With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
To be fair, Ciar was surprised when he heard that his brother Finn had quit his job at the animal store and decided to work at The Three Broomsticks instead. He didn't think his little brother would work in a place like that, and when he heard about it he had to check it out for himself and not his own mothers words. The male had walked through the village, hands stuffed in his pockets and his eyes wandered the area. He hadn't been there in a long time, and he knew he should go to one of his sister's games in the future if he had the time. He wanted to show his support, and he was proud that she was looking forward to playing professionally, he knew their father had a strong option of it but it didn't matter. This was her future, and not his.
The male smiled at a couple of passerby's and he gave them a nod when he was greeted. For once it was quiet and no crazy fans were following him, something he was thankful for. Sure, he loved the attention but sometimes he needed some alone time and when he found himself near the door of The Three Broomsticks, he paused. Was his brother even working that day? Or was he taking the time off? He sighed a bit as he looked around before he entered the pub, and smiled at how many people were in there. Only a fair few. Thankfully he missed the Hogwarts students being there.
The male looked around, and headed for the bar, sitting down and eyed his brother when he was serving someone. He had his hands folded in front of him, grinning from ear to ear.

So far things have been amazing and Finn even met a cute girl! This job really had all the perks the pet store didn't seem to have and well he made people happy here so what was so bad about it? He didn't understand how underrated bartenders were but he would prove people differently.
It was close to Finn's break as he poured some people their drinks. The place was quite crowded today which actually brightened Finn's day a little. He moved onto the next person to serve and smiled ever so brightly when he noticed it was his older brother.
"Ciar!" he said with a big grin still on his face. "How have you been!"
Ciar kept his eyes on his brothers when it seemed like he didn't catch his attention, and was about to speak up when he did get it. The Quidditch Chaser smiled big at his little brother. He wasn't expecting him to work at a bar, and figured that perhaps everyone needed a change in this family. The only person he knew that wasn't going to change was Donovan. The male wanted to do what's right to the world, and perhaps he was the golden boy. "Little brother." he greeted, cocking his head to the side with the same smile.
"I'm doing good. Relaxing. Avoiding mom." he admitted as he looked at the drinks behind the bar. "This is the last place I expect to see you. Thought you loved that animal place. It made you happy. What happened?" he asked, concerned at to why the job change suddenly.
Was it because of what was happening with their sister?

Of course even Ciar was confused as to why Finn had this job. The job wasn't really the most perfect one sure but he liked it, people were happy when he served them drinks. The boy one day wanted to work with animals again but not the way he worked there.
"Avoiding mom? Why?" he was curious as to what his mother could possibly do to annoy Ciar. He was a pro player and he was a star! A real celebrity! "You are a famous star, mother should be proud!" he said and then frowned when Ciar mentioned his old job.
"It didn't make other people happy, and the animals didn't seem happy either." he said softly and pouted.
"I wish I could work with animals and make everyone happy but that store didn't do it. Sure the kids would be happy but the animals.. they don't get treated well by the owner."
Ciar had leaned against the bar as he listened to his brother, listening to why he was there instead of the animal shop. He frowned a bit at the mention of the animals being mistreated by the owner of the place. It made his blood boil a bit, wanting to go kick someone's ass but he promised his mother he would stay out of trouble despite what was happening up at Hogwarts with their sister. The little devil should feel lucky to have an army of brothers behind her, knowing damn well that if she's harmed, the bullies were dead men walking. He was concerned for his sister but right then he was concerned for his thirst and the need for some firewhisky. He had time off, he can get away with it.
"Have you reported the bastard at least? Get those animals out of there before they get killed or worse?" he asked as he looked at the selection of drinks behind the bar. His brother knew what he liked, the Stevens family always kept the stuff at the house for him during the holidays. He can remember the time Casey stole a sip and spit it out soon afterward.

Finn hated how animals could be treated sometimes, he loved seeing them free and in a loving environment instead. The male was smiling either way but when his brother talked about reporting the shop owner the other male just shrugged and shook his head. He didn't want trouble and only he knew what happened back there, he was sure the animals would go to better places anyway.
"I am just not really good with conflict Ciar.." he reminded his brother and took a sip of his own drink as he stood there.
"I don't want to think something bad could happen to them."
Ciar was a little disappointed that Finn refused to even try to report the guy, and knew that yeah, he wasn't good with conflict. But Ciar was Ciar, and he would get involved himself. Ciar was known for his raising hell, and was a little trouble in school but there he was, a star Quidditch player and a brother. He would help his family out in any way possible. "Don't worry about it, brother. I can handle it." he said, and looked around the bar room.
"Have you spoken to Casey lately? Heard she's been having problems with Oswald Tyrell." he said softly, concerned for their sister. Last thing he needed was for her to end up dead.
Finn knew that it wasn't a good thing about the animals but he couldn't do much about it now. He quit the job and he had a new one. "I am actually considering working at the animal shelter, I like those animals they are just normal and people treat them fairly even when they have oddities." he said and chewed on his lip as he said it. Finn hated conflict and animals in the shelter were there for a second chance.
"Casey? Yeah she came by the other day when her class had a trip to town." he said and frowned. "She didn't mention that I don't think. I know some bullies bugged her but she said it was nothing." he told Ciar and cocked his head to the side. "Ozzy wouldn't hurt her would he? Why would he even bother? He knows Ariella is dating our brother." he said not sure how this all made sense.
Ciar sighed a bit as he listened to his brother talk about the animal shelter, nodding a bit. He admired the fact that his brother was a lover of animals, and had the biggest heart in this family. Some people are sick, and he had seen the abuse animals go through at stores but he never said anything about it. But now he might pay Finn's former boss a visit, and even report him. "Do it, brother. Animals love you as much as you love them." he said, shifting a bit on his stool as he thought about the Tyrell family, and their problems. He had heard about Peter going missing, and he wanted to check in with Ariella.
"I highly doubt he'd get far to hurting our sister. Believe me, if he did I would do something about it. I don't care if he's a Tyrell or not. If anyone hurts Casey, they'll deal with me." he said and looked toward a cute girl nearby.
Work with animals was one of the many things that Finn had always wanted to do with himself and he was actually considering to find a more adventurous job. The young male even thought about breeding dragons but he needed to actually know more about them before doing so. Maybe he could get in touch with someone who did that, breed dragons sounded like the most amazing thing out there. He turned to his brother, knowing very well he didn't know any dragon breeders.
"I am going to apply soon, I wish there were places to work with magical animals you know? Like dragons." he said and laughed a bit. "Wouldn't that be great?" he then thought about Ozzy and frowned. "You forget sometimes words hurt worse than deeds brother. If she gets insulted too much she might as well be in as much pain and suffering as a beatdown." he reminded Ciar. "Not to mention that he has friends who bully her even when he is not around.. the people around you influence the situation." Finn knew about being bullied but he always kept himself going.
