With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Matthew was trying to find the golden snitch there now. He just wanted to end this game already since he noticed another bludger coming his way from corner of his eyes. That girl had to stop doing that already. Seemed like she really wanted him out out of the game. So now he know he needs to also look out for bludgers and same for snitch. This will be super difficult for sure. He just did his best once again to dodge the bludger again. It was not yet time to be out of the game, it had even barely even started yet. He hadn't really noticed what his team mates are doing. He has been too busy dodging bludgers and finding snitch.
Levi was excited for this game, he was hyped up and was glad to be playing against Ravenclaw, sometimes he hated playing Hufflepuff since his twin is on that team but it made trying to win even better since he could rub it in her face a little. He loved her but when they stepped onto the Quidditch field it was all about winning for him. He walked onto the field with his other team mates and flew up to his keeper post. He watched the game around him, he was ready for anything and everything that came his way. When the Ravenclaw player named Wolfgang was ready to throw and eventually threw the quaffle, he rushed to the third hoop and hit it away and into the direction of his fellow play mate Matheus.

I've got someone else for that. Wolfgang's words had Matheus giving him a carefree shrug because rejection? No biggie. He hit on so many people so often that it was... well, it was pretty much a given really. But what did bother him was how fast Wolfgang's broom sped up. He'd heard time and time again from others that it didn't matter how good your broom was, so long as you knew how to use it but those were empty words when you were stuck riding a school broom. No matter how much he tried, his broom would never go faster than the expensive one that Wolfgang rode.
Following up straight behind Wolfgang, Matheus tried his damnedest to catch up and block him somehow but then the quaffle was thrown and... thankfully, Levi caught it before throwing it straight towards him. Catching it, Matheus sped straight towards the other side of the pitch, zooming straight towards the Ravenclaw goal posts where he took his shot.
all i really want is to be wonderful/people in this town, they can be so cruel

It was lucky that Isobel's favorite color was blue, because while all her official school things were Slytherin green, she needed to wrap a blue scarf around her neck today. It shouldn't be that strange, she thought, no self-respecting Slytherin would cheer on Gryffindor without a good reason, and she certainly didn't have one. There hadn't been a spot for Evie on the team this year. Isobel, of course, had another reason for the color she wore: Wolfgang. But it was unlikely that her Housemates would tease her for supporting Ravenclaw later, which she thought was a bonus.
The scarf she chose was thin, but because it was made of warm--and magically enhanced--wool, there was no worry of freezing while wearing it, no matter how cold it was out on the Quidditch pitch. Isobel had gone to the game alone, something she would never normally do--the thought of sitting alone while everyone else chattered with friends around her seemed utterly miserable most of the time. But this time, she wanted no questions. Only to watch, and cheer. If someone came by, she wouldn't argue, but her eyes would be on Wolfgang. She had never really watched him before on the pitch. Of course she had seen him; she had been to most of the games in her years at school, but before, he had always been just another member of the Ravenclaw team.
Now, though, it was different.
She watched with bated breath as Wolfgang was the first to grab the Quaffle, but had to let it out in a sigh when the Gryffindor Keeper blocked the shot. They were good--really good. Come on, Wolfgang, she thought, wrapping her hands in the ends of her scarf. Steal it! Do something!
Ari had been watching everything from the goalposts and had watched as Matthew had dodged the bludger. It caused her to shake her head because that meant they were just as behind with winning. Hoping one of these times Mavican could get him out. Even if she loved him, but she wanted to win and make herself proud. When she saw Wolfgang try and get a goal, but blocked by the keeper. She rolled her eyes, "Dammit." she muttered under her breath. They had to win, because it would look bad if both Narro siblings lost. Even if Ari wanted to believe that she was better as her brother and she was going to do rounds about him if they verse each other when the time came.
Putting her focus back into the game, Ari looked around and soon saw one of the chasers coming her way. Giving him a glare, and when he threw the quaffle, the witch flew and caught it. Giving him a smirk, "Nice try, maybe next time." a charming smirk came across her face. Holding the quaffle in her hands, the witch threw the quaffle to closest chaser hoping just that they could get them a goal.

