With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

It was one of those times where Clary found herself bored out of her skull! The girl had felt like she needed more adventures in her life and how better to get to them then explore? The greenhouses were usually very private to only the classes and since the professor was nowhere to be found Clary had the perfect chance to do something new! With a grin on her face she snuck into the greenhouses, her eyes searching for something special and frowned as it seemed like any other greenhouse she broke into whenever she was home.
Welp.
Clary let out a disappointed sigh and just strolled among the plants. Some looked kind of scary and she wondered if there was any life in them. With a curious expression she was about to poke a plant when she heard a noise and slowly hid behind a few pots. She had no idea who it would be and she had no interest in detention.
Leander had been investigating some of the plants in the greenhouse for a potion he was trying to create. Yes, it was quite ambitious of him to try to create his own potion at just fifteen-years-old, but Leander had high goals for himself. He figured it would be quite the thing to add to his future Potions Master resume if he could actually create something from scratch. Of course, that meant a lot of experimentation and a lot of secrecy in order to execute said experiments, so Leander had been wandering into the greenhouse for several weeks gathering different types of plants to try. The goal: create a potion to instantly stop nausea.
As he turned down the next row of potted plants, Leander caught a glimpse of blonde hair from his periphereal. "Gah!" he shouted, then immediately smacked his hand over his own mouth. When he realized it was actually Clarissa, he hoped he hadn't given away their position. "Hey you, what're you doing sneaking around?" he asked cheerfully, with the evidence of his business there clutched in his hand at his side.

Getting into trouble, how bad it might sound was hard to avoid when you were her. Clary seemed to always find trouble.. or did trouble find her? The blonde girl had thought about at least ten different moves to make where she would possibly not be caught but then when she looked away to search for an exit a shout came from what sounded like a boy and Clary looked up, letting out a squeal and fell backwards on her butt. Clary's eyes were big from shock and it took her about a few mississippi's to realize it was Leander all along.
"Oh you frightened me!" she exclaimed and tried to get back on her feet. "I was.. exploring." she said and bit her lip as she cleaned herself off. "There is always loot somewhere mr. Laurent." she said with a pirate like tone in her voice, a smile on her face and a sparkle in her eyes. Clary liked feeling like a pirate, looting places. It was fun!
No she didn't think it was stealing because... well stealing was bad and looting was fun! "What are you doing here?" she asked him and eyed his hand. "Did you find loot?"
As Leander watched Clary fall, he stretched out his hands as if to catch her, but of course he failed massively. She fell onto her bottom and Leander cringed. "Oops," he muttered to himself. He probably was the worst for that, but as she expressly got up on her own, without reaching for his hands that remained stuck in the air, he realized she was totally fine. "Exploring is always fun!" he cheered. If there was anything he loved, it was being able to be light-hearted with friends like Clary.
He was sketpical in explaining himself, but when she asked if he found anything and her eyes fell to his hands - well, there was no denying it, really. Leander chuckled and raised his hand in the air, showing the roots of the Squill bulb. "Sure did!" he said giddily, grinning ear to ear. Leander put it in the brown bag in his other hand and then dropped the bag onto the nearest free space of table. "Just some Squill bulb roots for a...project," he said discretely. "How about you? Find anything?" Leander asked, smiling at the playful girl in front of him.

The girl had a smile on her face, loosing up already because hey they were looting for fun reasons now right? It was a good thing. She knew he stretched his hand out to catch her but honestly she was made to fall and get back up at ease. Clary was athletic and not afraid of a few bruises. The girl was actually not afraid of anything, even getting in trouble wasn't something she should fear now was it? What if the reason for getting in trouble was fun? Would that be worth it?
"What is that?" she reached out to poke it. "Is it fun?" she asked and narrowed her eyes as if she could think better while looking at it. "Squill what now?" she had no interest in biology which was odd since she was in a bloody greenhouse but it meant she had no clue what Leander just said and eyed the brown bag. More loot?
"Not yet! I was just exploring!" she admitted and eyed the plant she was going to poke. "I wanted to poke that and see if it would come to life. It looks like one of those mario plants that can eat you." she chuckled not sure if Leander even knew what mario was. "Do you play mario? It's kind of fun."
It was pretty obvious that Clarissa had no idea what he was talking about. Leander didn't mind, though, because he loved being insightful to those who didn't know things. He often had insecurity about it though - what if people took him for a know-it-all? He didn't mean to come across that way. If anything, he thought passing along knowledge could help someone at some point. He chuckled at her expression, grinning. She was pretty cute, honestly. "Squill bulb," he repeated, chuckling once more. "I'd say it's fun - ever heard of Felix Felicis? It's in it," Leander explained. Honestly the best time for harvesting the root was just after the flower bloomed, but he didn't have time to wait.
When she spoke, Leander's eyes glanced over to the plant she was referencing. It wasn't one he initially recognized, but upon further investigation, he was sure he could have identified it. "Mario plants?" he asked, confused. "No...I've never played Mare-io," Leander said, then corrected himself, "or Mario I guess it is. What is it?" Leader figured it was a Muggle game or something. He wasn't opposed to Muggles, really, but he never had a strong interest in their doings in the world. Wizardry was much more fun.
