With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Spring!
The best time of the year where the flowers were in bloom, trees looked like they were full of life again and the sun even peeked around the corner of its clouds. Clary wanted to soak up some sunlight, even when it was a mild temperature outside and people still preffered to wear something warm and stay indoors. Clary had been stuck indoors for so long, the girl was feeling like a prisoner in this place. Once summer comes around freedom was something she was going to enjoy to the fullest. The feeling of beach sand on her bare feet as she'd run across the beach with her siblings.
The scratches she will get from climbing trees and pretend she is a pirate. Of course she was a fifteen year old girl but that didn't mean she couldn't get playful when she wanted to. Clary couldn't wait to go to the movies, watch some silly disney films with her siblings. Before she had all the ideas she could live through with her siblings she was actually planning on seeing her boyfriend.. but then.. he disappeared and she was alone.. again.
Clary hated being alone. It was like the world was so much smaller when all she had was herself to entertain. At some point there was nothing left to do. Maybe she was even a little afraid of being alone but never in her life would she admit to such a thing. Clary was quite convinced that she was as fearless as she could be so she would never, ever admit to anything that could be a possible fear. The redhead stretched her arms as she walked across the lawns and bent down to pick a few flowers before spotting Parker.
"Hey Parker!" she waved and walked over to the girl. She was Ollie's best friend and she heard about the breakup she suffered yet again, the poor girl. "Have a flower on this beautiful day!" she said and held the flower out. "How are you?" she asked kindly.
Another breakup, another angry bitter Tyrell wanting revenge against her ex-boyfriend. Maybe Parker wasn’t meant to love this boy, maybe she was meant to be alone forever. Sometimes she wondered if he even loved her at all, but she wasn’t going to question it. When Oswald had found out about the breakup, he had come to her and hugged her, telling her that it’ll be okay and that he was there. It was odd for him, but she did appearatie it. Her big brother being protective of her, something she wished Peter was there for. Once the breakup had happened, she had written to her twin brother and told him that he didn’t have to worry about Oscar anymore.
Parker had been sitting outside, alone and pale from her lack of sleep because of this ordeal. She had been pushing people away, not wanting to deal with her feelings anymore. She wanted to make herself feel empty, make her forget that Oscar and herself were no more. It helped whenever he wasn’t in her view of sight. It was for the best. This was needed.
Parker’s eyes scanned the area as Jack laid in her lap, purring as she absentmindedly stroked his head. The old boy had sunk his claws into her jeans, making her smile a bit as she heard Clary call her name and approached her with a flower. The cat sat up in his owners lap, giving the girl an annoyed look as Clary held out the flower.
There was a low chuckle from the Tyrell and she took the flower. ”I’m doing fine. How about you?” she asked, squinting a bit as she looked up at her.

So here was the thing. Clary was quite aware that Parker was besties with her sister Ollie. Ollie and Parker were hard to separate because they were just that close. Sometimes Clary felt like her sister and Parker were twins or tied to each other's hips but yet here she was, alone and looking sad. Clary hoped she could cheer her up, in a way that was something she was quite good at. Sure if people needed a reality check or she wanted to go onto an adventure kindness was a luxury but in these cases kindness was anything but a luxury.
As she was seated beside Parker, the redhead just had a smile on her face. "I am bored but not too bad myself! What are you doing here all by yourself?" she asked and tucked her legs in a bit as she was getting comfortable. Clary tucked a lock of hair behind her ear and hummed. "Well at least you got company now! I hope you like the flower, it's pretty isn't it?" she asked and looked away at the courtyard. "I'm glad spring is back, all the flowers are in bloom which is the best thing to see. Did you see the flowers on the lawns?" she asked her and cocked her head to the side a bit.
Clary was well known for talking a lot but honestly she tried to make conversation because she wanted to get to know people.
Parker had looked down at her feline who was staring at Clary as if she was a strange human (perhaps he was right) and he had laid back down in his human’s lap licking his chops as if he wanted to eat the other female for lunch. Parker knew how the old feline felt, having heard that Clary as was chatty as the rest of them and Parker had nothing against it because she was also chatty, but not cheery as the days rolled by. God, Oscar did a good job on her emotions this time around - some would say the least. When Clary had said she was bored but not too bad, it made Parker smile a tiny bit.
”I love the flower. Thank you.” she said as she eyed the flower in her hand and she decided to make use of it, putting it in her hair. It was unusual but Parker wanted to entertain her best friend’s sister. ”I haven’t really no. Didn’t do much...wandering around the grounds. I felt like being alone, get some fresh air. Not bother your sister with my problems…” she stated and trailed off as Jack jumped out of her lap to chase some bug nearby.

Seeing Parker with the flower and being happy was a nice sight. She had seen her be sad and pouty in most places which wasn't fun to watch. Seeing people hurt wasn't something Clary enjoyed. The redhead had a smile in her face and looked at the little cat in Parker's lap. Clary didn't have her own cat but she ended up playing with Ollie's all the time. She wondered how Ollie was doing, she missed her. Clary looked at Parker putting the flower in her hair and grinned. "You look great with that." she said with a brighter smile.
