With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?

Ariella needed a break from work, what was she even thinking with this? She wasn't a teacher, she hated teaching. The woman let out a sigh as she agreed to meet her boyfriend in London rather than Scotland near Hogwarts. She needed to be away from there so she went to the leaky cauldron, her heart pounding a little in her chest. She hated apparating, she didn't know why it was always making her feel sick to her stomach and fear she would lose a limb or two.
She walked up to the bar and ondered a drink, taking a seat at a table in the far corner away from prying eyes and ears. This world had come to so many things but war was the biggest problem it seemed. The werewolves weren't respected or loved by a single being it seemed and she could only guess what happened to her baby brother Peter and his missing person's case.
She truly hoped Donovan may know something. Her drink was served and Ariella waved the waiter off not even giving him a single look. Ariella needed to see Donovan and try not to divulge herself into self loathing and many other feelings she didn't need to deal with.

Donovan wasn't one to abuse the powers of his job to focus on one case, but he would often find little details of the case not adding up. There's been a possible sighting of Peter Tyrell with some girl a week back and he needed to share this tiny detail to his girlfriend cause he knew deep down she worried about her missing brother. Hell, if it was one of his siblings, he'd be searching day and night, and the entire world for them. A simple camping trip turning into a crime scene. He can remember when he was called to the forest, finding blood and the fire pit still hot but no sighting of the boy.
The male had walked into the Leaky Cauldron, hands shoved into his pockets and he gave someone a glare as they attempted to move to chat up hi girlfriend in the corner. Damn drunks, and their need to get laid. He knew damn well his girl can handle herself but when the guy caught Donovan's look, he backed off and went back to his pub.
He gave the bartender a nod, knowing damn well the male knew his order before he moved toward the table, leaning down and kissed Ariella on the cheek. "Missed you." he said, smiling a bit. "How are you?"

This life wasn't her life. She felt like she was not doing the best she could. She felt like she should be with Donovan more, be with her father more but her father had this crazy idea of passing on her potions and poisons knowledge to the students, watch her siblings for him as well. Maybe it was a good thing seeing the trouble Ozzy got into.
She let out a happy sigh when she saw her man and feeling his lips on her cheek just made her smile. "Hey you.." her heart melted. "I missed you too.." more than she could ever say in words. All she did was wanting to be with him but her whole life had turned upside down and honestly she wasn't the most warm hearted person either.

Donovan wished he could spend more time with his girlfriend, and knew their jobs had gotten in the way of any type of date. A part of him wanted to quit, but he also wanted to keep this job, even though he had a lot of things to complain about. The werewolf laws were getting out of his hand, and he just kept his head down because the last thing he wanted to do was to complain to the wrong person and lose his job he worked so hard to getting. The male took his job seriously, and he had put away some bad guys who deserved it but with the werewolves in danger of getting in trouble was something he refused to even think about.
The male had glanced around as he took off his coat, tossing it next to him in the booth and folded his hands on the table with a small shrug. "Not really wanting to go back to work." he said and eyed her for a moment as one of the workers had brought him his drink, and he waved them off as a thank you. "I'm in need of a long break."

Donovan was like the light in Ariella's dark space. The little light that kept her mind from going to the darkest place without knowing if it could get out. The hero stopping her from becoming a villain. The dark haired woman chewed on her bottom lip as she turned her attention to Donovan. She could watch the tired eyes look at her like a lost child not wanting to go back home.
Ariella reached out for his hand, she wasn't really good at reassuring people but she tried so hard with Donovan. She really did. "It's getting worse there isn't it?" she asked softly, her usual sharp and icy tone completely gone from her voice. It was almost strange to hear herself not sounding like the bitch across the block.
"This werewolf business is messed up Don.." she told him softly. "The holidays are coming up and I refuse to stay in that castle. We could go somewhere?"

Sometimes Donovan wanted to up, and quit his job because of how demanding it was. There were nights where he'd wouldn't be able to get some sleep because of work, and he find himself nodding off at his desk when no one was around to disturb him. He wasn't going to lie to his girlfriend, he was always truthful whenever she asked about his work and what is going on in the office. What is going on in the outside world, and how he can try to change it. He wasn't in charge of changing the laws, in fact, he was one to make sure people followed the new laws. And he'd agree that the werewolf laws were making it impossible for them to come out.
They all had families.
Donovan just gave her a tired smile, tracing his thumb on the back of her hand. "It's horrible out there." he said and frowned. He was giving up on hope to finding Peter Tyrell alive during this. All he wanted was to bring that boy home to his family, where he belonged.
"I'm honestly getting tired of the new laws coming into play." he made a face and nodded. "You can always spend it at my place. I mean, there's some of your belongings already there from your last visit."

