With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
Elijah had decided it was the perfect day to sit outside, and study because the biggest exams of his life was coming up. He had wanted this final year to be the year that he would take his studies seriously, and he was cramming in some last minute studying. He knew damn well his sister would judge him for it, which was why he had been hiding from her and staying outside to do some work. The DADA text book was in his lap while he chewed on his finger as he tried to remember some of the items he was reading, causing him to stress.
Usually he wouldn’t stress about the stuff, but this was his last year and he wanted to pass with good grades to make his mother and father proud. They were already stressing over what the twins would do after graduation, and he did not want to work in the muggle garage. He wanted an actual good job, something that paid well and maybe he’d do further study after his Hogwarts years was over.
The male let out a low grumble when someone stepped into his sun, and he had looked up with a frown. ”You’re in my light.” he had told his friend.

Being back in school was.. tough. Scarlett had to use a spell to stop herself from showing and it was just not easy in general. The brunette was walking and just tried to clear her own head a little as she did so. She had been thinking about her future and she knew her family was going to find out, she had to hide from Felix which made him suspicious but she didn't really care about that as much as she cared about the spell she used and professors not seeing through them.
Scarlett frowned when she heard complaining as she walked on the lawns and turned her attention to Elijah. "Oh I am not apologizing." she said and sat down beside him, bumping his shoulder.
Elijah let out a small huff of air when Scarlett had seated herself next to him, bumping his shoulder and he returned the favor, bumping hers gently. He had wondered what she planned on doing after graduating from this place. They had met there, and became good friends. She had helped him with the girl he liked, and he never really thanked her for that. It was rude of him, and he needed to figure it out how to make it up to her. So, he had closed his text book and set it aside while he looked at his friend. His eyes trained on her as he thought about what they had gone through.
”Studying actually.” he told his friend with a tiny smile and looked ahead for a moment. ”You know, I never thanked you for helping me with the bartender.” he said and sighed. ”How are you doing?”

Call the newspaper, Elijah Young was studying! Truth be told Scar always hoped he would graduate along with her but sometimes she worried he wouldn't make it. The boy was so passionate yet not really the type to study a lot. Yet here she was, watching him prove her wrong as he was actually studying. Soon they'd leave here and their future dreams would come to live, hopefully.
For now they were still here, being kids.
"Wow you study? Call me impressed." she teased and bumped his shoulder. "You are very welcome." she said and frowned when he asked how she was doing. "As well as I can be hiding.. this.." she motioned to her stomach.
”Ha, ha. You’re cute.” he said with a tiny smile when she had teased him because he was studying. His sister would also be impressed but in that moment he was hiding from his moody sister. Was Morgan not giving his sister what she wanted? He didn’t even want to know because honestly, he did not want to think of his sister and Morgan going at it like monkeys on batteries. The thought made him shudder for a moment when he looked at Scarlett, snapping out of his trance.
”Oh, yes. How are you feeling about that?” he asked, and eyed her stomach for a moment. He was surprised that she had found the time to get into bed with her boyfriend. ”How is...what’s his face doing with it all?”

Elijah was one of Scarlett's few real friends who she trusted with her secret. He was not going to tell her parents which was a blessing on its own in her eyes and just looked at him as he talked. "Of course I am cute but thank you for confirming that." she returned and looked at her hands for a moment. This pregnancy was going to be well hidden and once she gave birth she would let someone of the pack take care of the child. Sure she had no idea how yet, she wasn't even that far when it came down to it.
Teddy was right, she had to tell someone other than her closest friends but who was she going to trust with this information? What if the professors did tell her parents and she would find poison in her meals the next day? The brunette let out a small sigh. "I'm fine it's just.. you know my family. Well the bits I told you about them. If they find out I am as good as dead and Teddy will follow soon after." she told Elijah and made a face about it, she didn't like to think about it but it was reality.
"He seemed okay but I think he is also scared.." she sighed. "I know we made a mistake but what am I supposed to do? He was already talking to it.." she knew Teddy would be a great father. "He'll be a good father but would I even make a good mother? I am not the most loving person in this world.."
”Your family is not going to find out about this. And if they do, I’ll be there to help keep you safe.” Elijah said as he eyed his friend. The woman seemed afraid of what could happen if her parents found out, and sure, he heard horror stories but it couldn’t be that bad, right? The thought of a parent wanting their own child dead didn’t sound right to him. But he never knew Scarlett’s parents because he never met them and he never will. Or so he hoped. The thought of Teddy talking to Scarlett’s belly made the male chuckle.
”Not all women expect to be good mothers. But with some help and everything, I’m sure you won’t mess the kid up that bad.” he said, looking around after he spoke to double check if the coast was clear to talk about this.
