With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Ryker had sent morgan one of her million notes hoping this time she would actually come to meet her at the lake. They needed to make up and not drive Ryker crazy and make her unable to sleep. She had been performing horribly in classes because this useless little fight was not leaving her mind. She just wanted her girlfriend back and forget about others.
The girl sighed as she kicked a rock into the water while waiting for Morgan. She had been trying million ways of approach in her mind but she knew they would all disappear the moment her girlfriend would be there, in front of her and wanting her to explain.
Ryker heard a twig crack and turned around to look who it was, her eyes fell on her girlfriend and she smiled.
Morgan had done a good job at avoiding the drama that was her life, and had been avoiding her own girlfriend after the incident in the classroom with Leo. The temptation of cursing the guy was still there every time she laid eyes on the idiot in the Great Hall. She wasn't going to tell her girlfriend to pick between the two - it would be rather rude and Morgan wasn't one to do that to a person. Instead she would just stay clear whenever the two lions were together except for a game. She'd watch a match between the houses for support.
Morgan knew that she shouldn't be avoiding her girlfriend for much longer, and had gotten the note to meet her at the lake and she decided perhaps it was time to stop torturing her. To chat out whatever had happened in the classroom, and maybe even tell her about what had been going through her mind since her parents were murdered. How much that night had changed her for the worse and she needed to talk to someone about it besides her best friend and brother.
She had stopped when she stepped on the twig, and eyed her girlfriend as she turned around and saw the smile. Her heart raced in her chest as she eyed her, and nodded. She looked like crap, but she also looked so good. "Hey." she moved forward a bit but stayed a distance.
Even if she was still a little mad, she knew that no one wanted to hurt her. She should have trusted her own girlfriend more.

Ryker knew that apparently Leo had feelings for her but she didn't feel that way about him and Morgan should know that. She should know better but ever since last summer she was not the same person, not unless they were together and her smile was real and not an act. The brunette looked at Morgan and just moved closer to pull her in a hug.
"I missed you." she admitted and tried to forget about the nights where she couldn't sleep. The thought of losing her broke her heart and every time she closed her eyes she was faced with that very fear.
Ryker didn't want to let her go, she didn't want to hear that Morgan didn't love her because she knew that Morgan did.
Morgan was tired - she wanted to get sleep and knew one of these days she's going to end up passing out due to exhaustion. The naps weren't helping, and she knew she would have to sleep eventually. The emotions were there when Ryker pulled her into a hug, and she realized how much she needed those arms around her and she had clung onto her, feeling the tears roll down her cheeks. She was beyond tired, and knew as soon as she lies down, she'd be out like a light. She just didn't want the nightmares haunting her. She wanted to feel normal again.
"I've missed you too." she said and sniffled. She just leaned her head on her shoulder. "I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have went off on you like that." she admitted and looked at her and moved her hand to stroke her cheek and smiled weakly. "I just want everything to be good again. Ever since that night...I haven't been myself." she frowned.
She needed to talk about things and not hide them.

Ryker loved Morgan and of course the first thing on her mind was to pull her girlfriend into a hug and show her how much she cared. Yes she was pissed that Morgan went off on her like that, she was angry and she wanted her girlfriend to see sense in the words she yelled at Ryker like accusations she didn't deserve.
The brunette kissed Ryker's head and held her close, feeling her girlfriend's arms wrapped around her tightly, making her slightly unable to breathe. Ryker looked at Morgan who was crying and looked beyond exhausted.
"Ssh hey it's okay." she said softly, her eyes on her girlfriend. She knew something was up and though she didn't accept people yelling at her, Morgan was going to explain.
"Talk to me.. okay? Just come sit down and we can talk.."
Morgan was on the edge of exhaustion - she was so close to passing out these days that it was a ticking time bomb. She knew it wasn't healthy to not sleep, and knew that it's going to kick her in the ass if she's not careful. It was starting to mess with her focus in classes, and she was honestly surprised no one had noticed the bags under her eyes. Then again she tried to avoid looking at people, or even letting them near her to even notice. She tried to hide it from her professors but she knew if she didn't sleep, they will all find out.
She had let her grip loosen from her girlfriend, and she looked at her with tired eyes, giving her a weak smile. Sitting down would be good. "I will." she said softly as she moved to lower herself on the ground, letting out a small sigh as she wiped the tears from her eyes as she took her girlfriends hand into hers.
"I can't sleep. Haven't been able too since August. And me being as tired as I am, it just makes me see things that aren't there."

