With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

HISTORY
2008 - Playing in the backyard with Gracie, Mam & Dad who produced bubbles and water from their wands for a rather magical day of water play.
2013 - the first year at Hogwarts was over and he'd only gotten into trouble with the Head Mistress about... three times? But this particular year was most memorable because the news of their close family friend, Teddy Lupin, had been attacked by a werewolf. This was when a crack in Arthur's childish naivety first appeared.
2016 - the werewolf attack at Hogwarts shook young Arthur, now in his fourth year. He momentarily considered giving everyone a break from his playful antics... but decided that no, clearly he was hilarious and the world needed more fun in their lives.
2018 - Arthur begins his last year at Hogwarts and his overprotective nature kicks up a notch because he worries for the next year where Gracie will be all by herself. When he finds out about anyone upsetting Gracie, he makes them pay.
Alicia could always pick the athletes from the fun flyers. Even in the professional world of Quidditch, some people had wasted talent for example. Those people were scouted, recruited, maybe lasted a season or two before being put aside for the next, newer talent. Only those that put effort into their talent lasted the distance... became true stars. Not to sound up herself, but that was what Alicia had done - it had taken a substantial amount of effort for Wood, all those many years ago, to accept Alicia onto the team and she'd never taken it for granted.
Decades later, Alicia's critical eye fell on the senior students with her no nonsense gaze and took stock of the three that got straight to business. Kallenbach was off into the sky almost as soon as the words were out of her mouth - this was a good sign; though she noted that the boy put a little too much effort into his look. If he were to join the ranks of professional Quidditch, Alicia could tell he'd become a heart-throb teen star much like Viktor had been back in her time.
Next her eyes fell upon the pair of Gryffindors; a softness crossed the Coach's face as she nodded almost encouragingly towards Leo. She'd known him since he were knee-high to a house-elf - Merlin isn't that a sentence to make a woman feel every single second of her four decades on Earth? She noted the chatter amongst the two students, though lucky for them she hadn't had any audiunt miniscula potion so didn't overhear the particulars. Leo had a broom that was popular with the Americans and the curly haired Delgado had a school broom that had been around since she'd attended. As a member of the Gryffindor team, Alicia tucked that nugget of knowledge away in her mind. Perhaps if her divorce loomed with her lawyer husband out for every penny - or galleon, as their household was a mix of magical and non-magical - she'd make sure there was nothing left for him to take. Starting with a good broom for this kid.
Alicia cast a sonorus charm so that those in the air could hear her and she did not have to unduly yell; her voice was loud and demanding naturally, but she was contending with the speed they were doing their laps and the wind. "KALLENBACH if DELGADO can catch you on THAT broom you're not pushing hard enough!" Alicia watched as Leo lagged horribly behind. "JORDAN, my grandma can ride faster than that!" Alicia shook her head and hoped that spurred the three of them on to greater speed.
As the others took to the skies, Alicia turned to the equipment that she had piled in the middle of the pitch. With her wand much like an orchestra conductor, Alicia began to charm the various pieces into the sky. There were seven wooden rings; 3 were large and would comfortably fit two students on brooms flying through at one time. Two were smaller still, only large enough to fit one student comfortably and then final two would test the student's spatial awareness for sure as they'd only fit through these two rings if they laid tightly down on their broom. These were randomly distributed at different heights and interspersed with several cone markers and three flurescent orange rods.
It was an obstacle course that would test their abilities. She'd explain what the students needed to do when they'd finished their rounds.
