With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Did Rose believe in being more than the reputation of her parents? Yes. She had been fighting those feelings and thoughts since she was a little girl and was told about how much of a big deal her parents are to this school, to the magical world. It was insane and she was a firm believer that most of it wasn't real. Riding a dragon? Yeah right, definitely not made up.
"No one means to trip Roxanne, no matter what, it just happens and you got to deal with that." she said a bit shortly and just sat down waiting for her hot chocolate. Honestly, Rose was on edge for a while now and she didn't mean to take it out on her kind cousin. She then started talking about brainless boys and her father which made Rose arch her brow. "Pfft, my mother complains all the time about how stupid my father was in school." she scoffed. "Can't believe I am his product... it did give me these beautiful locks." She said and ran a hand through her red hair.
"Because you need to believe more in what you can do right rather than do wrong." she said softly. "You are not just a Weasley, you have your mother's blood too and I heard your mother was a legend as much as your father." she said and smiled. "I mean imagine me being only Weasley, the horror." Truth be told Rose didn't hate her Weasley genes but she was glad she had most of her mother's genepool. She had the brains and thankfully the looks.
With a resolute expression, Roxanne took a deep breath and nodded. "Right. It happened and nobody caught us, so it's alright." Glancing over at the stove where the house-elves were working, she bit her lip when she quickly realized the milk and water still had plenty of time before they boiled. If she had a mug to occupy her hands with, she'd feel better. Instead, she reached up to touch her own hair, wrapping one of the curls around her finger. "I got my mum's hair instead," she murmured. Unlike most of the Weasley family, Roxanne and her brother didn't get the red locks, making them look quite different from many of the cousins.
Maybe she should be grateful for it? That she looked more like her mother? Roxanne liked the curls, even if it sometimes felt like she had to put more effort into her hair than the girls who just rolled out of bed and brushed theirs. And her mum was pretty tough--had played Quidditch, raised the two of them, worked at two different shops in Diagon Alley just because she wanted to, not because they even needed the money.
But Roxanne wasn't like that either. She was just--herself. Had big dreams, but mostly ones that she kept to herself. "I like that thought. That we're not only Weasley. But I feel like I'm not like either of my parents."
With a sigh, she abandoned the thought there, standing on one foot to look at her sock. "No, I think it's fine. It's pretty thick." It was good to be cozy--she couldn't wait until she could have hot chocolate with it too.

No point in dwelling over what could have been. Her mother always told her that. The redhead let out a small sigh as she waited for the hot chocolate, sometimes patience wasn't on her side, especially now. The girl licked her lips and just eyed her cousin who was talking. She was hard on Roxanne but only because something inside her was raging and she didn't want to say anything about it.
If Rose had pride in one thing, it was her red locks. "I have my mother's curls, the red color is more intense than with most of my cousins but that's because I give it proper treatments." she said and flipped a lock out of the way. As Roxanne said she wasn't like her parents Rose nodded. That was obvious but that didn't make her less of a person.
"Who says you need to be like them? Would you want to be in trouble like your father all the time? Or have the pressure of an athlete? Or would you rather be known because of your own skills?" she asked and cocked her head to the side a bit. "Honestly you shouldn't want to be another copy of them, you should want to be you." she said and shrugged.
Rose waited for the drink with less patience every single minute. "Mmm they could hurry with the drink before it's morning." she had impatience in her tone.