Ryker sat them down carefully, Morgan looked so tired and took her girlfriend's hand in her own. Maybe a sleeping draught would help her, they used to help Ryker when she had nightmares as a kid. The brunette squeezed her hand lightly as she listened to her girlfriend.
"You have been traumatized, it's understandable." she tried to assure her and make Morgan feel better. Ryker wasn't really experienced in this kind of loss, even if she wanted to be.
"Well.." she said softly and reached for her backpack, pulling out a small vial. "This is a sleeping draught I carry with me whenever I can't sleep well. It's dreamless so.. no nightmares." she said softly and held it out to her girlfriend.
"The nurse can give you some too but I am not using mine and it won't raise questions, just a sip okay? Not too much.."
Perhaps Morgan should have looked into a sleeping draught but deep down she wanted to punish herself, and she knew damn well her lack of sleep was dangerous, not just to her but to others too. If she were to perform magic, she'd mess up and possibly hurt someone and that's the last thing she needed and getting sleep was probably the best thing for her right now. So the moment her girlfriend pulled the vial out, Morgan's eyes stared at it while she listened to her, and took the vial from her slowly. There was a slight frown on her face and she sighed before eyeing her girlfriend.
"I love you. And I thank you for being patient with me." she said softly and kissed her softly. She just wanted to be held by her girlfriend and forget about the world. "Just hold me? I don't want to be alone one more minute." she said and looked at her with a small smile.
Her girlfriend just wanted to help her, and now she understood it.

Ryker tried to help the people she cared about all the time and sometimes it worked out, sometimes it didn't. The thing was that it wasn't always up to her. If the people she tried to help didn't want it, she would do a lot of things for no good reason. It'll be messy but that was sadly the true meaning of things. Ryker wasn't one to let her friends down, to make them suffer.
"It'll be okay.." she said and returned the kiss with a smile. "I love you too.." she meant it even when she got attacked by the little outburst of Morgan's. She did love her whether the girl often showed it or not.
"Of course." Ryker pulled her close and just sat there, looking over the lake. "The lake is beautiful in this light."
Morgan had shifted a little bit to lean against her girlfriend, and eyed the lake before them. The moment she had gotten comfortable with her girlfriend's arms around her, she started to relax a bit more. Her mind going at ease, and she felt safe. Even if there's no threats around her at that current moment, she wanted the protection from herself and her overthinking brain. She hated it sometimes, and her outbursts weren't helping her any. She knew she should apologize to Leo for her snapping but for now she wanted private time with her girlfriend. The one girl who can keep her together.
There was a small smile on her face as she watched the lake. "It is." she said, looking up at her and smiled a bit. "Just like you." she moved a hand up to stroke her cheek. "We should do this more often. Except for nights when there's a full moon."

Truth be told she was just glad they were okay again. Ryker hated being in a bad position with her girlfriend. The dark haired girl kissed the top of Morgan's head and smiled a bit. She just wanted to enjoy this while she could, soon a professor would find them and whine. Ryker rubbed Morgan's arm a bit.
"You know you can just stay with me around the full moon." she knew that was a hard time, it was a reminder of Dallas never coming back to Hogwarts. She hated that this happened to him but there was nothing she could do to help.
The thought of the full moon coming up worried her, and she was afraid every time a full moon would happen. She’d be up all night worrying about Dallas, and hoping that he was okay. Of course he had his girlfriend there with him, but it didn’t help matters much. She wasn’t always at ease, and the thought of something happening to him bothered Morgan deeply. She didn’t want to bury anyone else in her family. One funeral was enough, and she barely got through the damn thing. When Ryker offered for her to stay with her during that dark time, she looked up at her with a tiny smile.
”I’d love that.” she said and moved a hand to stroke her jaw line. What would she do without her girlfriend? She knew Ryker wanted to help her as much as she can.
”Yeah, I just saw him...I think yesterday. He’s doing good. And told me to kiss and make up with you.”

Ryker loved Morgan and she would do anything for her even if it meant sitting here and letting her fall asleep in Ryker's arms. The brunette was just glad to have her back after what happened with Leo. She hated that they had to be apart and she had been everyone's worst nightmare up till now. She would but people because she needed Morgan back and now it was okay again and she needed that more than anything.
Ryker let out a happy sigh as she felt Morgan's hand on her face. "Good.." she looked at her girlfriend and moved her head to kiss her fingers. "So he's okay? I'm glad. Are he and Artemis still a thing?" Those poor souls got bit together on the same night.
Morgan giggled a bit as her girlfriend kissed her fingers, and she just traced her finger along her lips as she thought over what Dallas and Artemis' relationship. The last she knew was that they were okay, and Dallas being a lovable dork. There was a time she had thought those two would just get married or even have children with how much they didn't stay off of each other back when they started dating. The thought made her chuckle for a moment, and hummed softly as she relaxed her arm a bit. Her eyes went up toward the sky a bit, humming.
"Yep. They're still a thing. Trust me, if they weren't you'd know." she made a face. "Only hope Apollo doesn't mess things up for them. His attitude isn't helping at all whatsoever, and Dallas is so close to snapping his neck any day now." she said and hummed softly. "I can't wait to be at the cabin during the winter holiday. Are you still up to going with me? I'd hate to be a third wheel."

Ryker just looked out at the lake while she felt Morgan's fingers at her lips. She liked the pair of Artemis and Dallas, they were cute in their own way and one day they'd have cute ginger and blonde babies for sure.
"Mmm glad they're okay." she said and kissed her head. "Apollo is gonna get killed with that attitude." she joked and hummed. "Never liked the guy anyway."
"Of course I'm coming with you, I mean surely there is enough space for us all? Is it magical inside and tiny on the outside?" she asked curiously and eyed her girlfriend.
