With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?

HISTORY
Summer of 2012 - Aiden has an explosive argument with his parents when he receives a letter from Hogwarts. He cannot believe because of their life choices (read: parents moving to England after the second wizarding war to take advantage of the estates going cheap with all the stupid Death Eaters imprisoned or dead) he has to attend the wrong wizarding school. His anger makes his magic explode every window in their manor. Summer of 2014 - Aiden attempts to ride one of his sister’s horses again. The high spirited, bastard Andalusian throws Aiden within minutes and he broke his collar bone. Though originally demanding that the horse’s life be terminated for its crime, Aiden eventually relents to Alana’s pleas for clemency. Summer of 2018 - Aiden finds out that Alana has become a vampire. For the first time in their history, Alana is secretive surrounding the circumstances and the pair have their first major fight. The pair do not talk for weeks until they begin to pack for Hogwarts and Alana asks that Aiden keep her condition private. The pair devise a plan to get through their last two years at Hogwarts without people finding out Alana is a vampire after laws barring werewolf students were introduced the year before.

Roleplay example:
A small jar of night cream, specially formulated with enough bubotuber pus to keep a lady’s face free from unsightly blemishes, was almost empty on Alana’s night stand. It was a recipe she had been using since she was a prepubescent girl at Hogwarts and it had been passed down through generations of Valentino women. Alana held the delicate jar up to the candle light - it was certainly beautiful as an antique unicorn hoof. Yet inside was almost empty and Alana sighed; she would have to prepare a new batch.
The silk of Alana’s royal purple night gown floated effortlessly as the young lady made her way through the large estate she’d taken refuge in. Once outside, the evening air was pleasant as a breeze swept past her. It blew her hair and gown at an ugly angle, across her face that required adjusting - why the cosmos had to joke at her expense was beyond Alana. Still, she would not be perturbed from completing tonight’s mini-mission and the door to the green house opened with a very quick alohamora.
Inside the air was thick, yet still; the various begnin magical plants were resting but if one listened closely there was movement towards the back - the more ‘dangerous’ plants stirred with her presence. It made the little witch’s lips curl into the start of a smile to think she might be considered prey; she understood their base need to seek and destroy. The deeper Alana slid into Skylar’s green house, the darker it became despite the sun only just leaving the western horizon. She was careful where she placed her bare feet with each step and mindful that no plant snared at her night gown or dress. Finally the small table of bubotuber plants were within Valentino’s reach and she made quick work of harvesting the pus. It wasn’t terribly much she required; just one squeeze from the healthiest (read: ugliest) plant into her crystal vial would do ... but the stench was something Alana could never get used to. The lips curled into a grimace now and she held her breath for the moment.
Within minutes of the harvest, Alana was back inside the mansion and headed toward the kitchen. Once there, she produced a small gathering of tools from a delicate drawstring purse she’d brought with her from her suite. No doubt her host Zabinski had the rest of the ingredients in copious amounts at her disposal in the well appointed kitchen - though Alana would argue it was a mere trifle compared to that of the Valentino estate. Quietly Alana began her work.
”Be gone - out of my sight - you little beasts!” Alana hissed as some snivelling house elves attempted to assist her. ”I will ship off your nose, grind it and then sprinkle it in your eyes,” she snarled again as the vampire became increasingly annoyed. ”Now ... dragon claw...” she began to gather her ingredients, but as one of the elves held up the claw triumphantly, Alana could have used her very own beautiful wand to pierce its brains through its eyes.
”SKYLAR!” Alana cursed the man with his disobedient dog bodies. ”I will kill these creatures if they don’t disappear right now,” her eyes were wide and fangs out - she wasn’t really speaking to her host but hoped it would be enough that the dirty things would disappear.
