With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

In the dark corner of The Leaky Cauldron, Auror Donovan Stevens sat, sipping a nonalcoholic beverage and reading the latest Daily Prophet. The male had been working day and light enforcing the wizarding laws around their world. It was rare to have a moment off, and even though he would rather spend it with his girlfriend, he knew she was busy teaching Potions class. He respected that she had been working hard, keeping herself from getting into trouble with her family business. There was no way he’d allow her to get her hands dirty on his watch, and she knew he took his job seriously. He wouldn’t turn a blind eye for her even if he loved her. Though the moment he had arrested a Tyrell worker, he knew her father would be making a huge deal about it to his daughter some time soon.
A sigh escaped the male as he heard some ruckus nearby, causing him to put his paper down and leaned out to get a view of the table. Someone had too much to drink it seemed even though it was around lunch hour. It took him a moment before he stood up, putting his cup down and headed straight for the bar. ”What seems to be the problem?” he had asked, eyeing the male and female arguing at the bar.
Perhaps he was interrupting a lovers quarrel. Fantastic.
Riley had decided that he would take his little sister out for a few drinks, and actually help her get over her boyfriend. Because she was going back down the path of getting involved with guys. And he found a few letters that were written between her and ex. So he hoped them going out to get a drink would help her. All he wanted was for his siblings to do the right thing and try to follow the right example. He was their only role model who actually gave a shit about them. Sure his older sister, but Riley had spent so much of his life trying to be the father figure.
He had been sitting at a table that his sister and him decided to sit at for the night and he thought he'd let his go and get a drink. Hoping that she would no overdo the drinking. Because he didn't feel like dealing with an a drunken eighteen year old. And he didn't want his sister going off with some random guy for the night. Riley watched his sister from the table just hoping he wouldn't have to punch a guy for advancing on his sister and her leaving him to pick her shit up.
After about ten minutes, Riley was soon met with dismay. When he saw his sister downing her fourth shot. Then he saw a random attractive guy going up to his sister and talking to her. This angered him, but he thought he'd stay back and see if she did the smart the thing. She didn't need a bad guy in her life trying to make things worse for her. But after fifteen minutes of sitting back, Riley got tired of it. The man had walked right up to the bar where they had been sitting. "That's enough I think, buddy. Leave my sister alone." the twenty-four year old sneered. And the guy had looked at him with a smirk. "We were just having a conversation, chill and if I admit your sister is attractive." he said giving her a smirk. Riley got close to him, "I said leave her alone. Or maybe you're asking for your face to be pounded in the ground. Because I can arrange that." Riley looked and his sister looked at him. "Riley! What's your problem." she shouted back at him. His sister turned to the guy, "I'll meet you in a little bit outside the bar. Let me deal with my brother." she said with a smile before turning back to give Riley a stare. The guy got up and he gave her a smile, "See you in a bit gorgeous." he said before getting up and whispering to Riley, "You know overprotective brothers don't get very far, you know." he said before walking out of the bar.
Riley rolled his eyes a the guy before turning back to his sister, "You trying to screw up your life more? I thought you said no more one night stands, because I don't intend fixing up your mess tonight." he asked with concern and she rolled her eyes, "Riley you're a goddamn asshole, and I bet if you found a girl you'd take her home for the night." she argued back and he could smell the alcohol on her breath. His sister turned back to the bartender and she said. "Could I have another shot, please." and the bartender nodded, and Riley looked. "You had enough, I think. Could you please cut my sister off for the night." he said giving her a look. The bartender looked at his sister, "He has a point." and he walked away and his sister gave him a look, "Screw you, and I can see why Toby hates you." she shouted and he said. "Didn't know giving a shit was a bad thing, and if you leave. You can find someplace else to stay." he shouted at his sister not caring if she pissed her off.
His sister shouted back at him, "Well staying with you for one more night would be revolting." she shouted. But before anyone could say anything else the two had been interrupted by a man asking what the problem had been and his sister said. "My brother's is an overprotective asshole, and I was just leaving." she said giving him a glare. Riley shook his head at his sister, and he said. "No I'm not overprotective, my sister just needs to stop flirting with random guys. When she's trying to get over a bad relationship, and if you leave, I'm not picking your mess up." he said giving her a look as his little sister walked away, "Screw you Riley."

Okay, so what Donovan had gathered - this wasn’t a lover's quarrel. Instead, it was a sibling argument he was not so familiar with because the male only had one sister, and she was in a relationship with a girl at school so he wouldn’t have to worry about a situation like this. This was beyond something he could actually help with unless it got violent, and he was ready for a punch or something to be thrown toward the brother’s direction from the girl. Instead, she had walked away, getting the last word in and Donovan had ran a hand over his own face, letting out a sigh as the dust had settled. He wanted to make sure this guy didn’t do anything stupid.
”I feel like your sister is going to be the death of you one day.” he commented, letting out a tiny chuckle. ”I’m sorry for interrupting when I did. Just you guys were being a little loud. Didn’t want a bar fight to break out on my watch.” he had said, looking around the area as people had started to get back to their own business.
Riley knew that he was a special case with never leaving his siblings out in the dry due him wanting to make his dad proud. He just shook his head watching his little sister exist, and turning his attention back to the guy letting out a chuckle, "My brother is worse, they both are going to be the death of me." he said shaking his head. Turning around at the people who were looking at him, and gave a smile. Before turning his attention back to the guy, and he said. "Don't worry about it. I could have used the help, but clearly my sister doesn't know how to take it easy." he said he shook his head, he didn't feel like having to fix every problem his siblings have.
"She's twenty years old, and is just getting over an abusive relationship, and yet she still doesn't learn." he said shaking his head. Then he realized that he should introduce himself, "I'm Riley by the way." he said extending his hand in greeting.

Donovan had a few fights with his brothers in the past, and it would sometimes end up in the backyard to throw punches at each other. But he would never share that with a stranger, and the last thing he wanted was to put an idea into this guy’s head. Donovan didn’t like violence, and he wouldn’t condone it anymore. There was no way in hell he would let someone get into a fight in front of him and let it happen, nope. So when the male had watched the girl leave, he looked at the male beside him with a small smile as he heard the story as to why she was going it. ”Understandable that you want to make sure she stays out of trouble.” he had said, and looked toward the bar as the bartender looked at him. ”Another tea…” he had said, earning a nod from the guy behind the bar.
It was then the other male had introduced himself and he had shook his hand gladly. ”Name’s Donovan.” he said with a polite smile.
