With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Finn was enjoying his new job. The people were kind and gave him free food because he worked here and the food was really good. The boy was not at all sad about quitting his old job and getting a job here. There were many things that changed in his life but this job was the least horrible one.
He happily served people drinks though sometimes he wondered if he did the right thing by giving some kids drinks because back in Hogwarts the older ones would get drinks for the youngsters but he couldn't control that.
Finn took a bite from his sandwich before a familiar face popped up.
"Casey! Hey!" he hadn't told her about his new job yet and this was a fun surprise.

Casey had been under a lot of pressure, and stress that it wasn't funny and she hadn't told anyone in her family about it. She was stuck in the closet, and was afraid to actually come out to anyone, including her brothers. They still spoke to her father, and now seeing Finn in Hogsmeade threw her off. She had no idea when she'd walk into one of the places she tends to find herself with a couple of her friends, she would see her brother. Did he know this was where she would come whenever she can escape from the castle?
A frown appeared on her face when she spotted Finn after he called out to her and she gave her friends a nod to move on before heading toward him. "Finn. What are you doing here?" she asked and eyed her brother. There was a time she'd just hug him out of happiness but lately she hadn't been herself.

No hug? Maybe that was for the best.. he needed to remain professional after all. The male eyed his sister with confusion, she didn't seem happy to see him and thad saddened the young adult. He really wanted to see her smile and be happy to see him.
Finn still smiled nonetheless and adjusted his glasses a bit before answering his sister's question. "I work here now. The pet shop wasn't fun to work at anymore and here I can make people happy. This one girl actually smiled at me! They never smile at me!"
Maybe he was just being an idiot but he loved making people happy and he felt he did the right thing here.

Casey had given her brother a frown when he explained to why he was there before she cocked her head to the side. She was surprised to see him is all - it was something that threw her off. And now she wondered if Ciar was nearby cause that would make things worse. Okay, so Casey did get along with all her brothers but Ciar was more like their father than anyone else. Sure, he wasn't a jerk and saying girls can't do boy things but he was still an asshole to her if she did something to make him mad.
"Oh, no I'm fine. Just tired is all. And seeing you is just surprising really. Thought you loved that place. Surrounded by something you love." she shared and looked at her brother, smiling a bit more. "Does anyone else know you're here? Dad?" she asked, wanting to make sure that man would never come here to harass her.

Finn loved seeing his little sister, she was his friend and they always had fun together. The boy gave his sister a smile either way and moved away from the bar to pull her into a hug. Screw what other people thing. She was gonna get a free drink on him and they could talk and hang out.
"I do but the animals weren't happy.." he said and frowned a bit, his smile fading. "They seemed sad and I wanted to be somewhere that make people happy." he explained and looked at his little sister.
"No he doesn't.. he doesn't talk to me much. Mum says the job would be a good career change, and I get to see you more." he said his smile returning.
"Get a butterbeer on me!" he then jumped back behind the bar and made her the drink.
Casey gave her brother a hug back, knowing that he deserved one and she acted like she didn't moments before. She was surprised to see him here, and she wasn't going to complain. At least she had another brother around in case Patrick was off doing his own thing. She didn't want to trouble them all about her drama, and what's going on with Tyrell. But maybe she can mention it to Finn a bit, since he always listened to her ramble before. So when he went to make her her drink, she had taken a seat to watch him and folded her hands.
"How well do you know the Tyrell's?" she asked with a frown, knowing she had mentioned Ozzy harassing her before a year ago and her father told her to back off cause apparently her father and the father of the Tyrell brats were friends. She should have known her father would tell her to not bother trying to take down that family.
"Ozzy Tyrell is harassing me again." she admitted.

Finn just wanted to be there for his sister and his friends and so when they came to his workplace looking for a drink, advice or a simple hug, he'd be there. Finn was preparing Casey's drink as he asked her about the Tyrell's. Oh he heard of the family, their father was always very clear about not messing with them.
"A rival family to ours." he told her and handed Casey the large glass of butterbeer. The young male frowned for a moment before shrugging. "Don is seeing the daughter, teacher at your school." he tried to think of her name.
"Ariella? I don't know, all I know is they have a shady business and a very high stick up their asses." he joked a bit.

Casey listened to her brother talk about the Tyrell's and she let out a tiny whine that Don, their older brother was dating her professor and she felt sick to her stomach. She hated the fact that their families were so close to becoming a family due to that relationship. She knew Don and his history of ladies, and knew damn well if he tied this one down, she might as well be dead cause Ozzy would just use both their families to get to her. Why did he have it out for her? She had no idea. But she was going to deal with it.
"Well, one Don is a damn moron. I miss his ex to be honest." she said, tapping her fingers on the bar. "And I have no idea. He's been doing this for years, and I'm so close to snapping it's not funny. I actually punched him the other day, and let me tell you, his head is made of bricks." she told her brother, grabbing the mug of butterbeer.
"He actually had me fall out of the tree I was in and I had to spend an hour or so in the damn Hospital Wing cause my head was bleeding."

