With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Kaylie hadn't really spoken to Morgan ever since she punched her girlfriend for insulting her own. Did Kaylie need to do that to defend Alana's honor? For other people no, for herself, yes. Kaylie damn right had to do it and she didn't give a fuck of that Ryker bitch hated her forever for it. She deserved the punch that she got, no one insulted her girlfriend and got away with it like that. The blonde was on her bed, playing with a knife and drinking from a flask she stole.
The holiday people were coming home slowly and she knew that meant Morgan was gonna be back from wherever the fuck she went. Kaylie eyed the blade and thought about that moment where Alana drew her blood, drank from her neck. Kaylie rolled her eyes towards the door when she heard it open. The door was from heavy oak so of course it was quite loud.
Kaylie arched her brow as she eyed Morgan walk into the dorm and hummed. "Welcome back red." she said and took a gulp from the flask. Kaylie cocked her head a bit and hummed. "You look very christmassy.."
The holidays were a disaster for Morgan, and the gang because of what had happened at the cabin. The redhead was still feeling the pain she had been in because she was pretty much thrown from one end of the cabin to the other, hitting and destroying shelves as her body had hit the wall. It was an easy mess to clean up, but goddamn even with the help she received from her girlfriend and the others, she was still a little bruised up. At least she survived the holiday, but she was worried about how it affected her little brother. It looked like he didn’t want to be there in the first place, and she didn’t want this thing to scar him for life.
Sure, she had almost died because of Apollo Fitzgerald and his rage - his hatred toward Dallas Reid was through the roof and he had said that Peter Tyrell needed to leave. It seemed that Apollo was somewhat brainwashed by some Russian’s who were closing in on Peter’s whereabouts, but the other’s had handled him and even locked him up in the shed for him to cool off.
A groan had left her when she opened the doors of the dorm room, and dragged her trunk behind her. Her eyes flicked onto her roommate, and she let out a tiny hello as she tossed the trunk toward her bed, and by toss I mean slid it with her foot roughly. The redhead was still wearing her Christmas sweater she had bought herself.
The female had flopped down onto her bed with a loud groan and winced a bit. At least the bruises on her face was fading away. ”I feel dead.” she hissed and sat up for a moment to look at her roommate. Sure, Morgan was furious when Kaylie punched Ryker but to be fair, she didn’t blame her. If the roles were reversed, she would have punched Ryker too. ”How was your holiday?”

Truth be told she expected bitching, maybe even a smack with any item Morgan could toss at her and she would've deserved it. The blonde cocked her head to the side a bit as she watched Morgan drag her stuff into the dorm and her expression was beyond the expression of tired. Something was eating at her and Kaylie's curiosity needed to know more. Kaylie moved to sit up a bit, tossing the flask in her backpack before turning to Morgan.
"Dude nice shiner." she said at the bruises on Morgan's face. "Rough sex?" she added and smirked a bit before Morgan said she was feeling dead. "God she must be good then." Kaylie was highly convinced it was a sex bruise and it honestly was quite admirable. "It was fine, I spent most of it with my girlfriend and not the drunk bitch of a mother so you know.." she shrugged. "Can't complain." she added and held out the flask.
"You can use it more than I do apparently, what happened?"
”Oh, I wish this was the result of rough sex.” Morgan had told her friend as she sat up a bit to avoid lying on the side she was mostly bruised on. She was told to see the medical professional in the Hospital Wing if the pain got worse, but she was going to deal with this on her own. The last thing she needed was for people to actually find out what had happened over the holidays, and she didn’t trust this thing with the Ministry. The professors and such just knew she had went home for the holidays to spend it with family, and not a bunch of werewolves in a cabin.
The female had taken the flask from her friend, and smiled as she untwisted the cap, taking a large gulp. God, she needed that so bad. ”Apollo Fitzgerald happened.” she said, looking over her shoulder to check things. ”Went off the rails on us, and I happened to get in the way and well...I’ve always wanted to learn to fly without a broom.”

Truth be told Kaylie didn't care as much as people would think. She just felt slight sympathy for Morgan because in the years they went to this school together, they often were the only ones able to get along. Morgan was not so stuck up as the rest of the lot which said a lot being a bloody slytherin it seemed you'd have to have a stick up your ass these days to fit in. This didnt make Kaylie less curious about Morgan's bruises and just watched the girl suffer for a moment, okay maybe it wasn't a sex injury.
"Oof girl, you might want to take it easy with that stuff." she nodded at the flask. "Well you know they say the biggest painkiller is liquor so.." she shrugged and plopped down on her own bed again, pulling a bottle from her own trunk. "Might as well.." she didn't want to finish that sentence as she gulped from the bottle as soon as she opened it. "That bonehead got to you? In the years of being a wolf he still only thinks with his dick huh? Go figure." she scoffed.
"Well I'd say you succeeded with the flying lesson, pretty bad landing though." Kaylie leaned against the bedpost. "Did you tell the matron?"
Morgan didn’t care if she downed the liquor on her friend, knowing that the girl had some more hidden somewhere. Alcohol was much needed to get through most days at Hogwarts because half of the students and some professors just drove one over the edge to alcohol or even worse. Even if she’s only been back for about five minutes she had heard about some girl dying over break, but Morgan didn’t question it. As long as it wasn’t someone she cared about, she’d be fine. ”I miss the rum from the cabin. But unfortunately the bottle got destroyed…”
Morgan raised an eyebrow at her friend with a tiny groan and took another large gulp. ”It’s why I don’t play Quidditch...I can’t land…” she tried to joke and rolled her shoulders as Kaylie mentioned telling the matron. ”Nope. Last thing I need is for her to ask questions and then get my brother in trouble.”