"Good save, Ari," Emil called out as he flew toward the goalposts, ready to catch the Quaffle as soon as the Keeper put it back into play. Ari might be small, but she was fast on a broom. Wolfgang and their other Chaser were already down the pitch waiting, and Emil watched the red ball as it arced through the air toward him, catching it and tucking it under his arm. He headed back for Gryffindor's goalposts, dodging a Bludger near the middle of the pitch that seemed to be doing whatever it wanted, and he just hoped Mavican was nearby to hit it out of their way before it decided to target him or the other Chasers. The leg that had been broken at the ball had been healed up nicely by the hospital matron, but it still felt a bit unsteady, and he didn't need any Bludgers smashing into his leg to make it worse. He didn't need his legs to ride a broom, sure, but he did need to not be in pain.
Thankfully, he made it across the pitch safely, weaving through other players to get up near the goalposts. He hovered right outside the scoring area, making sure one of the others could go inside it if they needed to. Holding up the Quaffle, he mimed throwing it first to Wolfgang and then to the other Chaser, hoping to get the Gryffindors distracted before he threw in a shot. When he thought he might have feinted enough, he tossed the ball hard at the right-hand hoop.
Levi was watching the game going on around him, he was hoping that his team won, he was itching to win so that he could at least know that he had a victory on his shoulders. Plus it would be nice to share with his sister who was probably in the audience but he wasn't sure and he had a game to keep an eye on. Levi heard a noise in his ear and when he turned to look he seen the golden snitch. Levi looked for Matthew but from the corner of his eye he saw the other team's player Emil throwing the quaffle towards one of his hoops. Levi tried, he really did but with the snitch showing up and looking for Matthew, he couldn't get to the right hoop fast enough and the quaffle went through. He groaned. "Damnit" he said under his breath. Levi spotted Matthew and saw the snitch still where he saw it in the spot he just left.
"Matthew! Catch the damn snitch already!" He wanted to win this game.
Mavican didn't miss often and when she did it was only making her more angry. She knew that this boy couldn't dodge her bludgers forever and she kissed her bat before flying for it and hitting one towards their seeker again and when Ryker hit one towards one of her chasers she hit the bludger away from them and towards that seeker of theirs. Try avoiding that you butthead, she thought to herself before noticing they scored.
"That's the way to do it!" she shouted in a cheer and gave one of their players a wink before flying off ready to hit another bludger.

NOTES: Ryker is my char so I npced her in this post, two bludgers are aimed at the gryffindor seeker, go Ravenclaw!
"Levi tried, he really did but with the snitch showing up and looking for Matthew, he couldn't get to the right hoop fast enough and the quaffle went through." from @levi,
10 - 0 for Ravenclaw!
Two bludgers are headed for @matthew, he has until august 9th 2 pm to respond.
Another reminder to read the first post as it has details about the weather conditions, the snitch and feel free to dm a staffer.
Matthew was flying in the air and trying to locate that snitch there now. He knew it was only way to win this game probably by now. The boy noticed how Ravenclaw's go the points by getting goal since Levi didn't manage dodge it away from the goal. Matt heard what levi shouted to him now there. He had no clue if he should reply or not. "I'm trying, Levi. Haven't yet seen it flying around been busy with bludgers instead," he shouted back to Levi. He didn't even noticed another bludger coming his way. He was bit busy flying around and well trying to find the snitch for now.
He hoped to spot the snitch soon but then again he had never know if he even can catch it.
@matthew got hit hard by the two bludgers, sending him down hard. (You can rp this out!)
Due to lack of responses and multiple tags Matthew is out of the game. The bludgers are back up in the air and the game is still going. The crowd is free to respond to this as well as professors, players and teammates.
(please remember this is all by the roll of the dice and not a pre made decision.)
The bludgers went straight for Matthew and Ryker sped off as fast as she could but by the time she got there her bat just hit the tip of the bludger, not able to stop it completely and her bat hit herself in the gut as she almost dropped it.
"Fuck!" she grumbled. This wasn't good. She looked around for Elijah and the Ravenclaw seeker. What they can do, she can do too. "Wanna play dirty you little bitch. You'll get dirty." she hissed and waved her brother over, coughing as she did so.
"Someone help Matt, I am going after my own target." she shouted to some of the chasers, Mat and Leo for sure before rushing to hit a bludger at Casey. "Eli take the other!" she shouted.

Yes! Emil grinned as he flew away from the Gryffindor goalposts, excited to get on the scoreboard. He was so glad he'd taken the chance to learn to fly when he arrived at Hogwarts--Quidditch was more fun than any football match, even if it was far more dangerous. Hovering in the center of the pitch, he kept watch on the other team's Keeper and Chasers, knowing Levi was going to send the Quaffle back into play at any moment. It was then that he heard a loud thunk from the side, and his head whipped around to see Gryffindor's Seeker knocked straight off his broom by two Bludgers at once. Emil winced, knowing how much that must have hurt--he'd been hit a few times in his time on the Ravenclaw team. He was torn between going to check on the other boy or rejoicing that their chances of making the championship game were that much higher. To win the Quidditch Cup in his final year would be amazing.
He glanced around at the rest of the team, judging their reactions, and then down, seeing if the hospital wing matron was on her way. Hanging in the air, his eyes flicked between them, trying to decide if he needed to go help. But then he heard the other team's Beaters shouting, pulling his head back into the game. "Casey, watch out!" he said, flying closer to the Seeker. "They want you out next!"
