With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Dallas had received an owl from his sister being asked to come to Hogsmeade because she missed him. Dallas missed her too, he missed holding her and telling her he will protect her. The boy sighed as he sat on a bench looking out at the castle. The whole idea of not being able to see her is killing him inside.
As he waited for his sister he whistled pop goes the weasel while keeping his head down. The last thing he wanted was to get caught. Dallas sighed as he stared at the castle, he hated it. He hated getting kicked out of it.
Emotions had run high for the past several weeks and Morgan was still adjusting to life without her parents. Sometimes she'd write to to them - asking for some baked goods cause she missed her mothers cooking. Recently she had found herself writing a letter for her mother, but couldn't even send it cause she was gone. Instead she folded the letter, and had tucked it away, shaking her head before she wrote to her brother to meet her in Hogsmeade when it was break time. They had a spot - a secret spot where they can hangout and be themselves for the short time before she was to head back to the hell she was in.
Morgan had found herself heading toward the bench where she spotted her brother and slid on the bench next to him as soon as she arrived at the bench, her leg stretched out ahead and she put her head on his shoulder. "I missed you so much." she admitted and closed her eyes.

Dallas wanted to take care of his little sister and as soon as she came to the bench on their little spot he wrapped his arms around her in a hug. He missed her too and he hated that he wasn't there for her when she needed him to be. By now someone else had his bed in the dorm, his life erased from their minds.
"I miss you too monkey." he sighed as he held onto her. Morgan meant the world to him, his lips kissing the top of her head. Dallas wished he would've been there to defend his family but he wasn't even near.
"How is school? Your friends?" he asked her wanting to make sure she was having a good time either way.
Ever since her brother was attacked, Hogwarts hadn't been the same without him there. Sure, they got to write letters every other day to each other but it wasn't right. He deserved a life, deserved to be in school and not thrown out like some kind of animal. She was furious with the laws at that time, and wanted to get herself bitten just to be with him. She hated being separated from her brother but she had another brother she had to worry about up at the castle. There was no way in hell she'd leave him alone. She promised to look out for him after all.
"It blows. I just want to stop going and just..." she didn't want to finish that sentence. "I'm craving very strong alcohol right now." she made a face. It was something new. Since their parents death, Morgan had found herself drinking strong alcohol to try and forget the painful night.
"Apparently one of Ryker's friends has the hots for her. He walked in on us kissing and he got so awkward." she shared and snickered.

Dallas wished he didn't get kicked out, sure school could suck but that school was like a home away from home. The boy missed it, he missed his friends who probably forgot he existed by now and wished life hadn't screwed him over as royally as it did.
He hugged his sister closely and rested his head against her own. "Really? You have been drinking?" he couldn't blame her, he has been doing the same thing and it was awful but it worked, it kept the pain away.
"Just try not to get caught with it.. they have strong policies against that stuff monkey." he said and smiled weakly.
"Oh really? Someone has the hots for your girl and he is still breathing?"
Drinking numbed the pain she was in - numbed her thoughts and it relaxed her a bit. Her own girlfriend doesn't know about the drinking and now Dallas knew. He was the only one that would know. Sure, she knew that she can get into a lot of trouble but she was careful. She didn't want to get kicked out of Hogwarts cause Ry was there, and she had friends. Surprisingly. She had pushed some away - keeping them at arms length. She trusted her friends, but she didn't trust herself due to her own emotions. She couldn't lose control.
"I'm careful." she said softly as she leaned her head against his shoulder. "Yep. I'm just watching him for now. If he dares to make a move, I'll sick you on him." she chuckled softly and lifted her head to eyed her brother. "How are you?"

The sweet cries of teen drama. If Dallas was there he would be covered in teen drama but nope, he was here hiding like a coward. The thought of him being a coward made him only even more angry at the world for dooming him. He looked at Morgan with a small smile.
"Yeah I don't think that girl would hurt you though. The way you talk about her, i think the guy is delusional." he said with a small shrug and laughed at the next comment.
"Sick me on him hmmm? A little howling will surely make him quiver in fear." he said with a slight devilish grin.
Morgan didn't trust the guy since the tiny incident she refused to talk to her brother about. She didn't want him blowing up until she figured out what's going on herself. Last thing she needed was to lose her brother to prison or worse. So she kept that out of the whole ordeal of the guy liking her own girlfriend. She hated the drama, and she hated that she hadn't spoken to her girlfriend since the little drama that had happened. She kept her distance and people should respect that she didn't want to be cornered by people. Didn't want them to try to help her.
Morgan looked ahead for a moment before he asked about the new family and she rolled her eyes. "I told them to give me space. To leave me be. I mean I talk to Olivia once in a while but that's it. They're respecting my wishes to let me deal with my own crap myself. They're good support though. Even offered a shoulder to cry on but do you see me crying to someone I barely trust?"