"Well maybe we should go see them together?" she asked and smiled. "I can show you where they are." she assured Parker and gave her a bright smile. Clary just wanted to have fun and maybe show Parker what fun was all about! "Oh you can always talk to Ollie about problems, she will listen." Clary remembered how she was always whining to Ollie about everything and the girl would just listen to Clary and her issues. The girl got up on her feet and held her hand out to Parker.
"Come with me? See the flowers?" she asked and though it might be weird to go see flowers, it was a beautiful view and it would cheer Parker right up!
Parker had it rough for the past couple of weeks due to the breakup and not wanting to interact with the other students. She didn’t want to bother her best friend when her best friend was clearly happy with her own love life. Part of Parker was a little jealous, but she never wanted to make her friend feel bad and knew she would if Parker had mentioned it. The Tyrell was good at hiding how she felt, keeping everything to herself because she didn’t want to burden everyone else. Sometimes she’s gotta keep swimming. Perhaps her father would send her another box of chocolate goods - the man was good like that. Always knew a way to cheer his children up.
”I know I can talk to Ollie but I don’t want to be a burden these days. The girl is dealing with her own life. I don’t want to add onto it.” she said as she looked at Jack run off to kill the bug he had spotted moments before. Some companion. He was supposed to be her buddy when she had no one else.
When Clary stood up, offering her hand and offered to go see the flowers, Parker paused for a moment, her eyes squinting at the other girl for a moment. It took her a few more seconds to take her outstretched hand and got to her feet with a tiny smile. ”Show me.”
Clary was not the kind of girl who would be the best at cheering someone up. She was in fact quite the opposite. Often she was seen as annoying because she didn't see the point of being pouty and sad all the time. She went through it, wasn't great, got over it. The redhead though knew the pain of heartbreak and the sooner that Parker knew to move on, the better she would feel. Clary grinned a bit and ran a hand through her hair as she watched Parker take hers to go see the flowers.
"I thought you were a big talker but you've been super quiet. Are you too afraid of talking to me?" she teased as they walked to the flower fields. Clary cocked her head to the side a little bit when she almost bumped into someone and giggled. "Sorry mate!" she called and then turned back to Parker. "It's funny we never hang out, you and Ollie hang out all the time! And she is my sister!" she said with a chuckle, her hands into her pockets as Clary kept walking. She never really became friends with Ollie's friends because they were not her type of people.
There was Evan who's Ollie's bestie and then Parker as well. Clary had her own friends but that didn't mean she wasn't open to new ones. "How are you and your siblings getting along?"
Parker was not used to chatting about her feelings to any person other than Ollie or her siblings. They knew how she felt half the time, mostly knew what she liked and didn’t like. They knew her well, and if Parker wasn’t entirely chatty even to them, it was a sign of distress. Parker had been stressed about a lot of things lately, from the breakup and the fact that the baby Tyrell was to be born any day now. Sometimes she’d find herself sitting near the owlery waiting for an owl to come with the announcement that she had a baby brother. That her stepmother was going to be fine, that her family wasn’t entirely broken.
Parker had walked with Clary to the flower fields, letting out a low hum in response. ”I’m not afraid of talking to you. I’m just ...distracted…” she pointed out as she walked with her best friend’s sister.
When the question was asked about her family, Parker stopped in her tracks. ”We’re good. For the most part.”
Clary was quite the opposite of her sister. Where Ollie was sweet and caring and most of all too kind to see flaws or bad things, Clary was different. Clary saw the bad in people and she wouldn't care. Sometimes the bad is the most attractive trait to her and she found herself easily around baddies because of it but some people acted bad just to push others away and Clary saw that too. Sure she would be a giggly person around her friends like Viola and Kitty but not around Greyson. Clary had a way to adjust herself to make sure she was able to hang out with the people she wanted.
Ollie was just.. Ollie. Ollie would never change who she is and Clary admired that. The redhead eyed Parker who seemed quite uneasy in a way and she just automatically felt bad for even trying to force herself on her. Clary just wanted to make her feel better so she didn't have to be sad anymore. "Distracted by what? People?" she asked curiously hoping to keep the conversation flowing. Then Parker stopped walking and Clary felt like she struck a nerve there.
"Sorry for asking, you don't have to talk about it." she assured her and frowned. "We can watch the flowers in silence if you prefer that.." she added feeling awkward now.
Parker stared at the flowers for a moment as she thought over the past couple of months, wanting to talk about it and not wanting to talk about it. The Hufflepuff didn’t want to unleash a bunch of drama onto Clary, but she seems like she wanted to help Parker with whatever was bothering the female. After a few moments, Parker watched the flowers and noticed movements out of the corner of her eye, causing her to turn her head and smiled a tiny bit. A bunny nearby, investigating its surroundings and it reminded her of the time she had spent in the flower fields near her home. She’d go there to think, even bring a sibling or two with her.
”No, it’s fine.” she said softly as she snapped out of it for a moment to glanced at her new found friend. ”I’m just distracted by my own thoughts. Family. The fact that I have a baby brother on the way and waiting for word from my father about it.” she said, looking at the bunny as it hopped closer.
