back into her pocket. "Or with your wand? You know it's often just about the right mindset and how you handle that piece of wood." well that could totally be taken the wrong way.

"I don't think you want to know what my dreams are about, querida." A filthy, shameless grin slid across Matheus lips as his mind so pleasantly drifted off into his dreams last night. Ah, yes, a bed full of his Gryffindor year mates. Now wasn't that a sight to behold? "Maybe you can join me in bed tonight, perhaps we could have good dreams together. Maybe share something else as well." Definitely not an innocent 'something else' either.
Ryker's tongue peeking out and sweeping against her lips was definitely hot, matching the rest of her, and he blatantly stared for a minute. "Well," he repeated, eyes twinkling as he took a step towards her. Not invading her personal space, but within arms reach as he raised and flexed his biceps this time, letting them twitch. Man, he worked hard on his body, it felt great to be appreciated by somebody other than himself. "Maybe you'd like a feel?"
A moment later, Ryker produced the coin she was always playing with, flipping and levitating it. "Show off," he said, letting out a chuckle. It was hot, though, seeing a girl with such confidence and skill. Much better than seeing a complete nervous wreck in front of him. His smile turned dirty once more as Ryker brought up his 'wand.' He wasn't going to pass up the opportunity to talk about that, now was he? "Not to worry, Ryker, I'm very experienced at handling my wood. A lot of people have complimented me on my finger dexterity, too. I have excellent control over both of those things. Would you like me to show you?"

Yep everything definitely came out wrong. Sure she wasn't going to deny that Mat was a pretty guy but she loved Morgan. She was with Morgan. How could he not know? They were dating for two whole years soon to be three and Ryker wasn't going to risk losing Morgan. The girl frowned when he started flexing again feeling a bit uneasy now. It was all fun and sarcasm earlier but obviously no one caught it.
"Easy there.." she stopped him taking a small step back after he took a step forward. Everything Ryker said or did was washed down the toilet of his brain cells. She wasn't flirting with him she wasn't interested in him but yet it seemed like it was caught on that way and she was not really down for that road of life.
"Alright I do not need to know about your wand skills if it isn't about that piece of wood magic comes out from." She was sure even that wouldn't make sense to him. "No penis, you are not getting any sex here." There maybe that would do the trick. "I am very happy with my girlfriend so if you need help with school I am your girl.. otherwise I heard some rumors about a girl who just broke up with her boyfriend." Ryker crossed her arms over her chest and eyed Matheus.
"The choice is yours my friend." Ryker could tease a bit, be sarcastic and fabulous but she was damn loyal too.

It was like a switch had been flipped all of a sudden, and Ryker went from licking her lips (had he somehow misinterpreted that gesture?) and making suggestive comments to rejecting him. It was... almost amusing how quickly her tune had changed but Matheus shrugged. She was hot, yeah, but he wasn't a douchebag about to keep pushing. There were plenty other people out there.
"O... kay..." he said, blinking at her in confusion as she started a spiel about this girlfriend she apparently had. When had that happened? Had he missed that as well? Probably. He wasn't exactly interested in other people's relationships. They were boring as hell. "Well, hope you're happy with her... I didn't just come over here to flirt with you any way, so consider me on my best behaviour."
Ryker appeared to become pretty moody rather quickly, and Matheus laughed, holding up his hands. "Look, man. I'm not here to interfere with whatever you have going anyway. If I knew,"and if she'd told him earlier, "I wouldn't have tried to lay anything on. But it's no big deal, I'm not gonna get all sulky about it."

"I'm sorry I just tend to come off flirty when I don't mean to. Call it a curse of the sexy egyptian side." she said and tried to relax a bit. Honestly if she wasn't dating Morgan sure she would have happily given him a shot but she had Morgan and everyone knew what happened to Leo and his poor manhood. The brunette gave him a smile again and took a pin out of her hair, placing it on the palm of her hand.
"Alright so, you need to levitate yes?" she said and held the pin out. She wanted to help him, she truly did but the lack of sleep and lack of useful words where the word wand was easily confused with well.. not an actual wand slipped from her tongue easily. Ryker was trying her best not to be an idiot about it.
"Try your best on the pin.." she said and grinned a bit. She did adore the guy if only because his behavior was amusing her around nervous girls who'd faint. She was not really like them but she could understand why they would.
"Don't worry about it, I just sometimes feel like my charms are never off either. You know what I mean right?" she said and chuckled at the thought.

Matheus just nodded in response to Ryker's apology, before moving on and watching Ryker tug a pin out of her hair, the previously pinned back long, dark locks tumbling down onto her face. Then she placed the pin in her palm and Matheus shot her a curious look because what was she planning on doing? "Yeah, levitation to begin with. It's just the whole... non-verbal stuff. Like I said, not a quiet person..." She could ask all the people he'd taken to bed to confirm that, if she really wanted to. But he didn't bother to suggest that.
Try your best. Well, okay. With his eyes on the pin, not focusing on the gorgeous smile that donned Ryker's lips, he tried his damnedest to non-verbally charm the pin into levitating. "It didn't work," he muttered after a while, nodding at the pin. "Didn't budge."
It took a moment for Matheus to clue in that Ryker was not talking about the pin and the levitation charm, but his personal charms instead. Chuckling, Matheus dragged his fingers through his dark curls. "I dunno, man. I guess mine aren't either... the amount of times I've had angry partners or siblings come try to fight me when I wasn't actually flirting is wild."
