With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Dex,
I thought it was time I dropped you a line to see how things were going. Same as usual here- busier and busier, of course- but not so great without you around, of course. Beds full today and looking like going on that way for some time, but nothing to be done about it and of course the Ministry looming like vampires at a blood bank so more paperwork. Enough said.
Hope you're doing well. Can't be very pleasant living as you are but at least winter over and weather improving by the day. Still sorry couldn't do more to help but things are what they are and nothing to be said about it. Awful lot of people not satisfied so will wait and see what transpires. Suggest you keep eye out as said to be more and more violence going on- will believe it when I see it.

Cho,
I honestly had no idea if I were ever going to hear from you again after I was sacked from the hospital. It's been a very long time, Cho. Things are going as well as expected for me even though these attacks are getting severely out of hand and I'm running low on supplies for my pack. It's getting quite dangerous out here and I have no idea if I can protect my new family from harm. I have a daughter now, a few months old and she's the light in this darkness.
How are things going on your end? Honestly, I miss working there. If I can abandon my duties here for a bit maybe we can meet up somewhere. Someplace safe and possibly public.
I know I haven't written to you in forever and I'm sorry; it's not easy finding the time, but I shouldn't make excuses. I hope you realise I would never hold the circumstances of your leaving against you, or the reason for that. Just an unfortunate combination of circumstances and me being a bloody useless friend, for which I can't apologise enough. Congratulations on your daughter- what's her name? I'm sure she's gorgeous, and if you need any parenting tips, for God's sake don't ask me. You'll be brilliant at it, I'm sure.
Things at this end would be a lot easier if I didn't have to cope with Ministry bureaucracy and anti-lycanthropic prejudice while trying to treat patients, but it is what it is. We're coping, just about, and there are some good new Healers coming through- some of them you'd really like. With luck, you'll be able to work with them some time in the future. Meeting up sounds brilliant; it feels like decades since I've seen you.
