With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?

HISTORY
2009 - Adrian was nervously waiting in his father’s study as his father read over his piano tutor’s notes. He remembers the almost proud look on his father’s face as he told Adrian that his marks were good enough to start learning his second instrument. They eventually agreed on learning the Harpsichord, which Adrian had assumed was just like playing the piano...
2010 - Befriending a muggle boy, and accidentally revealing his magic when he fell from a tree. Adrian was devastated when the boy ran away and he got punished by his father. This incident still has an effect on Adrian’s view of muggles.
2011 - Moving to England after spending his life in Germany. He adjusted fairly quickly but was quite embarrassed by his accent. His father was aware of the 'werewolf' problem but business had moved him to the UK. Adrian just wished to go home.
2012 - His first night at Hogwarts, where he met his roommates was a night of excitement and a certain kind of freedom. He could choose who he wanted to befriend, and what he wanted to do with his own time! This excitement was dulled the next day as he received a letter from his father, demanding to know why he was sorted into the 'weak' house.
2017 - The first time that Adrian met his mother’s parents, at his aunt’s funeral. They were quite interrogative about his life and he didn’t have a clue why until it was revealed that they hadn’t been in contact with his mother. He vehemently denied that his father would have stopped their owls, suggesting that his mother didn’t want anything to do with them.

Adrian ran his hand along the keys of the piano, pressing down on them softly as he refreshed himself with the weight that he’d need to play a piece. His tutor’s voice was ringing in his head as he played a simple E Major scale, and he sat up accordingly. It was a public piano, therefore it needed a little tuning and some love and care, but otherwise was quite fine. He could see the passengers racing from place to place and had found himself overwhelmed with all the rushing. So there he was, with all the time in the world, sitting down to play the piano. He was on the other side of the river from Diagon Alley but he wouldn’t be meeting his cousins for lunch until later that day.
He moved on from major scales to arpeggios, his fingers moving quickly from key to key as he did so. He ignored the curious looks, knowing that they were to be expected. He fiddled around a little longer, before finally deciding on a song, Chopin’s Minute Waltz. He launched into it, and although there was no smile on his face, there was a brightness to his eyes that betrayed how much he enjoyed playing the little piece. Playing Chopin was never an easy venture but he enjoyed how his fingers played across the piano keys.
