With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Ollie was having some trouble with a subject about her class earlier this week. Her boggart was still bugging her but she needed to learn how to face it rather than freezing and almost get hit by a car. The girl was looking for her brother, he was smart and she could really use his insight.
Ollie walked around the courtyard and found her brother easily, he was alone like usual. It stood out in a way and she loved him. Ollie hopped towards David, letting out a squeal and waved. "David!" she said and grinned when she got closer to him.
"You are getting so tall! Oh wow. Ehm can you help me with something? Are you busy?"
David had been siting out enjoying the sun and the slight breeze in the air that day and was in the middle of doing his homework while listening to other students talk about their plans for the weekend and he wanted to be left alone for the time being. But the peaceful bubble he was in was interrupted by his younger sisters voice and he peeked up when she approached him, making him chuckle at the remark. There was a slight frown when he closed his book, knowing something was bugging her by the way she spoke and he placed his book aside, and made room for her to sit down.
"I'm never too busy for you. You can bug me all you want." he said, smiling a tiny bit. She was the only one that made him smile without even trying - he adored her more than anyone else in his family and she had helped him through the hardest times of his young life.

Her big brother was always there when she needed him, sure he wasn't the most muscular like their brother Thomas or a jock like Richard but they were siblings nonetheless. Blood was not everything and they all knew it well enough to make it true. Ollie looked at her brother with a bright smile, her eyes on her brother.
"Well I had class the other day and we had to fight a Boggart." she said and bit her lip as she hugged David before continuing her conversation. The blonde smiled a bit and looked around the precious courtyard.
"I saw the headlights from 11 years ago." she frowned for a moment and eyed him. "And I almost got hit by them, froze." she shook her head again, like she was trying to shake off the thought that way. "How did you fight yours? Did you manage to stop the Boggart and turn it into something funny?" she asked softly.
"Oh wow how rude of me, how have you been? Are you enjoying being back?"
David's face fell as soon as the words Boggart came out, and he had flashes of his experience with them. His worse fear trying to come out, and he had managed to grow a pair and fight it. It took him a few seconds but he managed to do it and then have a panic attack afterward due to the damage it did to his mind. He never wanted to see one of those beasts again, and he had to fight one in front of his classmates. It wasn't the best thing for him in that time. He wanted to forget that time his parents were taken from him.
David gave her a small smile and shook his head, waving off the fact that she mentioned she was rude. "Ollie, don't worry about it. I'm fine. And I am...sorta." he gave her a a nod as he thought about what had happened. "Now fighting the Boggart wasn't my favorite thing to do but I have managed and told myself it wasn't entirely real and it couldn't hurt me." he said and eyed her for a moment.
"It's okay to freeze during that A lot of people do it."

Ollie knew David was a smarty pants, he always knew the right answers to the school's questions and she was sometimes a bit envious about it. She wished she was as smart but she truly wanted to become a healer and she feared that she might not get the grades she needed to do so.
Ollie kissed her brother's cheek and hugged him again. The boggart subject made him sad and she hated seeing David sad. The girl really just wanted to take care of him but she knew he could easily do that himself.
"I didn't mean to freeze.. and it was only for a moment but it was hard. What did you learn in your class? Did you have to do something new?" she asked and cocked her head a bit.
David was concerned for Ollie sometimes, afraid he might lose her the way he lost his birth parents all those years ago. But David would never share his fears with anyone, especially his sister. He didn't want to show weakness whenever he was around her, he wanted her to see him strong and willing to fight for himself. He knew she saw the discomfort in his features cause she had hugged him, and he just gave her a small smile, snapping out of the pit of sadness he saw himself nose diving into. He wanted to be the protective brother, and wanted to make sure everyone else was happy.
David shook his head at her question. "Didn't learn anything new. Just did what everyone else did." he frowned. He didn't like this subject at all.
Then his favorite subject came up, and he smiled hugely. "Been working on a novel actually. I have some of the drafts here if you want to read it." he said as he reached down for his bag.

David didn't like school, understood. She wished he was happier here but she often found her big brother very sad in a corner. She wished that she could make him feel better because her family meant the world to her, more than she could ever say out loud with actual words. Ollie waited for her brother to take the draft out of his bag.
"What is it about? Is it about crimes? I have been reading this big crime novel series and they are actually really scary but also very good." she rambled a bit and held her tiny hands out for her brother to hand her the draft.
"Will you publish it under an alias? Like a lot of writers do it? H.G. Wells for example!" she said and spun around on her heels.
David took out the folder with his novel inside, and double checked that all the papers were inside before handed it to his sister. He enjoyed writing so much and would often find himself up late at night writing away. Some people had complained that he kept them up but he really didn't, instead he'd find himself in the common room and writing while everyone else slept. He hated to bother of people when he did his own thing and tried to stay in a room by himself. He didn't want to be surrounded by idiots.
"It's actually a crime thriller. I'm still working on it. Even have plans for a second." he said with a huge smile and closed his bag. "And I haven't decided yet. I think it's probably wise that I use an alias." he said and shook his head. No one would buy a book by David Jones.

