With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Rose felt the weight of the world on her shoulders sometimes. The world being big fans of her mother and father's past. They were equal to heroes and often the same was expected from Rose but she didn't feel like that was truly her. The redhead walked into the teashop hoping she'd get a peace of mind there and hummed as she opened the door like the little model she is. She was wearing five inch heels, her red shorts and white top made her red hair pop like candy and her red painted lips were pursed as she entered the shop.
Rose went to find a seat for herself, not really having anyone with her because she liked being alone and took a seat, crossing one leg over the other. Her eyes flicked towards the lady who owned the shop and took the menu. "A nice cup of surprise me with some sugar and make the tea look red yes?" she asked with a smile before handing the lady the menu and watch her walk off. Rose rolled her eyes and sat back, now she just waited for her tea.
Frankie had been hanging out with her friends in Hogsmeade that day, laughing for the first time in a long time. After her brother's death, she was a ghost. She rarely spoken to people around her, and kept to herself while she wrote letters to her adopted family to plan the funeral of her brother. But it's been two weeks since she arrived back at Hogwarts ready to face life without him there. There were times when she'd start crying cause something would remind her of him but she would quickly wipe the tears away because crying wasn't going to get her anywhere. Her brother might be dead, but she will not stop fighting to clear his name.
The female had wandered away from her friends when she noticed Rose enter the tea shop, and she looked around her before she headed straight for it. The door opened, and she can overhear her friend order the tea, and she chuckled softly as she headed straight for the table, sitting down across from her. Nope, she wasn't going to ask to sit.

"Well hello you." Rose replied with a smile on her face, her rosey cheeks flushed at the sight of Frankie. She somehow made Rose's heart flutter ever so slightly and they haven't spoken since the night they cuddled on the couch in the common room. Oh if only her parents knew! She was sure they had a lot to say about that, especially her mother but she wasn't going to tell them.
Rose eyed Frankie and eyed the woman bringing her her tea. The woman eyed Frankie and then Rose again. Was she having a problem here? Rose eyed her tea and hummed. "Thank you lady, Frankie would you like some tea as well?" she offered and tried to ignore this rude person.
"It has been a while.. I did miss spending time with you."
A lot has happened since they last spoken on the couch in their common room, and cuddled a bit too. Ever since she returned back to Hogwarts, she wanted to get her life back on track after the loss of her brother. She had let a friend know that she had something to do, and to tell some of their other friends so they don’t think she disappeared on them on purpose. She pretty much thought Rose knew of the loss of her brother but she wasn’t going to even bring it up because it still destroyed her at the thought. The female still had the letter of the news, and she couldn’t bring herself to destroy it.
Frankie just watched her friend with a tiny smile, giving her a nod at the question of the tea and glanced up at the lady. ”Yes, I’ll have what she’s having. Thank you.” she said, leaning back and crossed her legs as she eyed her friend, and crush for a moment.

GET DOWN LADIES, YOU'VE GOT NOTHING TO LOSE
Rose was in a certain way obviously worried. She hadn't seen Frankie since their cuddle night and though she had a smile on her face, she had worry in her eyes. Especially when Frankie said she was dealing with things. Was whatever happened between them causing a rift? The ginger girl was quite uncertain but her mother always told her appearance hide the emotions inside, she did exactly what she was taught to do. Hide what she felt and just try to be the friend Frankie needed right now.
"What have you been dealing with?" she asked and took a sip of her tea. Rose loved the taste of the cherries and other berries in that tea, it made her feel warm and fuzzy inside. She was hoping the answer to Frankie's question wasn't her. She was scared to scare Frankie off, that what happened between them was maybe too much.
Frankie wasn't one to hide from what was bothering her, not anymore. Her brother had known of the crush she had on her friend, but she never wanted to act upon it, fearing that Rose would tell her to screw off and she'd lose her best friend. All she wanted was to go back in time, take his offer to help her cope with the crushing but she had turned him down every time. She really missed her brother, and she knew Rose deserved to know what had happened to him. Why she was absent from Hogwarts for a short time.
Her eyes went onto Rose's teacup for a moment as she let out a breath. "I found out that my brother was killed during a prison riot. I had to leave to deal with funeral things since I'm his only living....family. It fell on me." she said with a tiny frown, and shook off the negative feelings she was starting to feel in that moment.

GET DOWN LADIES, YOU'VE GOT NOTHING TO LOSE
Rose never got to meet Frankie's brother. She wanted to, he sounded oh so lovely. Sure he was in prison but she believed Frankie when she said he didn't do anything. The redhead took Frankie's hand in her own and squeezed it gently. Her heart was pounding in her chest but she managed to keep her cool. She liked Frankie and she had feelings she couldn't place quite yet but she cared.
It was then Frankie told her what happened and Rose instantly felt like her heart shattered for Frankie. "Oh I am so sorry." she said and looked at her.
Frankie had no idea what she will do without her brother here, but she was going to get through. She will still fight for his innocence until someone finally listens and sees that they had put an innocent man behind bars, killing him. Her adopted family helped her with it all, and she didn't have to do much of the heavy lifting of planning the funeral. The siblings were close, and knew each other's wishes. Frankie couldn't help but smile weakly as Rose took her hand, and she looked at them for a moment, trying to compose herself cause damn she liked her so much that it hurts so much.
"Yeah, no. I didn't want to bother you. Studying is important." she said and smiled. And truth be told, she didn't want Rose to see her as a weak girl. Frankie wanted to be strong - wanted to not break in front of her friend again.

Of course education was important not only to Rose but to her mother. The words her father told her at the train station 'be smarter than Malfoy' wasn't tough but it was also a competition that didn't belong to her. Rose knew her studies would be just fine but she also didn't want Frankie to think she couldn't trust her with what was most important to her, not to Rose. Rose didn't know how to tell her what her priorities were without being weird.
"Oh but you could have told me, took me with you. I'd be there in a heartbeat." she assured her with a smile of her own. The girl wanted to help as much as she could and this was the way to do it. Rose sipped from her tea with a smile and reached out for Frankie's hand.

Frankie wasn’t one to show weakness, she had decided on that after her brother’s funeral and decided to stay strong for the remainder of the time she took off. She had been trying not to cry again, and to be honest, it was hard. Last thing she wanted was for her friend to have to comfort her again like she had when they were on the couch together. Sometimes she wished she told her how she felt, but instead, she didn’t and wasn’t going to ruin this friendship. This friendship was more important to her than a relationship.
There was a small smile on Frankie’s face when she had taken her hand, and told her she was there for her. This was something that made her heart skip a beat. It made her smile even more, and she nodded. ”Thank you. Your words mean a lot. Maybe I can make it up to you and just...hang out like we used too. I miss it.”
