With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

After a long, relaxing shower from a l9ng afternoon's practice on the Pitch, Elena made her way to one of her all time favorite places to cuddle up-- the Room of Requirement. While she loved the ambiance in the Slytherin Common room, she couldn't bring her favorites in there to cuddle with her. She had a few Slytherin friends she could probably cuddle with, but in truth, she always had the most affectionate cuddles save for her all-time besties Viola and Liam.
But since their date, she had become even more giggly and cuddly with Liam than usual. She had a ridiculously obvious crush on him before, but now? She'd actually told him. Out right. No guessing games. She had finally let him know, and he'd actually wanted to go on a date... And it went great! She was just a silly fool everytime she saw him. It probably made everyone else gag (save for Viola), but she never really cared much for negative opinions anyways.
Now, it was time to snuggle in with some treats under her favorite soft, green sherpa blanket while she read a little bit in front of a fireplace on a plush, comfy couch. She snuggled in giving a satisfied hum as she reached into a bag of pretzels and small colorful, candy-coated chocolate pieces with her eyes glued to the first page. She'd let Liam know in a little note in class that he could feel free to join her if he liked.
Liam was about to die, he was sure of it, as he stood atop the closest chair in the common room, frozen in horror as his big brown eyes stared into eight, tiny, malicious eyes across the room. "Win.... wingardi... w w wingardium levi..." Liam had decided that the best way to deal with his enormous enemy by floating a big book from a nearby desk and letting it drop. It would be the most satisfying ker-splat noise Liam had heard in his entire life. If only he could get the words out of his mouth so the wand pointed at the book would work.
"Helllllp!" Liam shreiked as the spider ran for cover under his chair when some students opened the door that lead to the dorms. Of course they looked as stunned as Liam made a record-breaking leap off the chair towards the exit of the room. "It's a crazed beast!" Liam informed them and the first years began to scream and run out of the common room all at once with him. "Ow ow ow - no we can't all fit in at the same time! Schtapppppp!"
Once he was out, Liam rested his head against the cold stone of the walls and tried to catch his breath. "That... that was so close!" one of the firsties tugged at Liam's shirt and asked what beast is loose in the common room - something about getting the right professor to help. "It... it was a monster. ALMOST AS BIG AS MY HAND," Liam held out his growing hand that would easily be the size of a dinner plate by the time he finished puberty. His little gaggle of firsties all gasped in fright. "It... it had eight eyes that stared into my soul," he said before one bright student asked - 'are you talking about a spider?' Liam nodded, the colour draining from his face before he added, "crossed with a dementor, for sure."
The firsties scoffed when they found out it was just a spider and Liam found himself alone once he finally lifted his head off the wall. He groaned and tucked his wand back into his pocket after checking his watch. It's time. Elena time. With a hop, skip and a jump, Liam made his way to their favourite place - the Room of Requirement. Before he made his way inside, Liam took a moment to adjust his clothing and pat down his hair to make sure none of the 'fro was out of place. "Well, Elena, don't you look as snug as a love bug in a rug?" Liam called, making his way over to flop down right on top of the girl. His entire body weight would easily crush her, no doubt, so he was careful to expertly hold a decent portion of himself off of her. "You would not believe the afternoon I've had. Wait. Where did you go, Elena???" he asked quizzically, pretending like he didn't know she was stuck beneath him.

A giddy giggle escaped that... Frankly, she didn't even know she had. "And you're handsome as ever-- but you already knew that didn't you?" She cooed, marking her page before she closed the book and set it aside. She was over the moon after their date, and honestly? She was just super duper happy and excited.
She couldn't help but laugh as he flopped over, sitting on her playfully. She wrapped her arms around him as best as she could at his midsection, but he was pretty brode in comparison to the pixie of a girl. "You sure you want to lose me under ya?" She teased, wiggling her fingers in front of him as an obvious warning-- she could easily tickle him in the position they currently found themselves in. She wondered if even that fact was enough to save her, but to be fair, she never left her fate in the hands of others. She could save herself, right?
He held most of his weight up, obviously to keep from squishing her. She managed to squirm out pretty quickly with her tickling fingers at the ready. She sat up at the cushion next to him, before immediately pouncing on him and tickling at him. "You sure you still can't find me, Lili?" She laughed. "Or am I invisible as well now, too?" She joked, straddled over her lap to try to keep him from being able to run from her trickling should she decide to strike again.
