With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
Okay, someone must have said something to his sister, or else he wouldn't be heading to her damn office. Did someone finally open their big mouth? He knew his father would probably kick his ass if he knew what his son was doing, and maybe now his sister was going to deal with it in her own special way. When he had word that he was being summoned by the demon herself, he knew someone talked and he was going to find out who and make their lives hell on Earth. So when he walked into the classroom, he held his head high and looked around the damn place before talking a seat at one of the tables.
He waited for his sister, and if she didn't show within the five minutes he'd leave and come back later cause he knew her well enough she would find a way to get him there by force and he didn't want that. He knew she had people who worked under her, and he too had people who would do what he told them to do.
There was a cocky smirk on his face as he pulled an apple out of his robe and took a bite when he heard footsteps appear behind him.

And while you are sitting indoors waiting for the storm to pass I will be outside dancing in the rain
❧
Ariella was furious. Ozzy was taining her reputation, her name and therefor her authority which meant he was becoming a problem she did not need her father to solve. She could handle her little brother, he just needed to feel how angry she really was. Ariella was waiting for her brother near the door, he didn't even spot her which was maybe one of the few good things about teaching in the dungeons like a vampiric bat.
Ariella locked the door and as she approached him from behind her hand was wrapped around the back of her neck and before he could do anything about it, she shoved his face against the table in front of him, pressing his face against it hard.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING OZZY?" she shouted with a voice as sharp as an icey wind. She was going to show her little brother exactly how she deals with his behavior.
Ozzy wanted to get this done and over with, he had some unfinished business he needed to get back too before someone ruined it for him. When he heard the click of the lock behind him, the hair on his neck stood up and he knew he had somehow crossed many lines because before he knew it, his face was slammed into the table right hard, and he thought he'd black out at the moment of impact, but instead he tried to fight it but knew it wasn't worth fighting his sister. She was pissed, and he knew it and he was doomed.
His hands were flat on the table as he struggled and he tapped a hand on the desk so he can actually talk without kissing the table. He can already feel the pain in his face as he let out a tiny whine and he groaned. "Release!" he begged, and tried to find her hand to get her to release the death grip she had on him.
And while you are sitting indoors waiting for the storm to pass I will be outside dancing in the rain
❧
Ariella pulled him back in the chair and released his neck from her death grip. She was not going to report this to their father because the last thing she wanted was for her brother to be disowned but whatever was going on with him should not be released the way it is. Her cold eyes were glaring at him and Ariella held up a letter.
"Do you see this Ozzy? This is a letter from Casey's mother." She hissed and shook her head. "They had to contact her because apparently Casey was having issues staying fucking alive!" she smacked the table.
"What the hell is going on with you? Do you NEED father to hear about this? Are you trying this rebel attitude era out because quite frankly it does not suit you." Ariella's stone cold expression stayed the same and her voice was sharp enough to cut his face.
Oswald Tyrell sat at the stool, rubbing his neck and let his sister tear him a new one, and he knew he did something wrong. Yes, maybe he should have been more mature about approaching this subject, and the fact he was the only one that knew about the affair between his father and Casey's mother all those years ago. He had discovered the old letters during the summer holidays, and sure, he had bullied Casey long before he found out about it, he just went up a few levels to make her life hell. Was he about to show remorse for his actions? Maybe. Maybe not.
Ozzy looked at the letter for a moment before he looked at his sister with a sad expression and nodded his head. Last thing they needed was for their father showing up and dealing with this himself. He shifted a bit in his seat, looking at her and let out a sigh. "When I was cleaning out the attic in July, I found letters." he started as he looked around the classroom. "And you know Father's history of being...a womanizer. While he was married to Parker's and Peter's mother, he was sleeping with Mrs. Stevens. And I did the math, and there's a chance that she's another one of his bastards."
He moved a little bit and frowned a bit. "And I don't think Father knows. Kinda don't want it to be true. It'd be strange that you're dating our possible sister's brother."
And while you are sitting indoors waiting for the storm to pass I will be outside dancing in the rain

