With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
David was furious, and concerned at the same time. Why, you ask? That is because he had heard from Charlie that Clary seemed to have the hots for an Avery boy, and he hated them. Perhaps it was because he doesn’t trust any of the boys with his sisters, and sure, Charlie was dating the girl Avery which he didn’t have a huge problem. The male had figured that they were bad news, and the last thing David wanted was for another one of his stupid sisters to fall for an idiot like Avery. Okay, Olivia wasn’t entirely stupid, just native. When he had heard about this, he had marched from one end of the lawns, and inside the castle, looking for his sister.
If looks could kill, both Avery boys would be six feet under right about now. Maybe that’ll solve all their problems. Goodness, now he’s thinking of homicide. This was so unlike David to get himself worked up over, but this needs to stop!
David figured his sister would be in the Great Hall, knowing that she could be eating a late lunch and when he had spotted her, he moved right toward her. ”Greyson Avery?! Are you kidding me?” he snapped as he sat down next to her.

Clarissa was exhausted, she had been working hard on her homework until late at night and it was about three in the morning when she was so exhausted she collapsed in bed. Now the girl was up late, missed her morning classes which was horrible sure but it happened. The girl wasn't used to skipping classes but there were no papers due yet so a part of her felt like nothing bad could've come from missing anything right about now. Wearing a bit too casual clothes the girl was seated at the Gryffindor table, her eyes on her plate when her brother showed up and sat down beside her.
"Excuse me?" she asked a bit confused as her tired eyes looked at David who seemed furious. "What about him?" she asked and ate from her toast. "Wait did he say anything about me?" she asked with concern now and turned her body towards David as well. Her eyes were a bit wide as she did so and her hand clung onto the piece of toast.
"Did he bother you?" she asked and though she felt like she asked too many questions, David needed to answer to help get rid of her confusion.
David was furious because Charlie would never lie to him when it came to the Avery brothers. The girl was like his own personal spy, but maybe he had his doubts when Clarissa seemed very confused at to what he was talking about. The male had taken a quick glance around to see if the boy was nearby, and when he spotted that he wasn’t, he turned back to his sister with a sigh. He knew he needed to relax a bit before someone put their nose where it doesn’t belong. ”A little birdie told me that you were....and I quote “making lovey dovey eyes” at Greyson Avery in class the other day.” he said, trying to keep himself calm.
”Please tell me this is not true. I’m already worried about Olivia making a dumb mistake. I don’t need you to do it too.” he said, a little bit of concern in his voice. ”Do not date Avery, or even put any body part near him. You don’t know where he’s been.”

David's concern was sweet but Clary wanted to make her own choices, if they turned out to be mistakes she would deal with them. Still he seemed a bit calmer and that allowed her to speak to him on a normal level without the hostility that David brought to the table being mixed up in the conversation. Clary took a bite from her food and groaned before answering.
"Charlie spied on me? That's not nice." she said and frowned. "Okay I think he's hot but I am sure lots of girls do." she said with a shrug. "Look we kissed during spin the bottle and I felt good because ever since the break up I just felt like my world had fallen apart." she said with a sigh, dumping her food on her plate. She didn't like to worry her brother.
"I'll be careful, I promise." she said and bit her lip. "I just want to move on with my life and Greyson is a cool guy. I know you don't like the Avery's but how bad can they really be? I have a shit ton of siblings after all." she chuckled. "Besides I am not really looking to date.." she just wanted to experiment and see what she wanted with her life.
To David, the Avery’s were bad news but he shouldn’t judge them all, right? He knew Professor Mason was an Avery by blood but prefered her married name. Was she ashamed? Maybe. Or it’s because she wanted to honor her husband? David wasn’t going to ask the question to her because she was a busy woman who was trying to keep her kids from getting into trouble. He respected the woman and wasn’t going to judge her for any of it. There was a small sigh of relief when Clary said she wasn’t into dating. Thank goodness. But he had felt bad that her boyfriend had dropped everything suddenly.
”Well, Charlie didn’t have any choice. She was right there, in class. And it seemed like you were in love with him. Her words. Not mine. I apologize for freaking out on you like that.” he said softly as he glanced around the table with a tiny sigh. ”I’ll talk to Charle. One of these days she’s going to kill me.” he said as he looked at his sister, stealing a bacon from her plate.

Clary loved her big brother but sometimes she wished he just came to her before listening to what Charlie think she saw. Clary wasn't in love, sure Greyson was hot but so were many other students in this school. She wasn't going to just start dating the first hot guy she kissed, things didn't work like that. Clary eyed her brother with a slight frown. "It's okay, you were just worried big brother." she said and bumped his shoulder before picking up her food again. She would talk to Charlie and set the record straight later. "I'll tell Charlie what the real deal is as well." she said softly.
"Well she is the last one to judge about Avery's isn't she? Since she is practically dating one?" she said with a chuckle. "Though from what I heard that family is as screwed up as it gets. The little sister isn't even an actual sister. They're cousins." she shrugged. "And Cassidy isn't such a bad person either and she is technically an Avery..." she added hoping to change her brother's views on them all. "Don't you like Cassidy?" she asked him and took a bite from her food.
"I never do stupid things." she lied, sounding fake offended. "When do I ever?" she asked him with a small grin. "Come on what could happen? It's not like I will get my little heart broken."
David had stolen another slice of bacon off Clary’s plate when she spoke of the Avery’s and he frowned for a moment when she had mentioned that Charlie was dating one. Okay, maybe he shouldn’t be such an ass when it came to the Avery’s but he saw the boys as a problem. Perhaps it was because they were boys. Last thing David needed was for his sisters to end up getting pregnant by anyone. He didn’t want his sisters to get hurt. Thank goodness Clary saw that he was just being protective over them and nothing more. Sure, he still wanted to kill Greyson Avery.
”Okay, sure. I just don’t need one of my sisters getting pregnant with an Avery baby.” he said with a tiny frown. ”I don’t even think he’s clean. If you know what I mean.” he said and looked around for a quick moment.
”Yeah, I spoke to Cassidy a few times. Doesn’t seem like the boys at all.” he stated as he thought of the young girl. He had seen Cassidy hanging out with the Seeker a lot lately. ”Well, you gotta have a heart in order for someone to break it.” he teased.
