With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Parker had been sitting on a bench outside with her homework in her lap but not even focusing because she was watching a certain Slytherin boy doing what he did best. Exist. It made her sick to her stomach every time she saw him hanging out with another girl, making her want to strangle the shit out of him and the girl alone. But instead, she had paid Mavican Jones for some services to get payback. Parker had asked Ozzy how to get the Ravenclaw's attention, and he did her just that favor. Sure, the Tyrell siblings had strong dislike toward each other but when Parker told her brother of her plan, he approved and helped. She knew Ozzy hated Oscar for many reasons.
Her eyes had stayed on him the entire time they were both in the same place, not leaving him and was pretty much giving the death glare the Tyrell's were known for. The female had set her jaw, her hand gripping onto the book in her lap as she watched him. Did he know she was there? Across from him? Maybe she needed to get Mavican Jones back, kiss her in front of this idiot of a guy.
Oscar had decided that he had to get out of the castle for a while, when all of the people around him were just annoying jerks and idiots. The Slytherin common room definitely did not have enough room to breathe sometimes. So he went outside into the courtyard where he sat on the backrest of a bench, leaning forward on his elbows and drew some doodles in a notebook he had brought for something to do. It was quite sad actually, that he was sitting out here when he should be inside with friends, but it just felt ... off somehow. And he wanted to be alone.
This feeling only intensified, when eventually he looked up from his notebook and saw the person did not want to see most of all right now. Why did she have to be here? Was she tormenting him on purpose? Hadn't she done enough damage already? She was definitely doing it on purpose. Why would she do that? What had he done to deserve this? "What do you want?" he called angrily across the courtyard. "You need help finding a place for yourself where you don't annoy everyone?" It made him so angry to just see her sitting there, his blood was already boiling.

Parker's expression didn't change when Oscar finally noticed her staring at him, and she just continued to do so when he called across to her. He sounded so angry, and it amused her in a way, which made her not look away for a bit. The only movements from her were the closing of the book calmly while her eyes didn't leave him. Maybe she was tormenting him on purpose but two were playing this game. She wasn't blind when she saw him with other girls, she knew he was trying to get under her skin, and he was succeeding even though she would not admit it at all.
After a few moments, Parker suddenly smirked, looking down to see what she was doing and putting her book in her bag. She just leaned back on her hands as she watched him, giving him one of her smirks. Oh, how amusing was this? If her siblings were around, they'd judge her and tell her to find someone else worthy of her attention.
"I'm just enjoying the fresh air." she said, her eyes not leaving him.
In his mind Oscar could see himself pick up the book Parker closed so carefully and tear it in two with his bare hands, the muggle way, and then throw it against her head as hard as he could. How much would it cost him to have her removed from the school maybe in an exchange program with Durmstrang or so? It was torture to keep having to see her when he couldn't have her and didn't want her anymore. But even more when she also had to open her mouth. He balled his hands to fists, his quill shaking ever so slightly. "Enjoy it while you can!" he shouted back. What a lame response. But he couldn't think of a better one now when he was so angry and hurt! He wanted to hit himself.
Parker raised an eyebrow at Oscar when he shouted back, making her slightly confused on what that meant. Was that a threat? Was he planning on poisoning her? Make her disappear? It'd be stupid if he thought he can get away with it with the army of Tyrell's there, and if his father has another dead kid on his hands, he'd surely make sure Oscar didn't live to make live's hell. She knew her father would happily put his head on a mount and hang it in the office at his home. She knew that very well, and if her sister heard the words that left his mouth that very moment, he was a dead boy walking.
"Is that a threat?" she called, smirking a bit. "Cause that would be pretty stupid and I know you're not that dumb to say something like that out loud for others to hear."
Oscar chewed on his tongue at the reply he got. Was it a threat? Well, if it kept her away and made him stop thinking about her, yes. If he had to bear the consequences for it? No. And he was sure the consequences would be nothing to laugh about. "How about you just shut up then? You didn't want us to be together so don't try to hang on now!" It was true, he was the one who had ended it, but it was because she thought that he wasn't good enough for her. He would've never ended it if she had just had enough backbone. "It doesn't suit you, that fake smile. Makes you even uglier than you already are!" Ok, maybe he didn't mean that, but he would take everything he had and throw it at her just to make her hurt the way he did.
Parker's smile disappeared when he had his little outburst, a frown suddenly appearing and her heart pounded in her chest. The anger she tried to hide so well, appearing and she actually started tearing up at Oscar's words. It was then she looked down at her lap, taking a few deep breathes and reached for the water bottle in her bag. The female untwisted the cap, and if he thought he won this little battle of the ex's, he had another thing coming. Cause she suddenly stood up, taking a sip of water before she had marched right over to him and threw some water right into his face.
"Go to hell!" she snapped and moved to head back to her bag. "And I never said I didn't want us to be together you asshole."
Oscar braced himself when Parker stood up. He had done it now. Angrily he followed her with his eyes as she approached. He would not run now and look like a coward. The Slytherin spluttered when he had water thrown into his face. He should've seen it coming but he definitely wouldn't stand for it. Parker turned her back to him, surely in triumph and Oscar drew his wand. "Well you sure aren't acting like it!" he shouted, swallowing the lump in his throat which was threatening to have him spill tears. He would not. Instead he was angry. Angry at Parker for doing this to him and making him suffer. The only thing on his mind now was his anger and frustration, consequences be damned. Despite his better judgement he cast a stinging jinx at Parker's retreating back.
Not in a million years Parker had believed someone would harm her, especially someone she had loved. Sure, she should have seen it coming with his temper and should have been prepared to duel him in the middle of the courtyards but she wasn't thinking he'd do it to her. When Parker had leaned down to pick up her bag so she can leave, she felt the stinging in her back and she had fallen to her knees while screaming at the top of her lungs. Tears suddenly started rolling down her cheeks as she felt the pain from the curse take effect.
For a moment she thought she was going to die right then and there but no. Instead she just cried as she buried her face in the grass. Why would he do this? Go this far?
Despite being the one casting the curse, Oscar flinched when Parker fell and started screaming like a banshee. He stood still for a moment in shock. He hadn't meant to hurt her that bad! He didn't know what he'd been thinking. "It was just a stinging jinx," he said to himself as he finally approached her. But he didn't know what to do. He had done this and he had meant it in that moment. How could he feel guilty now then? Oscar crouched down next to her and waited. His anger was slowly returning. She was only causing a scene with the sole purpose of making him feel guilty and making him out as the bad guy. He really wanted to call her out on it, but decided against it. Instead he chose to be the bigger person this time, so he got up and turned to leave.
Parker should have known he was going to get close to her to see what the hell was wrong with her, and she knew damn well she was being a bit dramatic due to the jinx. Even if it hurt in the second, she was also hurt by his words and her own frustrations in the moment. She had stopped for a moment as she realized he was close, and she was still in tears when she noticed he was walking away. "Shooting a jinx while I'm unarmed." she said through gritted teeth as she stood up slowly, wiping the dirt and eyed him.
