alking into the forest with a cigarette shoved between his lips, Greyson was surprisingly not in a terrible mood for once. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that he'd downed a good fourth of a bottle of firewhiskey he had stashed in his trunk after class. A fourth wasn't enough to get him drunk but instead, he was pleasantly buzzed.

Greyson had just been about to reach for his wand to light his cigarette when suddenly, there was a rustling of leaves nearby. "What the fu..." Raising his head, he smirked as he saw Kaylie of all people sitting against a tree. She was someone he'd grown to consider a rare mate of his, equally as sarcastic as she was messy. She was fun to drink with too.

Lighting his cigarette, Greyson moved her to sit next to her. "Can I say you're lookin' good, Rousseau, or will that pretty little girlfriend of yours hex me?" Though they weren't friends, Alana was someone enjoyed but for entirely different reasons to Kaylie, like the fact she hooked her fangs into his neck on the regular. It was... a weird feeling, but one he'd never experienced before, but it was like an entirely different way of getting high. It was dangerous, pumped adrenaline through his blood, and knowing that one wrong move could bring him to an early demise? Shit yeah, he was into that. 

W

hen Kaylie wiggled the flask of booze in front of her, a grin crossed Greyson's lips as he snagged it from her hand. Untwisting the lid and taking a swig, Greyson swallowed and let out a satisfied 'ah' as the straight liquor hit his throat. It burned slightly, his throat a bit numb from the quarter of firewhiskey he'd drank already, but he didn't care. All pain felt good to him, and this was no different.

"Good. 'Cause shit, man, if you were straight I'd try and get in your pants in a heartbeat," he said, snorting in amusement because yeah, that was never gonna happen. The thought sure was nice though. "If girly Valentino - that is... Alana, not Aiden - tries to snap my neck and I live to tell the tale, I'll be goddamn disappointed." If she succeeded, he'd be happy as hell as long as he didn't come back as a damn ghost.

"Pleasure?" Greyson repeated, amused. "What, you think I've got a chick stashed back in a tree or something? Hell no. I'm just here because Wood bitches about me smoking in the dorms and gets on my last goddamn nerve about it. Can't stand that goody two shoes. He needs to smoke something, maybe it'll help the bloke relax."

he smirk on Greyson's face only grew bigger as Kaylie said if she was straight, she'd let him. "I'm not tryin' to turn you or some shit, but have you ever? With a bloke?" he asked, more out of curiousity than anything as he took yet another swig out of Kaylie's flask. 

"Aiden's a little bitch boy. Mr. Prefect. Dude reckons just 'cause he's got a shiny little badge it means he's important. Bunch of bullshit if you ask me," Greyson said with an abrasive snort. Self-important little git. He couldn't stand the dude. He shrugged at Kaylie's question, as though it meant very little to him and like it was an unimportant topic. "Yep, if someone's gonna kill me then I better be dead forever. Hate my life already, why would I wanna come back as a ghost or some crap and watch over my loved ones like some creeper?"

"Last 'til New Years for what?" Greyson was confused. For pleasure? What, was she trying to tell him she hadn't actually hooked up with Valentino yet? "Yeah, we have windows. He reckons it'll make everything stink." It would, but that was beside the point. He should be allowed to smoke up in his own damn room, right?

A

t Kaylie's response, Greyson nodded. It made sense, after all. If he didn't want to shag someone in the first place, of course he wouldn't enjoy it. He could see her viewpoint but instead of getting all deep into it with her, he said with a bit of a smirk, "Guess it's good you're shagging chicks now, huh?"

Greyson's brows raise as Kaylie brought up Valentino and his 'kind' ways because Kaylie was Alana's girlfriend and immediately, he snorted because right. What a goddamn weirdo. Who was that whipped by their sister? "Maybe there's a bit of twincest going on there," he said, pulling a disgusted face at the thought. It was gross, but then again... who knew. 

"Damned if I know," Greyson replied with a shrug at the question Kaylie posted. He was related to a ghost, believe it or not, because for some reason beyond him, Lottie had decided to come back at one. It was a goddamn bloody tragedy too because she was annoying as hell to him. 

Kaylie's confession about her mother all of a sudden blindsided Greyson because how the hell had they gotten onto that subject? But as well as being taken aback... unfortunately, Greyson wasn't surprised. There had to be a reason why Kaylie was such a self-destructive mess, and that was one if he ever heard one. "Then leave," he said shortly. It may have been blunt, and with a lack of emotion, but it was straight-forward and maybe what she needed to hear. "You're at Hogwarts for the next nine months, figure out a way. Better then going back to some old demented bitch who kicks the shit outta you."

Greyson simply shrugged at Kaylie saying it was his room. Yeah, it was, but the bitching from Wood was just over the bloody top. It almost wasn't worth it, and so he'd just have to resort to smoking when the dude wasn't in the dorm and hanging about, waiting to ruin his fun.

G

reyson's brows raised as Kaylie claimed that her mother had sent her in the hospital because what kind of psycho was this bloody woman? She may have been just that, a woman, but Greyson wasn't scared and it showed in the irate tone of his voice as he asked, "Want me to sort the bitch out for you? She ain't got shit on me, and I'm a minor with no offences. Won't get sent to Azkaban or jail or anything yet. Sounds like the cow needs to be taught a lesson of her own, maybe take an 'accidental' tumble down the stairs."

When Kaylie asked if he had a smoke, Greyson nodded shortly, reaching into the pocket of his leather jacket (yeah, he was a cliche, what-fucking-ever) and pulled out his pack, offering her to take whichever one she so pleased. "You need a light too?" he asked, stubbing his own cigarette out with his free hand. Once she'd grabbed a smoke, he'd light up a new one for himself.

"D

amn straight I'd push her down a staircase. Out a window too. Maybe in front of those, uh... muggle things. Y'know the ones that move on the road?" Grey said, shrugging carelessly. She deserved it, and one day karma was gonna kick this lady in the arse if he didn't get there first.

At Kaylie's 'thanks,' he raised his cigarette in a gesture as if to say 'you're welcome.' But he didn't bother saying it aloud, because that was way too bloody formal for them and their type of relationship. "Does your girlfriend know what she's been doing, man?"

"E

r, yeah, I guess," Greyson said in response to Kaylie saying what he was speaking of was a car. She knew more about the muggle world than he did, after all. All he knew was that these 'car' things were big, metal boxes and would transform this chick into roadkill, or send her straight into St. Mungo's. Maybe the latter option was better, as then the Aurors could do an investigation then realise what was happening at home. "Man, she should go to Azkaban. They torture the shit outta you there. Heaps better than a quick death, especially after what she's put you through."

Eating her mother? Shit, no. Kaylie's mother didn't deserve the thrill of a vampire drinking her, taking some of her life. That was reserved for him and, well, maybe that asshole Aiden. He wasn't sure, but he and Alana were so close he wouldn't be surprised if she drank from him too. They shared everything, from what he'd seen. Probably even a bed, no doubt Aiden would insist on that. He supposed it was only lucky Alana was a vampire because at least then Aiden couldn't knock her up. "Their home? Wonder what their parents are like to create kids like the Valentinos," Greyson mused aloud. "Do they know you and her are together?"
