With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Parker had been studying harder than ever, wanting to make her own father proud and even would share her assignments to him whenever he wasn't look for Peter. It felt like part of her soul had been taken since July of that summer, and people had believed that her brother was dead instead of coming the monster that he ended up being. A werewolf. She had no idea where he went after the attack, and even looked around for him herself, but people had said he was dead. Did she believe it? At first she didn't, and these days she was starting to believe it more and more.
A sigh escaped Parker as she uncrossed her legs while she was seated on her bed and heard the door open. She had just closed the book before falling back. Maybe she shouldn't work so hard so early in the school year. It was her her fifth year after all, and she should at least enjoy it. Maybe find herself a boyfriend. Get on her sisters nerves. Last boyfriend didn't even dare to even kiss Parker in front of her family cause apparently her sister could kill with her looks.
"I feel like this school year is going to be a downer. My sister works here now, and my dear old ex-boyfriend refuses to even to be in the same room as me."

Ollie was trying very hard to be a good prefect aside from being a good student. She just headed back for a nap before she had to go on patrols that evening. Ollie never thought being a prefect would be this complicated but the bathroom was amazing. She almost felt bad for keeping it to herself, maybe she should offer friends a chance to come with her.
The girl walked into the dorm after being smiled at by someone she likes and her cheeks were flushed red. Ollie turned to her bed and smiled when she noticed Parker there.
"Oh dear but that doesn't have to be a bad thing!" she told her immediately and sat down on Parker's bed.
"Why would it be so bad? I mean sure exes are not fun.. not that i know.. i never dated anyone." She quickly added.

Parker would not admit that she still had feelings for her ex-boyfriend cause she knew her sister and brother would likely judge her for that. She already heard Ozzy had given him a beat down, which she was angry about because he didn't do anything wrong. But apparently rumors were flying around saying that he had laid a hand on Parker and it wasn't true. All he did was yell, not hurt her cause he knew damn well that if he had, he'd be dead by the hands of her father or even her sister. A sigh escaped her as she eyed her friend and sat up a bit.
"Is it bad that I still....feel something for him?" she asked softly and sat up a bit, crossing her legs and eyed her friend when she mentioned she liked someone. A smirk appeared on Parker's face and she cocked her head to the side. "And now you gotta tell me who he is? Is he cute? Do I know him?"
And while you are sitting indoors waiting for the storm to pass I will be outside dancing in the rain

Ollie wanted to reassure her friend, tell her she is going to be fine because there was nothing to worry about. The little hufflepuff girl hugged her friend and sat back on the bed after she did so. She didn't think that the boy was bad for Parker but if he couldn't stand up to the family was he really going to fight for her?
"I don't think it's bad." she told her and gave Parker a smile as she petted her legs. "I mean it would be nice if he stood up against them for you. Even if they are very scary.. running away and breaking up is not very brave." she said and bit her lip for a moment.
"His name is Gabriel.. he is in our year.." she told her and smiled a bit. "But he doesn't see me that way though he insists on calling me Olivia instead of Ollie.." she added and blushed a bit more.
Parker knew that she should just give up on trying to get her ex-boyfriend's attention but she didn't. She wanted him - wanted to spend time with him and she missed him a lot. She knew her family was terrifying, and knew that if she asked Ariella to give him a chance, she just might. She knew deep down that her sister would likely kill if someone dare to hurt her siblings. She had seen the look in her eyes - seen people almost piss themselves because of the icy look Ariella had. She knew her sister wasn't one to mess with. If looks can kill, her ex-boyfriend would be six feet under.
There was a grin on Parker's face when Ollie started talking about this guy, and she knew damn well who she was talking about. There was only one Gabriel she knew of. "oooh. Yes! He has a pretty smile." she said with a small grin and shifted a bit. "Oh, come on. You're a catch. I'd kiss you right now to prove that." she said and chuckled softly. No, she won't kiss her best friend even if it was tempting to see what her reaction would be.

Ollie was a bit nervous because she felt funny whenever Gabriel was with her and she truly didn't think he saw her the same way. Then again the way he talked, called her Olivia and even knew where she sat in classes it was almost.. almost like he did like her.
"You know, if you want your ex back, talk to him." she suggested and smiled a bit. "I think you should do that." Parker deserved to be happy and Ollie believed in her. "I will help if you want me to." she said and took a pillow so she could lean back comfortably.
"He calls me Olivia, no one does that." she reminded Parker and laughed a bit, her cheeks flushed red at the kissing comment. "Would he want to kiss me though? I mean he is such a fancy pants and rich!" Ollie told her and spread her arms a little.
"Like this rich!" she then shook her head. "I don't think he would want to go out with me.. though he remembers my seat in classes we share.."
This was getting more interesting more and more - and this was something she'd love to spy on cause Ollie had it bad. She knew damn well she liked this guy, and was glad the girl can admit it. If only she followed her example and just go talk to her ex-boyfriend, tell him she misses him and that she wants to give them another chance. But for some reason every time she would want too, someone would approach him instead and she'd just walk away. Goddamn she so wanted to go up to him and kiss him to make it clear that she wasn't done.
There was a grin on Parker's face as she eyed her friend, and gave her a wink. "Ooh, Ollie, Ollie, Ollie." she chuckled and eyed her. "Let me get this straight. He calls you by your name. And he knows your seat in classes you guys share. Sweetie, he likes you. Open your eyes! Money or not, he likes you and that is what matters. So, if I were you, I'd go after it. Be a brave little Hufflepuff. Kiss him. Make the first move."

