With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
Long time no speak, and I miss visiting you. Maybe we can hangout once school is over sometime.
School has been good. Holiday was better because I stayed at the castle because I knew damn well dad was going to show his face at mom's one way or another. I didn't want to face him after the letters went out to everyone that was into girls. He had sent me some hate for it but he deserves to know.
You missed quite a game before the break. Ravenclaw won. And I told my girlfriend I loved her for the first time and god I was embarrassed by it. But overall, things are looking up.
You didn't see the hate letters I got from him when I have sent the owls out about my sexuality. I'll send them to you so you can read it yourself. Trust me, they're horrible and I wanted to...do something stupid. I'm lucky to have Mavican by my side knowing that if she wasn't, I wouldn't be here.
I didn't let her. I was so embarrassed from it that I ran away after. I needed to go to the hospital wing because I took a bludger to my ankle. Trust me, that shit hurts when you're chasing the golden snitch around.
Anyway, how's the life out in the real world? Do you have a girlfriend yet?
These letters are horrid! I don't understand why he can be like this... it makes no sense to me and I will talk to mother about this and find a solution.
Well I am sure you both will figure it out! I am happy you found someone to love either way! I actually think I found a girl but it's not right... she is still in Hogwarts..
Besides that I like it here, I work at an animal shelter now too! We have tons of pets and I am having the best time! I don't have a girlfriend but.. yeah.
Dad's an ass, and I'm not afraid to even share it to the world. People deserve to know what he's like toward women. I'm surprised mom hadn't tried killing him yet to be honest. But hey, a few good things came out of that marriage and those are my big brothers that I love so much.
Now, who is this girl? Do I know her? I promise I won't stalk her, I just need to make sure Jonah doesn't get into her pants cause you know our brother loves to have women wrapped around his finger.
Or...well, yeah no not writing that.
I miss you. Hopefully they can free us soon. I need my fill of butterbeer.
Dad does bad things but I don't think that means he is a totally bad man. One day he will see the mistakes he made right? See that's what they are... mistakes? It doesn't justify what he did to you or mum and I think mum is now sleeping with a bat under her pillow.
You didn't hear that from me.
Her name is Darcy, she is very sweet and we had hot chocolate together in London. Honestly I might have given her the two way mirrors as a gift so we could talk? Is that bad? I mean friends to that right?
You poor poor soul for thinking Jonah wouldn't hop into Darcy's pants. It's Jonah and he loves his women. But I'll make sure he'll stay away from her.
The only Darcy I can think of is the one on the Hufflepuff Quidditch team with JONAH. She seems sweet.
Wait, you gave her two way mirrors and not me? I feel insulted right now.
Kidding. Seriously though, I might have to find her and borrow it so I can have a chat with my favorite brother. Anyway, yes friends do that for each other.
Once I'm free from this hellhole though, I want my goddamn butterbeer.
I knew I was missing something! Thanks bro for giving me my mirror. Now I can harass you and the others for care packages. Speaking of which, I'm almost out of my chocolates and I need more if I need to survive the rest of the school year.
I need to keep my energy up for the game against Hufflepuff later this year.
I need to prove to Jonah that he isn't the only Stevens that can show off on a broomstick.

@finn,
I promise not to tell him that you're routing for Ravenclaw this year. He'll feel betrayed. I'll let you know the outcome about the game cause I know they're still a little lame about letting outsiders into the school grounds.
These werewolf laws and drama is getting out of hand.
Well besides the the biggest Quidditch game of the season, I've been trying to focus on my studies so mom doesn't threaten to take the game away from me. So I'm trying to keep my grades up and not let some people distract me.