Finn listened to Casey and let out a small laugh. Yeah Don had a specific taste in women it seemed but was it that bad? He didn't think so. The young male shrugged slightly and made himself a glass of juice to drink from. The boy didn't do anything illegal here, not unlike his co worker who drank something that didn't look like juice at all.
"Maybe he is mad at Don dating his sister? Or maybe he has a grudge against one of our brothers?" he suggested thinking that maybe the other guy didn't dare touch one of the Stevens brothers.
"I wouldn't know though.." he added quickly and let out a small sigh. He wished he was more helpful but he surely wasn't, not in this situation. Finn took a sip of his juice and almost choked when she said she was bleeding.
"Oh wow did you tell a professor? That is not good Casey!"
Casey looked at her brother with wide eyes when he almost choked on his drink and she reached a hand out to make sure he was okay. Okay, maybe she shouldn't have mentioned that one tiny detail about falling out of a tree and almost cracking her skull open. She knew there was a chance he'd tell one of their brothers or even their mother and she didn't want them to step in to fight her battles for her. She wanted to deal with this herself, and not let the adults take care of it. She needed to learn to stick up for herself.
"Oh no. I didn't tell them. I want to deal with this myself. He might be bigger, but I'm smaller and faster. Remember, you're talking to the Ravenclaw seeker." she winked, and sipped her butterbeer. Man, she needed to come here more often if it meant for her to get free drinks because her brother worked at one of her favorite places in the village.
"Please don't tell the others. Especially mom. Mom would go batshit crazy if she knew."

Finn was definitely worried because his little sister meant the world to him. The thought of losing her made him scared shitless and he didn't like it. Sure his father was a jerk about her but he loved her, he loved everyone in his family whether they like it or not. Finn took a sip of his own drink.
"Just be careful! I don't want you hurt." he told her and smiled at the smile she had from the drink. That is what he liked to see, the smiles people get when they taste the drinks he made them. Finn was so proud of himself and though being a bartender could sound like a bad job he liked it.
"I won't but you really should be more careful, don't mess with the Tyrell's." he told her and leaned closer against the bar.
Casey knew her brothers worried about her - and knew of her history of depression but she wasn't going to let a Slytherin boy get under her skin anymore. She knew she had to do something about it, fight for herself and strike back when he won't expect it. She didn't need him trying to ruin her chances of playing in the Quidditch games in the future. She was going to kick his houses ass, and will continue to do so long after the idiot was gone. Was that why he was going after her? Or was it something else? Casey had no idea but for now she must keep her head straight.
"I'm going to be careful. I promise. I'm trying to avoid him, and trying not to let him get under my skin. I got a house cup to win this year. Speaking of which, does this mean you'll be at the games? I know Ciar would make it out if he had the time." she said and took another sip of her butterbeer. Yep, this stuff made her happy.

Finn was proud of his sister even though she was under so much pressure. The boy didn't like seeing her hurt and he would do anything for her if he could. Finn took a sip of his own drink and smiled a bit.
"Good, he sounds like a rude guy. I could ask Don to talk to his sister but I doubt that would do anything." he said softly and knew if his other brothers would find out they would get so mad at the girl who couldn't do anything about it.
"I am sorry you're going through this. But I am definitely coming to your games, I really am."
Casey was one of the many Stevens' children to play Quidditch with the intent to play in the future. When she first made Seeker, her brother Ciar had offered to throw her a party and even though she hated the attention, she went with it because he was the biggest attention seeker she knew. She didn't want to disappoint her family, and she knew she made her brothers proud with every win Ravenclaw house got in the past couple of years. A part of her wanted her father to be in the crowd but knew that was wishful thinking. He never went to the boys games either when they played at Hogwarts.
The mention of Don and his girlfriend had caused Casey to roll her eyes, shaking her head. She didn't want anyone else involve in her problems with Oswald Tyrell. Last thing she needed was war between the families. So she just waved her hand at the mention of it, taking a sip of her drink.

"Aww I am your favorite?" he was smiling even brighter as Finn's little sister called him her favorite brother. He loved his little sister with all his heart and he wished they spent more time together. Of course he would watch her games and maybe he could bring the sweet girl he met with him?
Seemed fun?
"I could even bring Keira, she seems sweet. I mean I do want to ask her to come because she has very pretty... tattoos."