Dallas hasn't been dating since he became a werewolf and he didn't mind the loneliness as much as he minded his sister not being near. He could deal with not having a girlfriend. He would feel horrid if he ever passed on this curse to another person... especially one close to his heart. Besides now he had to worry about the whole 'I don't care if you are a beast.' deal like he was some kind of disney character.
Dallas rose an eyebrow as she spoke and nodded slowly. He understood the idea of not wanting to talk about feelings, he never truly did himself either. "Well that is understandable." he said and frowned for a moment. "But you should not give that girl the cold shoulder too much, not that I am the one who should give relationship advice but if anyone deserves to suffer it is the guy." he told her with a slight growl.
"They're good kids.. I am sure they will take good care of you there."
Morgan raised an eyebrow at Dallas when he mentioned that she shouldn't give the girl a cold shoulder, and she made a face. For some reason he figured it out and she looked forward for a moment. What the hell happened? She closed her eyes for a moment, and nodded a bit as she chuckled. "You're good, brother. Very good. How did you know I was giving my girlfriend the cold shoulder? Are people talking about it where you are?" she asked as she sat forward on the bench and eyed someone nearby for a moment and sighed as they looked at the both of them before walking on.
Morgan stood up, and nodded for him to get up cause she felt like that guy had made her brother and last thing she needed was for him to get in trouble. "Let's walk. I think you've been spotted." she said and looked around for a quick moment. At least they had a few places.

"I know you monkey, that's what you do." he chuckled and eyed the suspicious guy. The boy slowly got up as well and sighed. Shit. This wasn't good. He should be friggin able to see his sister but the ministry and their little snitches were everywhere it seemed. Dallas sighed for a moment and shook his head before taking his sister's hand and walking away.
"Let's go." he said softly. He didn't need to get her into trouble either. They needed time together and not be disturbed.
"Nobody talks about your relationship here, I just know you tend to give people a cold shoulder when you think they hurt you." he said softly, kissing the side of her head.
"It's getting dangerous out here, I got a bad vibe." he said not sure if Morgan would be safe here.
"Next full moon please stay safe in your common room." he didn't need her out here during that time.
Morgan linked her arm with her brother's and walked with him, knowing damn well that there is danger lurking around every corner. She needed her brother safe, and knew she had to be safe too. For some reason she didn't trust many people in Hogwarts, knowing damn well people would talk and see Dallas near her and hell would break loose. She didn't need her brother to get in trouble, and she'd hurt the first person who dares to hurt him or even her baby brother. She'd do a lot to protect them - going far to killing a person to make sure they're safe.
"You don't need to worry about me, big brother. I'm always careful. As long as you're careful too. I don't need you getting killed or worse." she said and looked around as she walked. Family was everything to her. "I'll try to make things right with Ryker." she said softly, suddenly pissing the other girls company.

Dallas had his arm linked with his sister and held her close by his side. She was not meant to get into trouble by coming here and he would guide her safely to a sneak route back to the castle. The last thing he wanted was someone to sniff her out and make her their victim. Dallas was very protective over his sister.
Dallas looked at her and kissed the side of her head. "Monkey I will be fine but you need to be safe. I can't watch any of these asshole dogs hurt you." he told her with a frown. If she got hurt because of him he would die from rage and guilt.
"Good. She can protect you as much as you can protect her. In times like these our loved ones are the ones who keep us sane."
Truth be told, Morgan was afraid and not afraid to die at the same time. When she witnessed their parents being murdered in front of her, she was hoping they'd take her life too instead of doing what they did. They had knocked her out, and she came too with her parents blood on her and their bodies close to her. Part of her wondered if it was a setup, and she knew damn well that someone was out to hurt her family. Why did they spare her? Why didn't they go upstairs to find her little brother? Why were they alive and their parents dead? She wanted answers, and she couldn't find them.
She walked as she listened to him, and looked around, keeping an ear out for anyone near them or following them. She had trust issues, and wanted to get rid of the threats on her family. She had a feeling that it wasn't over, and that the men that killed their parents were watching the three of them.
"Keeping us sane? Oh, we are screwed brother." she chuckled, and eyed him for a moment. "We're all a little mad." she said, sounding like an evil villain and she grinned from ear to ear.

Dallas laughed a bit and walked with his sister, trying to get out of view from the people stalking them. The boy ran a hand through his hair and sighed when he thought they were safe. He hated living like this, it was a living nightmare.
"Batshit crazy." he teased and wrapped his arms around her, playfully making bite noises and laughed a bit. He missed her, he wished he could be there for her more. The thought that he would never be able to see her broke his heart.
