With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
Look, Oswald Tyrell had a friend that isn't his age and it was someone the seventh year grew to adore like a brother over the time he had known him. Ozzy wasn't one to hate all people, he just hated some and gave them all a hard time sometimes, including his sister Parker. But if anyone messed with his family, he'd happily kill them and throw them in the Black Lake without thinking twice because blood was thicker than anything else. There was a time he would make death threats toward his sister's ex-boyfriend, and he was glad that the guy broke up with his sister even if it broke her heart. Parker deserved better.
The male took the flower his little friend handed him, and he smiled a little bit. No, he wasn't gay. "Girls make me nervous too sometimes, bud. Trust me." he said and looked around. At least no one was there to hear him say that.
"Yeah, my classes are going well. For now. Hopefully my sister doesn't try anything to make my grades look bad."
And while you are sitting indoors waiting for the storm to pass I will be outside dancing in the rain

Scorpius looked at Ozzy and nodded a bit. He didn't hate his siblings, Scorpius didn't really meet the others and if he did he must have forgotten or they were girls and they freaked him out. The boy played with a flower from his bag and smiled a bit when Ozzy said girls make him nervous too.
"I just.. ever since the girl kissed me last year.. I can't talk to them.." he said and looked down at his flower. Was he a disappointment to his father? Was he a disappointment in general?
"My mother doesn't know.. she just thinks I act like my father and I don't." he said and sighed.
"I don't think she will if you do your potions work well!"
Of all the women in his life, only two can keep him from being a complete asshole. That just happened to be Chelsea and his sister who thought she was the Queen. Perhaps Ariella Tyrell was the Queen of the Tyrell family. Part of him was a little jealous that his father had chosen her to take over the business if he were to retire or die randomly, but he knew she was the oldest and was made the heir of the family fortune. The Slytherin knew damn well his sister would disown the bastards (the children that were born to mistresses) if she had the power. They both didn’t approve of their father’s lifestyle.
”Well, if you ever need help to talk to a girl. I’m your man.” he said with a tiny smile and he cocked his head to the side at the thought of his sister teaching. ”I honestly don’t think Ari likes the job so much. She’s not a people person. It’s rare to see her smile.”
He hummed. ”I don’t think she’d fail me. I have good grades.”