Ariella knew Donovan was a strong person who could totally win this fight if he put his heart and mind to it. She wished she had the strength he had in all of this but she could see the bags under his eyes. Ariella smiled at Donovan's touch of her own hand and looked at him. She was tired too, tired of searching, tired of picking her father up from the messes he made for himself.
The brunette squeezed Donovan's hand and smiled a bit. "The laws are getting rougher, even if Peter's alive.. he wouldn't even be safe." she said and sighed. "I have been making the potions for wolves to keep their mind in the right place.. I really hope that when he comes home that the potions will help him."
"I would love that actually." she said and got out of her own seat to sit in his lap. She could care less about what other people thought, she needed Donovan.

Donovan would never say no to his girlfriend even if he tried because in the end, she was going to get her way. This young girl had captured his heart long ago, and he knew he shouldn't acted on his feelings before. The age difference was something that he hated, and knew that there was a tiny chance of Ciar scoring the girl Donovan liked. He won this one, and his brother can go screw some random girl this week for all he cared. Donovan did not approve of his brother's lifestyle when it came to women. Guess the engagement falling out was still getting to the idiot.
The moment Ariella got up, Donovan moved to make room for her to sit cause he knew what she wanted and as soon as she was in his lap, he wrapped an arm around her waist with a tiny smile.
"I'll continue to look for your brother. If there's any chance, I will find him one way or another. I promise you that." he said as he rested his chin on her shoulder. "And we can do whatever you want during the holidays."

Many, many people would've stopped the search for her brother after a while being convinced that he must've died and his body being gone stopped to matter. Ariella couldn't think like that, she couldn't do it to her father who had been destroying himself with his new hobby that is drinking. The man was drunk most of the day, his new bitch of a wife wasn't happy about it but she didn't do shit to stop it either.
Truth be told without Ariella and Ozzy the man would've been dead. Even when he gave Ozzy a rough time she knew he loved him, he appreciated him. Ariella just got comfortable in Donovan's lap, not giving a damn who would see it and sighed a bit. "I'll give anything for some peace and quiet with you. You can take me anywhere and I'll go." she said and smiled a bit, a rare smile.
"I just wished this never happened to us you know? Ozzy is destroyed and so is my father. I still look over your sister and she seems to be doing better."

Donovan was worried about everyone around him, the job was hard, and it wasn’t letting him get much sleep these days. New things arise every day, and he had to make sure the laws were being followed by wizards and witches alike. Luckily for him, it was a day off and he wasn’t going to work on any of the cases until he went back to the office the next day. He deserved a tiny break, deserved some shut eye and maybe some loving with his girlfriend. The male worked hard for a living. He needed this break.
So Donovan just kept his arms around his girlfriend's waist, not caring that people could see it. He wasn’t much of a person for PDA, but he would totally do it to prove to the world that he was dating a Tyrell. The one Tyrell most would fear, and no, it’s not her father.
He had shut his eyes for a moment, kissing his shoulder. ”Thank you. Just don’t let her give you a hard time. I know that she can be a little stubborn when it comes to trusting people. Especially a family member of one of the guys that is tormenting her.”

Donovan was one of the sweetest people she had ever seen in her life and yet he chose to be with her over someone way nicer than she is. Ariella loved him though, there were not many people she loved and cared about and in times like these she was losing them faster and faster. Ariella smiled as she felt the kiss on her shoulder and listened to Donovan.
"I won't, trust me." she assured him and looked at her boyfriend. "She is a tough one for sure but I don't even think she knows that I am looking out for her." Ariella said with a small smile on her lips. She would look after the kid even when she didn't care much about her, she cared about Donovan and that was good enough for her.

Donovan would have to have a chat with his little sister about dropping the grudge against Oswald Tyrell because eventually they were going to be a family. He would also would love a long friendly chat with the boy in question cause if he hears one more word about him doing something to Casey, there will be hell to pay. He didn’t care if Ariella was his sister, but he wasn’t going to put up with that little shits attitude any longer. The male wanted to keep his sister safe, she was special and the heart of the family.
”I’ll talk to Casey some time to let go of the grudge against your brother. I might get murdered by her, but she needs to let it go and if he decides to be a little dickhead, I’ll happily scare him shitless if that’s okay with you.” he said and hummed as he kissed her shoulder once more.
There was a huge grin on his face and nodded. "I can't wait either. I already got your gift."