Ollie never got asked out on a date or had people like her! She was seriously in unknown territory and though it was terrifying was it also a bad thing? People often go through break ups and Ollie was kind of afraid that might happen to her, that Gabriel will find someone prettier or better than her. Maybe even richer?
Ollie looked at Parker and her face turned so red she felt like a hot pot of tomato soup. She rubbed her own cheeks and shook her head. "Stooop." she whined a bit and poked her friend, this was scary! The blonde was so confused and now she had no idea what to do!
"He asked to meet me somewhere tomorrow.. we'll hang out and maybe he can say if he likes me? I never hung out with him before?" She rambled a bit.
"I mean we go out all the time.. remember the zoo?"
There was a grin on Parker's face when Ollie turned red, and she was enjoying this more and more. Her best friend had a thing for Gabriel Avery and she knew damn well that guy was so pretty. She caught herself watching him a couple of times but was never interested in the boy. Though, now she knew he had eyes for her best friend and Parker was making it her mission to make sure this happens because Ollie deserved to be happy. Deserved to have some fun in her life and not be the goody-two-shoes she was. She just kept grinning when her friend poked her, and she shifted on the bed and bit her lip.
"Okay, one. There is a huge difference between the two of us going out. We're friends. We have fun. BUT!" she paused and wrapped her arms around Ollie with a grin. "This sounds like a date. Like, he asked to you to meet him somewhere. It has to be a date. Do you know where this meeting will take place? What time? I gotta know the details before I help you."
And while you are sitting indoors waiting for the storm to pass I will be outside dancing in the rain

Ollie needed her friend's help because boys never usually hang out with her. Sure there were her friends and her brothers but they weren't the same, they called her Ollie and not Olivia. No one called her Olivia besides professors sometimes or Gabriel. What was it about him that made her heart skip a beat and her stomach feel funny.
Ollie snapped out of her thoughts as Parker suddenly became one of her biggest fangirls. "Well.." she started slowly, the blush appearing on her lips. A date? How was it a date? She never went on a date before and that sounded kind of different.
Ollie eyed Parker and bit her lip. "He asked me out for lunch... at the lake." She said and bit her lip some more. "A picnic at the lake." she clarified and smiled a bit.
A picnic at the lake - lovely! It was indeed a date! And Parker was now grinning from ear to ear as she thought over ideas of how Ollie can go through this lunch date without making a fool of herself. Parker knew her friend would be nervous about this because she was nervous too. For her friend of course. Sure, Gabriel didn't seem like a bad person and she had watched him in the classroom from time to time whenever they had a class together. She would curse him into next week if he dared to hurt her friend. Time to get to work. Which meant more questions.
"Okay. Let's see. Picnic at the lake. Sounds like a lovely first date out of many." she winked and moved a bit as she eyed her. "What do you plan on wearing? Something cute I hope." she said as she eyed her for a moment. Leave it to Parker to help her best friend pick out an outfit for a date.

A date? The girl was hardly ever into anything like that. Her friend always made her pretty meals whenever she met up with him. Last Christmas he even made her presents and gave her all kinds of sweets. She wasn't romantically involved with him but he was her friend, and friends did that for each other right?
The blonde blushed a bit as Parker started her thing where she would soon open up Ollie's trunk and pull out her entire closet. "First date? There are more than one?" she asked and rubbed the back of her neck, she was going to fail very much at this.
Ollie eyed her trunk and rose her eyebrow slowly."Well I have my uniform? But I suppose that's a no go?" she looked at Parker and back at her trunk.
"I have some dresses but it's getting cold for dresses but maybe with a jacket? I don't know.."

Parker knew damn well that this was going to be Ollie's first date with a boy that she obviously likes and she needed all the help she can get cause if Olivia had set up her own outfit, she would probably not get a kiss by the boy. So with that she had stood up from the bed, heading straight for her friends trunk and knelt down, opening it. No school uniform. No dresses cause of the weather. Why did this boy wait for now to ask her best friend out on a damn date? There was a low huff from the girl as she looked up at her friend.
"Uniform is a hell no." she said and started taking out the clothes, tossing them onto the bed and hummed quietly. She cocked her head to the side as she stood up and started to sort out some of these clothes. "Nope. No. No. Oooh...wait no." she said as she started to fold the clothing once more and sighed.
"AH HA!" she said as she moved to grab a simple blouse and a pair of jeans. "Yep. These will show off the goods."

❧
Ollie felt very silly in so many ways. She wanted this date to go well and especially since it was apparently a date! The blonde shifted a bit while she was seated, her best friend taking it upon herself to dive into her clothes to find the perfect outfit. Ollie wasn't rich like Parker, sure her family was wealthy enough to afford the amount of kids but it wasn't like Bruce Wayne wealthy.
"Oh but that was cute.." she pouted a bit as a sweater was tossed aside with a big nope. Ollie eyed the blouse and jeans Parker held up and smiled a bit as she took them. "The goods? What goods? Am I supposed to stuff things under my blouse?" she asked a bit confused and looked around.
Parker had looked at her best friend as if she had three heads, opening and closing her mouth because she wanted to face palm so hard right then. Stuffing things under her blouse? Parker had no idea where Ollie got that idea, and Parker Tyrell is gonna judge her for the remaining of the evening. Her hands had found her hips as she looked at her best friend, suddenly grinning a bit as she thought it over. "The goods...." she moved her hands to her own chest, chuckling a bit and shook her head for a moment.
"And no, you're not stuffing stuff under your blouse. You have a nice chest, and that ass..." she winked. There was no shame in flirting with her best friend, the other girl should get used to this by now.