”Let’s sit.” she said, moving a bit to find a comfortable spot on the ground and watched the creature nearby. ”Exams are coming and I’m stressing about that.” she admitted with a chuckle.

Clary could understand the difficulties of large families. She knew the Tyrell's were big, heck Charlie once was quite suspicious of them. She noticed the ring on Parker's finger, a family ring only a few of them wore. Was it a preference on which kid was most important? Clary didn't dare to ask. The last thing Clary wanted was to come off rude and yet she had so many questions, so many curiosities that needed to be fed at some point for her to stay alive. With a small smile the girl just looked at the flower bed.
Sometimes the most magical thing in this place was nature itself. As her fingers reached up for her locks, the redhead turned into a blonde. "Oh a new baby? Gosh you will have as much siblings as I do!" she said with a chuckle and plopped down in the grass. The bunny was bouncing about happily and Clary wondered if it had any friends. "Oh yes exams are toughies. But if you paid attention in class you can rock them!" she said quite sure of it herself. With a slight hum she started to drum her fingers on her legs.
"What would be the name of your new baby brother? Do you have a favorite sibling?" she asked and grinned. "I was found in a dumpster when I was just a wee baby."
”I’m surprised I don’t have to share a room with any of them…” Parker said as Clary sounded quite surprised at the number of siblings she had. Unlike Ariella and Oswald, Parker respected her siblings, despite if they’re bastards or a product of a marriage that didn’t last. She wasn’t one to turn them away during the holidays, and she treated them like family. Yes, they were half-siblings but she wasn’t as rude as her older siblings in that case. There was a tiny smile on parker’s face when she watched the bunny disappear into the bush. ”I paid attention. My grades are good. Or that’s what I believe.”
Parker moved to play with the ring on her finger as she thought about the upcoming exams and the end of the school year. She wondered what Oswald was going to do after he graduates from Hogwarts. It was said that he was going to get involved with the family business but those were rumors at the moment. She knew how her father felt about his son at this time.
”Father hadn’t told me yet. Any of us in fact.” she said and glanced at Clary with a frown. ”I don’t play favorites. I treat them all the same. Maybe Peter a little different but he’s not around.” she trailed off.
Clary was living in a big family but there was no real divide. Everyone was adopted, they were all equal even when she had a brother believing he was above them all, he was nothing different than the rest of the lot. Clary had been approached many times about her siblings but they were her siblings and she would never speak ill of any of them. As she listened to Parker the girl watched the bunny. "Well not to sound mean but most of your siblings are in Slytherin so maybe you should be glad you're not?" she asked and frowned.
"I mean there are good slytherins but only one in a dozen aren't mean.." she added and shrugged. "You shouldn't be treated or treat others differently. Sure I have my favorite sibling but they're all equal to me." she said with a smile. "I am sure your family is a lot more complicated huh? With the fancy rings I mean?" oh shit she said it and there was no turning back. Ah well, she never said she was perfect. Clary picked a flower and tucked it in her own hair.
"It probably did but I have sweet parents so why would I complain?"
Parker cocked her head to the side as she absentmindedly played with the ring her father had given her and her siblings, well some of them. They all didn’t have it because they were conceived outside of marriage and were considered bastards. She didn’t judge those siblings much, but they didn’t get to have the fortune and other nice things. The ones born to the wives of Samuel Tyrell were the favorites of the man, something Parker couldn’t understand but she wasn’t one to judge. Much. There was a tiny smile on her face when she thought about the Slytherin comment and she chuckled. ”Out of my entire family that were in that house, Peter is the good guy. Despite what’s happening to him these days…” she said, trailing off as she thought about her twin brother. Man, she missed him.
The female turned her head toward Clary when she brought up the rings and Parker looked at her hand with a frown. ”Yeah, these rings are given to the children of Samuel Tyrell and a wife. The other’s who don’t have it, well are bastards. My dad plays favorites…” she said smiling a bit.
She took off her ring to look at it, smiling a bit. ”Our names are in the rim of it.” she said as she held the ring out for Clary to take to look at.

Being adopted meant in the end everyone was a bastard child because none of them were biologically a Jones. Sure it could hurt if you think about it. Parents can abandon you, get rid of you or die and leave you parentless but this family she had, it was a family she was proud of. Clary didnt have the divide that Parker clearly suffered from. She never experienced something like this but what seemed normal to this girl, was world strange to Clary herself. The girl listened to Parker and a smile creeped on her lips.
"I liked him when he was still in school. He once fought a bully off for me." she admitted and though she refused to admit she had a tiny thing for him, she did admit that he was a sweet guy. "I don't think its favoritism." she told Parker while her eyes were on the ring. "Some families are like the old ones back in the time that only children within wedlock were eligible for thrones and fortunes. Your father seems to honor those traditions." she said and smiled. "Is there a throne that comes with this?" she asked as she took the ring to study it.
"It's actually very pretty. You better not lose it." she said and handed it back.
