With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
Garrett was in the North Wing for most of the day doing some reading on the collection books that he had managed to collect. Because he was dead set on getting through the collection that he had found. It had been something that he also found relaxing, and when he read outside of his common room it often felt much better. So he had been sitting with his feet up reading his book. It was something that definitely was relaxing for the Ravenclaw and he wanted to enjoy it.
But he was soon interrupted by footsteps, that caused him to roll his eyes, because it was not his first pick. So he decided to call when the footsteps grew nearer, "This place is reserved, so if you are willing to be quiet. Than you are more than welcome to come in." he said in annoyed tone. Not caring if he pissed anyone off, but he didn't feel like being distracted from his reading, because he knew he wouldn't finish.
Although if there was bad response, he probably deserved it.
Charlie had found herself wandering around Hogwarts, her brain being scattered and she wanted to find a place where she can sketch. She needed to relax her overthinking brain, and she needed a quiet place. Perhaps she should’ve asked her sister if she can sit around and sketch her doing her thing but instead she needed to walk around. So she had found herself in the North Wing of the castle, her art bag hanging off her shoulder as she wanted to find a place. Yes, she had a bag for her art supplies because she didn’t want to carry it in her book bag. Didn’t want something to leak.
As she got closer, Charlie had heard her adopted brother’s voice, and she let out a small groan of annoyance. He can be a damn jerk at times, and she would happily state it whenever he’s being one. ”You really gotta be a jerk, huh?” she said, flopping down in a chair near him and placed her bag on the floor beside her.
”Don’t worry. I came here to do some sketching. Don’t worry, I won’t sketch you. You’re too ugly to get on parchment.”
Garrett was not one to be a jerk to people, even if he could rather arrogant but he knew that some places were reserved for kids who had wanted some peace and quiet. And when the response he got had come with the voice of his adopted sister, and he gave a smile. "Oh I'm sorry if I made you mad. But people can be incredibly rude you know, and it's reserved for a place where people go to study. But you should have kept your voice down." he said putting his book down and giving his sister a smirk, and he knew it would piss her off. But it was his sister, so not much could really be done with him being a prat to his sister.
Her words hit him hard and he gave a smirk,"Aw you wouldn't want you smart history buff brother to draw. I could definitely fit having a portrait like the British monarchs had." he said with a smirk. He thought he'd make a fine king if he was one and he definitely thought the kings were always good-looking in their portraits, "And it's not like your face is all that good, either, but your lucky your my sister." he said giving her a shrug. Hoping that he didn't piss his sister off more, than again it didn't hurt to make her mad, "But feel free to sketch."he said with a smile.

Ah, siblings. Charlie sometimes wished she was an only child but what’s the fun in that? The female knew her brother meant well, and he wasn’t the biggest jerk on the planet. If he was, she’d let him hear it every goddamn day for the rest of his life, but no.Today was just another day of some banter between the siblings, and the smirk he had on his face had pissed off entirely but she had bitten her tongue. The area they were seated in was reserved for students who wanted peace and quiet after all. So, instead of biting back, she had leaned back in her seat and grabbed her sketchbook, along with the things she needed.
”I did draw you once when you were nodding off at home in a chair. I even added the drool. Might give it to the professors to hangup in their office or something.” she said as she had gotten to work on doing a sketch, and maybe, just maybe she was drawing her brother in that moment.
