With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

One of Rose's favorite places was the astronomy tower. She would come up here even when there were no classes so she could see the night sky during nights where she could not really sleep as well as she wants to. The redhead had a lot on her mind and right now she just enjoyed some brownies while looking at the sky.
Stars were shining brightly with the moon and it made Rose wonder if the kids who had to leave school see the sky the same way. Rose found herself moving closer to the window and leaning forward, looking up at the sky.

One of Viola's things to do in the whole wide world was to go and watch the stars when it was late at night. They were so inspirational, and it always helped her muse with her song-writing or painting or what have you. She just had to make sure it wasn't super duper late when she went to go stargaze, or else she ended up too inspired to sleep until the early hours of the morning.
Trodding up the stairs with her telescope in hand, Vi had just walked through the door when she spied another person already in the Astronomy tower. Oh! The more the merrier. "Hi!" she said chirpily, smiling as she caught a glance of the other person's face. Rose, she believed, one of the many Weasley kids that attended Hogwarts. She'd not had much to do with her really, but she was always up for new pals. "Wow, look at your hair! It's super duper pretty in the moonlight. What shade is that? Like... hmm, a ginger or a burnt orange?" Whatever the colour was, she wanted to paint with it.

Rose was so occupied with the stars she barely noticed someone coming up here. The ginger turned around and almost slipped but managed to catch herself, she managed to hold into the windowsill and grinned a bit. "Thank you!" She squealed a bit and played with a lock of her own hair.
Rose was always one to show pride in her hair, you could see it in the way she moved and walks. Rose grinned a bit and moved close to Viola. "I love yours too! So pretty." she told her and looked at her own hair.

As Rose responded so happily to Vi's compliment, the Ravenclaw girl was beaming brightly immediately because honestly, seeing people smile because of her made her whole gosh darn tootin' day and she loved it. "You're welcome!" she replied brightly. When the girl didn't ask Vi her name or anything, Vi wasn't shy to introduce herself. "Soooo my name's Vi! Well, Viola. But Vi for short. I only get called Viola when I'm in trouble."
When Rose wasn't sure of the shade of the colour of her hair, Vi paused before shrugging loosely. No big deal! Vi would just have to think super duper hard on what shades of paint she could mix to replicate that particularly colour. "Okie dokies! Well, it's very pretty."

The other girl was so nice and Rose's spirits were raised already! The redhead happily moved closer towards the other girl, her hair was so bright blonde it was very special. Like Malfoy special. The girl introduced herself and Rose knew the Malfoy's did not have a daughter, then again it was rude to assume that Viola was a Malfoy as much as assume all gingers were Weasleys.
"I am Rose! Some people call me Rosie so you can call me whichever you like!" she said and held her hand out to shake Vi's. Rose took out her wand and used Lumos to look at the color of her hair some more.
"Well! Maybe it's more like copper?" She suggested, quite uncertan. "Are you an artist? Can you draw or paint?" she asked curiously and dimmed the light on her wand so she wasn't blinding anyone.

When the girl spoke again, Vi nodded with a smile before taking her hand, enthusiastically shaking it up and down and all around. "Rosie. I like that. Like the flower!" she said, grinning brightly.
Her grin only grew as Rose used lumos and shone the light on her hair, making the pretty copper tones flicker in the light. "Copper. I love it. Like super duper love it. it's all..." She waved her hands in the air, as though Rose would be able to somehow interpret what she was trying to say.
"Yes, artist! I guess technically I draw a rough sketch on my canvas before going in with my paint, but I guess people would say I'm a painter. I'm also a song writer and guitar play and singer." She laughed, shaking her head. "I guess the creative arts has been my calling since I was young... do you do any art?"

Viola was so sweet and the bright spirit just made Rose's spirit brighten up some more. The redhead grinned as she listened to the other girl, she was being so happy just because of Rose's hair color. The red hair was very special, Rose was as proud as she could be about it not having a single care that it's the weasley blood, the curly locks were from her mother.
"Oh I love it! All the art it's just amazing." she remembered going to a museum full of modern art, it was inspired. "I wish I could but I am very much into the color red." she told Viola and smiled a bit.
"All my clothes have to match red and I mean all of them." she spread her arms to show how much she meant it. "I am so very much jealous of your art skills! I am not a bad singer though! I do like to sing!"

Vi smiled and nodded in response to Rose as the younger girl shared that she admired art a lot and that she liked the colour red. Vi wasn't altogether certain what that had to do with art but she shrugged it off, nodding enthusiastically instead. "Red's a wonderful colour, isn't it? So lively and deep and vibrant... and I love, love, love red lipstick too," she shared.
"You like to sing? Me too! Maybe one day I can bring my guitar and we can have a super duper cool music sesh, d'you think so?" she suggested, eyes bright and gleaming with excitement. Not that many people in Hogwarts sung, after all!

Viola was such a vibrant girl. It made Rose so happy to see and she was sure they would be the bestest of friends! The ginger grinned a bit and took out the lipstick she used from her pocket. It was a very expensive one and the shade was really her aesthetic. Rose listened to the girl and nodded as she held her lipstick out.
"Honestly! this is my favorite." she said with a bright smile. "I am not super smart when it comes to art but my mother bought me this glass art piece that hangs in front of my window. It's red of course but when the light of the sun breaks through.. oh gosh you should see it!" she said and nodded.
"Oh please I would love a music session. No one here I know can play or sing with me!"
