With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Mavican knew her free time activities was something that bothered the professors. But really was she really to be judged by that rather than how good of a player she is? How well she does at the field? She wasn't a bad student either, she kept up with her classes and her grades were good too.
Mavican just hated people for being so judgemental. They didn't know what she went through on a daily basis and they never will. She smiled a bit though when Casey said she didn't see her as a sex toy. That was a good thing.
"I'm glad, at least someone sees the person deep down." she chuckled and closed her eyes, maybe she could take a nap here.
"That's a good team, I am all for Ireland pride." she said and grinned a bit.
"The harpies is goals though, for every woman in the field."
Casey had watched her friend closely for a moment, her eyes moving along her body as she listened to her and she felt a little off right then so she turned her head back to look at the ceiling. There was something about Mavican that made Casey just want to be truthful about herself but she didn't want to deal with those feelings. The fact that she was hiding her own sexuality scared her enough, and some people probably knew due to her not even talking to boys like most girls do her age. It was her thing, and she wanted to keep it to herself for as long as she can.
Her father would surely hate her even more if the truth came out and she didn't need that. "I'll see where my life takes me. I gotta see if I survive the rest of my Hogwarts years without incident." she said and tucked her arms under her head as she thought about it.

Mavican was just glad to see Casey doing a whole lot better than she did before. The brunette sighed and looked at her, the little seeker. Mavican knew she was putting pressure on people, especially her team mates but was it that much to ask for? For actual victory rather than the endless diagrams and plans to make it work out?
"Oh you better, besides you got me on your team and I never failed to defend a teammate from getting hurt." she winked. It was as much assurance as she could give.
"I should get going but you, get some rest." she said and got up from the bed, back on her feet. Maybe a little too fast but she didn't care.