Ollie was not a massive reader, sure she liked books but she didn't read as much as her brother or some of her other siblings. She liked to read her usual crime novel and sometimes a romance one but Ollie mostly spent time working on school or spending time with her friends. There seemed to be little time for herself to sit somewhere and read.
She took the draft carefully and listened to her brother speaking about it being a crime thriller as well as wanting a second book from it. "Well it does sound really good Davey." she said and grinned a bit before looking up at her very tall brother who said he probably would use an alias.
"You don't have too, you have a lovely name." she added and started to skim through the pages, she might need to take her time to read this though.
"Davey you are a great writer and one day when you are famous don't forget about little me." She teased and gave him one of her brightest smiles.
David was quite proud of himself, and his writing and he wanted this novel to work out. His sister inspired the main character of his novel, and he was proud of the things she had done over the years. He was a proud brother when she got the prefect badge, and even baked brownies for her to celebrate it. He'd do anything for her, and he would continue to do it because she was his best friend, and he wasn't going to let people harass her or any of his sisters. They all meant the world to him, but she was the one that had helped him through the trauma.
"Well of course I won't forget you. You're my muse." he admitted and eyed her with the biggest grin. He was proud of himself, and he wanted this novel to be a success. He'd be sad if it wasn't. Whenever he's not studying, he was writing for the novel. He nodded his head at the mention of brownies. Of course he wanted brownies. How could he not? They were the best in the world, and everyone deserved the happiness.
"Let's go get some brownies, sister." he said and moved to grab his bag to actually put around his shoulder.

Ollie was proud of her big brother, he was such a good writer and an amazing person. He never once judged Ollie for who she is, even when her hair started to change colors when she didn't want it to. The blue eyed girl linked her arm with her brother's and walked with him to the castle. It feels great to spend some time with him.
"Am I really?" she gasped and looked at her brother with the biggest smile Ollie could get on her face. Ollie never thought she would be the inspiration for David's books! She really couldn't wait to read them now! The girl was going to read it all so many times that she will know everything by heart.
"I mean I am just me! I didn't think I'd be able to inspire you big brother!" she kissed his cheek gently and nodded.
"Brownies are the best! The elves are so great at it and I often wonder if they use something special to make them so tasty!"
Fame wasn't something David wanted entirely, he just wanted to write and publish books because he enjoyed it. It didn't matter about the money, it doesn't matter about the endless tours if his book became a huge success. He wasn't planning on releasing it until after he graduated from Hogwarts in a couple of years. He wanted time to enjoy being a teenager while he still can. This was something that he can work on while he was done with his homework. The male had many places where he can write without people bugging him, and Ollie knew most of those places in case she needed him for something.
"Of course. You've helped me, and it inspired the main character in this novel. Now when you can read it, and just imagine yourself doing the very thing the character is doing." he said with a huge grin. At least he can make her day with his words, and telling her that the main character has personality traits of his favorite sister.

Ollie wasn't the most heroic person. She was very much the kind of girl people often called too nice to be able to punch a bully or get nasty. She didn't disagree either because it was true, she couldn't punch someone without bursting into tears she was sure of it. Ollie eyed her brother who said the character was like her and she frowned.
"Will she cry and hide too?" she joked a bit though was it really a joke? She then shrugged slowly. "I totally will, it sounds amazing already." she told him and smiled brightly. The girl hugged him and kissed his cheek.
David was sorta kidding on the brownies having pot in them, in fact, he wouldn't blame the little house elves doing such a thing. Most of these students were under stress and had panic attacks often, and they need to chill out. Even though David wouldn't allow anyone to spike the drinks or food at the school parties, he'd throw the crap away if he saw someone try to drug fellow students. He wasn't one to sit by, and let crime happen around him. Sure, people bullied and he would sometimes find himself at the end of a punch. He'd defend his sisters even if it killed him.
There was a small smile on his face and shrugged his shoulder. "You'll have to wait and see. But she does have her moments." he said and bumped her shoulder. "Don't sell yourself short, Ollie. You are brave and always calm in stressful situations. I don't know how you do it but I'm proud of you. Always will be."

Ollie didn't always know when people were joking, she'd just assume it was true because why wouldn't it be? They were in a magical world so everything seemed possible. She just felt glad to have David by her side, he was her friend and her big brother. She just hugged him with one arm and smiled a bit.
"She sounds so cool. You know I do want all the autographs when you become famous Davey." she said and grinned a bit.
"Maybe take me with you when you see the world?" she had a small pout because she really didnt' want him to leave her. Soon she would have to do a year of school without her big brother by her side.
"You really mean that?" she had a bright smile on her face as he told her he was proud of her.
