With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
Jedrek wanted to be alone, he was stressing so much that day and he didn't know why. His siblings were off doing something that he either didn't know or didn't want to know. His friends were off doing their own thing and that left him alone to do nothing. For some reason he was highly stressed and he didn't know why. He walked up to the seventh floor to go to the room of requirement. He had found it last year and he didn't mean to find it but it just came to him in a time of need. Jed didn't mind or care at all because it was a place he could go to keep his mind off stuff and that was fine with him. As he got to the place where the room of requirement was at, the door just appeared. Jed smiled before walking in and briefly watched as the door disappeared. He looked around and saw he was alone in there and that was fine with him, he thought of a comfortable scenery and the scenery changed to a comfortable living room set with couches, big comfy chairs, a rug, etc. Jed sat on the one couch with his feet up so he was laying on his back, his eyes began to close listening to the fire place crackle.

Despite knowing that the Room of Requirement existed - and she obviously did know it was a thing, she'd hosted a wee party in there with Elena a few months back - it was rare that Vi actually went and visited the room. She didn't know why but it just never went poppity pop in her brain as an idea. Maybe it was because in empty classrooms, you ran the risk of bumping into someone and Vi actually liked that because usually it was somebody she didn't quite expect. She loved meeting new people, and making new friends. Apart from singing, playing guitar, painting and kissing... it was her favourite thing to do.
As the door opened to the Room of Requirement after Vi did the usual walking past it three times, her eyes lit up because... "Golly golly gumdrops, isn't this a sight to behold?" She was talking to herself, raving about how pretty the room was, before she caught sight of the boy sitting on a plushy couch. Practically bouncing over, Vi planted herself on the arm of the couch. "Hiya! Jedrek, right? I think we have a few - well, I mean, most classes together, right? I take Divination and Muggle Studies as an elective. Which ones do you take again?"
Jed was a little stunned when someone had come and joined him, he didn't mind the company, he didn't know until he seen the blonde that he kind of craved the company before him. He was kind of stunned when she knew his name, he had to think of her name, he knew it was something with a V but wasn't sure exactly. "Yes it's Jedrek, um and you're Violet? Sorry I am better at faces then names" Jed apologized because he knew deep down he probably got her name dead wrong. When she asked what electives he took, he grinned. "I take Care of Magical Creatures and Divination as an elective, so I know I see you in that class" Jed laughed. "So what brings you here?" Jed asked curious.

"We shared classes when I was in second and you were in first year, then this year since you're in third and I'm in fourth," Vi explained brightly, gesticulating as she spoke because he look so surprised that she actually knew his name. Hopefully now it all made sense though."
"Viola. But people call me Vi pretty much 24/7 'cause Viola's a bit of a mouthful, I suppose? Vi's quick and easy," she explained easily, shrugging. It didn't bother her in the slightest that he hadn't gotten her name right on the first go because it was just so rare that anyone called her by her full name.
Vi shot Jedrek a smile as he shared what classes he was taking, before tackling his question of what 'brought her here.' "Just a wee bit bored, y'know? Tryna find something exciting to do." She wiggled her eyebrows, her grin widening. "Know anything fun I could do?"
It made sense that the two shared classes with them being so close in age but her being a year older then him. He didn't mind though, she seemed like a nice enough person. "Well it's good to see you outside of classes then" Jed replied. He didn't really talk much in classes because he liked to learn more then talk. When she corrected her name he felt guilty. "Sorry Viola, I did get the V right though so that says something" he couldn't help but laugh a little. He at least tried when it came to her name, he could have simply said 'No name' but that seemed rude. "You can hang out with me? I am not that fun but we could find something to do that is" Jed suggested.

"It's dandy to see you too," Vi replied brightly to Jedrek, grinning. It was always nice to get to know people outside of class - they were often so different, they were just... overall, less studious and focused on getting house points. They tended to be more relaxed and Vi liked that, given her permanent state of living was almost always relaxed.
He had tried to remember her name and for that, she gave him credit. "Ten points to Hufflepuff," she joked before laughing, quickly tacking on, "just kidding, I can't actually give out house points... if I could, all the super duper cutie patooties like you would just be earning points for smiling at me." Her words were flirtatious as she spoke this time and she wondered... would he even pick up on it?
Nodding at his suggestion of hanging out, Vi hummed brightly before asking, "So, what do you like to do? Besides sitting in front of a fireplace and doing nothing?"
