With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

There had been a dark cloud hovering over Casey’s head for the past few weeks because of a personal loss. It felt like it was yesterday when Professor Mason had told her that her father was dead, that there’s going to be an investigation. The Ravenclaw had used her two way mirror to interact with her brother, telling him that she was fine. It was a lie and it seemed that people might have seen the actual real pain she was in. There had been sleepless nights which caused her to nod off during a couple of classes, there has been an appetite change and her not interacting with people like she used too. She was keeping people at arms length because she didn’t want to seem weak. All she’s been doing was going to Quidditch practice and doing her daily workouts. Perhaps she was overworking herself because the last thing she remembered before waking up in the dorm room was her falling flat on her back on the Quidditch pitch.
Casey’s eyes flicked open as she had woken up in her own bed and couldn’t remember how she had gotten to her dorm - confusing the female. Her head was pounding when she had adjusted to sit up and looked around the dorm room, empty. It wasn’t unusual but some people weren’t leaving her alone when she wanted it. A sigh had left her when she noticed a note with a cup of juice and what she assumed was a candy bar from her own stash her brother had sent her weeks prior. Eat this. Drink the whole thing. the note had said and she noticed something else. A letter with her father’s hand writing, causing her to pick it up with trembling hands.
The female eyed it before setting it back down on the stand before she had grabbed the chocolate, unwrapping it slowly as the door of her dorm room opened. She didn’t look up but instead she felt the foot of her bed shift as the person sat down. ”I don’t remember getting here…” she said and looked up.
There was a big problem in the air and that was Casey's health. How could she even do this to herself and the team? Sure there were many people whispering about her health and how Hufflepuff was going to kick Ravenclaw's ass because of Casey losing focus, apparently people had been seeing her work her butt off and Mavican was concerned to say the least. With a sigh the redhead was seated on Casey's bed and told everyone to leave her be. She would wait for her to wake up from the fall she made, from the fainting.
Mavican heard someone call her name so she went out for a few moments but when she returned Casey was awake and the redhead let out a small sigh. She sat down again on the bed and frowned for a moment. "We carried you back, you fell.." she sighed and looked at Casey. "You haven't been yourself since... and I totally understand but this is not good for your health. You have to eat something.." she said and eyed the letter and the chocolate. "Is it from your father?" she asked her when she eyed the letter and then her girlfriend again.
This was bound to happen, the fainting - that’s what she assumed what had caused her to wake up in her dorm room. At least it wasn’t in class, in front of a professor because she’d be in the hospital wing instead. At least she had people who understood that she hated spending time in the hospital wing, that people had carried her back to the dorms. How they managed? She had no idea but she was thankful that a professor hadn’t been in to check on her. Last thing she needed was for her team to train another student to be the seeker for the game. The girl needed to be focused, and training. A part of her wanted to go back out there but when Mavican spoke of..what’s been happening, her heart sank.
The female looked down, away from her girlfriend because she was ashamed of herself for even pulling these stunts. For making people worry. All she did was bring the chocolate bar to her mouth and took a tiny bite of it while she thought over the past couple of weeks. The girl winced at the question about the letter and who it was from, making her not want to even think about him. It was a painful thing to bring up. Sure, Casey and her father were at odds, but it was still a sore subject.
Casey avoided the subject on the letter and shrugged. ”Worried about me general? Or worried that I’m not going to be able to play?” she said, sounding cold.
