With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
Parker honestly thought it was going to be another normal Saturday for her, and she'd walk around the Castle plotting mayhem. She thought she was going to have a stress free day, not worrying about her family like she's been and going about her day. But she wasn't expecting to get a letter when she got up to the owlery that day, no. But she had, and she was moving forward to the Dungeons as if her hair was on fire, her breathing heavy as she carried the letter in her hand toward her sister's classroom. Oh, she hoped she was there because Ozzy won't help this issue any.
The breathing just got heavier when she reached the doors, pushing open the doors and headed straight for her sister's office. She was beyond freaked out, and she didn't know what to do besides panic.
"He's alive?!" she shouted, tears rolling down her cheeks. She can feel a panic attack coming on. "He said he wrote you a week or two ago! And you...."

And while you are sitting indoors waiting for the storm to pass I will be outside dancing in the rain
❧
Ariella just had gotten the news her brother was alive and finally just got an answer from father. She did remind Peter he had to tell Parker himself but of course teenage brains could only take so much so when someone stormed into the classroom without knocking it could only be her sister.
Parker was shouting, big surprise and Ariella just calmly put the paperwork down on her desk before turning her attention to her sister, shouting at her like she was five years old. Ariella rarely showed she gave a damn because usually she really didn't but the best way for Parker to calm the hell down was a hug.
So Ariella walked around her desk and pulled her sister in a hug without saying a word. She just sighed and rested her chin on her sister's head. "I was shocked too, and pissed." she admitted and shrugged.
"I told him to write you himself because you deserved to hear it from him." Ariella said softly and ran a hand through Parker's hair.
One thing about Parker, if she panicked enough, she’d do something stupid and every Tyrell knew that wouldn’t end well for the Hufflepuff girl. For some reason, she was furious with her sister for not telling her, and instead kept this secret. Did their father know? She wanted to ask but instead she was pulled into a hug by her sister, and she had started to calm down quickly. These hugs were rare, and after what she had found out that Peter Tyrell was alive, and well apparently, she needed it. She needed to calm down, to make sense of this because, she didn’t understand why he didn’t want to come home. Come back to them.
There was a tiny whine from her as she listened to her sister and she just hugged her sister back, trying to get her mind to relax but she had so many questions. ”Does Father know?” she asked softly, she needed to know if their father was going to stop destroying himself with this alcohol abuse.
”I just can’t believe this is happening.” she mumbled. ”Do you know where he is?”
