With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
For the first time in a long time, there was laughter from Morgan when her brother made biting noises and she had a huge grin. For a moment there she had forgotten all about her troubles, forgotten the fact that she and her girlfriend weren't talking at that moment and the fact that their parents were dead. She wanted to be normal again, to have her brother at school and their parents healthy and happy. The female missed a lot of things in their life, but knew that she couldn't get it back. Couldn't bring her parents back from the dead. She can wish, but it would never happen. What's the point of having magic when you can't bring someone back from the dead?
There was a smile on her face before it faded off a bit and she nodded. "I miss it too. But hey, we're still on with heading to the cabin for Christmas, right? I'm really looking forward to it." she said with a small smile. A cabin in the woods around Christmas time. The cabin the Reid's went every Christmas.
And while you are sitting indoors waiting for the storm to pass I will be outside dancing in the rain

Dallas knew that one of the most important things he could do was hold onto his humanity. He had met werewolves who seemed to have completely lost theirs. Were there still any good ones out there? The thought of not having a good werewolf to talk to was really starting to scare him shitless.
"Of course we are, I wouldn't miss it for the world." he assured her and smiled a bit. He eyed the sky with a small sigh. "Monkey you should head back to the castle, before they realize you're gone and won't be able to see me later this weekend." he said and kissed her forehead.
Morgan had been taught to enjoy the small things in life, enjoy being the child she once was. Spending time at their cabin was something that Morgan needed, that the Reid's needed. They all needed the closures and sure, their little brother wanted to go too. It was a family outing with the three of them, maybe even the Young's if they weren't busy. Perhaps she should try fixing things with her girlfriend cause she needed her there. Needed to hang onto her for the rest of her life. She knew Ryker was the one she wanted to spend for the rest of her life, and she was upset with herself that she might have messed that up.
The female followed her brother's gaze toward the sky, and she made a face for a moment. Yeah, she had to get back before anyone notices her gone. She had told a few friends to cover for her but that's it. She looked at her brother, giving him a nod. "Oh yeah. Don't want to get caught. I'll see you this weekend." she said and moved her hand to his, squeezing it and leaned up to kiss his cheek.
"Stay out of trouble, butthead." she said and stepped back with a grin.
