With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
Ciar wasn’t going to lie; Casey had her moments when he’d want to strangle her but that’s what siblings do. They annoy each other, get on the other’s nerves but in the end they were there for each other. Ciar wasn’t going anywhere, and he was always a letter away if she ever needed her big brother. Sure, there were a few others that would drop things to be by her side, but he was willing to kill. ”I’m lucky to have her. She’s pretty amazing, and she plays the very sport I played in school.” he said.
Cleo was glad that the man in front of her at least knew the decency of family, not a lot of people can actually say that they know what family is and how strong the bond is. Cleo could tell that he was very proud of his sister from the way that he spoke about her playing the same exact sport that he plays in her school years. "Oh that is definitely beyond exciting, what position does your sister play if you don't mind my asking?" She asked kind of curious. Cleo didn't really play sports but doesn't mean she doesn't watch them from time to time.
Truth be told, his sister was the heart of the family and he respected that she was doing what she wanted with her life. She wasn’t one to let their father push her around, and he knew he had to be there for her. He was a proud brother, and he continued to be proud of her. There was no way Casey Stevens can upset any single one of her brothers, or mother. They all supported her. They all wanted what was best for her. ”She plays as the Seeker for her house team.” he said, smiling a bit more.
Cleo could tell by the look on Ciar's face that he was definitely a proud older brother and that was always a good thing to have. She knew that look on a sibling's face when they were proud of their loved ones, it was always amazing to see from others. Cleo found an item and it simply stood out to her and she smiled. "Well I am glad she is doing something she loves, maybe she'll become a professional Quidditch star? I really wish her the best along with you. I see an item I think my cousin will like so I am going to head out. Thank you Ciar for the company and the talk, I wish you and your family the best and believe me, don't take them for granted" Cleo gave some advice before picking up the item she liked and going to the counter. After paying for it she turned to Ciar and gave a polite smile and wave before leaving the store with her bag in hand.
Ciar was indeed a proud big brother, and would love to attend the Hogwarts games if he could. But with how things are going in the wizarding world, he knew that it was impossible to attend them at this current time. He was going to make sure there were scouts attending her games in the future, and maybe one day she will play next to him and their other brother. ”I hope so.” he commented as she mentioned that she saw an item and was going to get going. ”Thank you. And I won’t, I promise.” he said as he looked at his watch noticing the time and hummed as he had some time to spare to shop.
He was going to write his sister and brother a letter about that day.