Their father's lifestyle is something no kid could really get used to. No child could make sense of it and to Ariella it was horrible of her father to put children through it. He didn't always think with his brain it seemed and it was quite a downer, she could see the suffering in Ozzy and Parker.
"Oz.." she sighed and sat down across from him, taking his hands in her own. If one sibling managed to soften her up it was Ozzy but only because Ozzy meant the whole world to her and the little brat knew it.
"With his lifestyle.. which I do not approve off by the way.." she started, looking her brother in the eyes. "He created a lot of bastards, we are watching more of them getting born every single day." she looked down now. God she hated the amount of bastards existing.
"If she were to be one, what would make her different from the other little shits running around?" she asked him.
"There is a good chance it isn't true, she has nothing that screams dad to me.." she assured him and sighed. "Don't ever tell her this, let her live her own life. They already are having a hard time and god knows what her father will do when he finds out about it."
Ariella took out her wand and summoned a potion from the shelves. "Here.. drink this for the bruises and the headache should go away too." Ariella eyed her brother's bruised face. "It's best that we keep this between us, truth or not the truth."
This news will likely destroy two families, and he didn't want that. He didn't want people to suffer because his father couldn't keep it in his pants around women. Truth be told, he would say he was protecting Casey from this family and he wanted to make sure she never discovered the secret cause who knows what the girls father might do. He had heard that she wasn't treated well by him already, and he knew of the divorce between the couple. Last thing he wanted was to destroy her life, destroy her happiness even though she was just another depressed soul.
"Last thing I want is to destroy two families lives. Bad enough her father already hates her for some stupid reason." he said softly as he looked at his sister and frowned. "And I don't want anyone else to...disappear." he admitted softly. He blamed himself for his brothers disappearance.
He picked up the potion and downed it, gagging at the taste and groaned. "Goddamn, I would have rather died than drinking that."
And while you are sitting indoors waiting for the storm to pass I will be outside dancing in the rain
❧
Ariella hated that she had to deal with these situations but even when her father either died or decided to retire, she will have to deal with this and Ozzy needed to man up if he were to be her right hand. She wouldn't even get him near the business if he couldn't handle situations properly.
The woman eyed him and frowned for a moment. "I'd suggest you stay away from her then. Ruining a person's life can go with either beating the fuck out of her or being a tattle tale." she sighed and shrugged.
"Leave it alone." she almost said it as a warning which it was sort of meant to be. She didn't need the trouble whatsoever. "Even Parker is terrified of you now." she added and sat down on the desk again.
"Yeah you weren't supposed to down the entire vial.. a sip would've done the trick." she chuckled a bit at the expression, priceless.
Now she warned him after he downed the vial, of course she'd do it on purpose to make him suffer. The male had sent her a glare when she told him a sip would have worked but instead he had taken the whole thing and he wasn't entire happy with the after taste. Sometimes he wondered if she enjoyed making his life hell because that's what siblings do to each other apparently, and he knew damn well Peter would have done the same to him. Make him look like an utter idiot. Make him fall for his tricks. Sometimes he wondered if Peter and Ariella were the same person but he knew that Peter had a bigger heart than her.
"So it was Parker who told on me..." it wasn't a question, and sure he was a little disappointed but perhaps she did the right thing. "Terrified of me? She's the one that smacks me upside the head every time she sees me. I'm terrified of her."

"Of course you are, do you tell yourself that whenever you spot Oscar?" she asked him and laughed a bit. Ozzy terrified of little Parker? Really? The girl was shaking in her shoes when she was down here and Ariella knew she inspired fear into her siblings but so did Ozzy. He was supposed to become her right hand man and he wouldn't be if he inspired hugs and kisses.
"Look just talk to her, I am not going to even involve myself with sibling drama. Besides I think she is still hung up on the douche that dumped her." she sighed and rolled her eyes.
"Lovely how he blames us for their breakup, last time I checked he is the one who was the coward and ran.."
Ozzy looked at his sister with a slight pout on his face before he smiled a little bit as he thought over the ex-boyfriend that broke up with Parker. "Sister, have you looked in the mirror lately? You're the one that scares most of the students here, including little Oscar. If he can't deal with us, Parker's better off without a dweeb." he snickered as he thought about the time he spotted the boy in the common room, and the fact Ozzy just smirked at him, giving him a wave. The male always taunted those who dared to mess around with his family.
Sure, he claims he doesn't care about them but he did. He made sure they were safe from a distance without a single one of them knowing. "And hell, if she wants a family. She's best to date another pure blood, and not some half-blood moron. Gotta keep this family pure."
