With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?

Will they stop at nothing? Babies being targeted by werewolves
The anguished cry of Scarlett Bianchi was heard around St. Mungo's Hospital today when she received the news that her one day old son, Noah Lupin, had been stolen from the babies ward whilst she had been resting.
How did this happen? We asked the Ministry of Magic and this is what a representative for the Auror department had to say:
"We have reason to believe that the person who stole Noah used foul means to do so, using an invisibility cloak or potion to conceal themselves whilst distracting the ward healers by causing another baby to need urgent medical attention. This gave them the opportunity to slip out of the hospital undetected and apparate away before authorities were alerted.
We believe that due to the ties Noah's father, Teddy Lupin, has to the werewolf community that this heinous act was committed by one of his kind. We're not releasing the suspect's name at this time, but rest assured that the Ministry is focusing all of their efforts into recovering Noah Lupin and apprehending the suspect. We will keep you updated as this investigation continues."

BREAKING NEWS!
Baby Lupin returned, Suspect still on the loose
Last week, the story of baby Noah Lupin being stolen rocked the wizarding world, sending ripples of terror through households and making parents clutch their own babies extra tight. We have received countless amounts of letters, asking for an update on the situation and this morning, we received one.
We are relieved to share the news that Noah Lupin was found late last night. After being checked over by healers, he is finally at home with his parents, safe and sound, cradled in their loving arms.
However, this case is not closed yet as the suspect has not been apprehended and according to the Ministry of Magic, they are believed to have gone on the run. The Auror department has released the following the statement:
"We are looking for any and all information people may have on the whereabouts of Verandi Farley. If you see this woman (photo attached), please do not approach her as she is believed to be volatile and dangerous. Instead, alert the Ministry via owl or patronus immediately. Thank you."

BREAKING NEWS!
Verandi Farley: snatcher of babies
After a month-long search, the Auror department has finally brought the Daily Prophet some good news this morning: Verandi Farley, the woman believed to be responsible for the attack on St. Mungo's and the theft of Noah Lupin, has been apprehended and brought in for questioning.
If proven to be guilty of the crimes above, in conjunction with her brutal attacks on several members of the Auror department when being apprehended this morning, Farley stands to spend the rest of her life in Azkaban behind bars.
Whilst there are still werewolves to be cautious and wary of, folks can rest easy today knowing that Farley is in Auror custody and cannot harm any others.

BREAKING NEWS!
Aftermath of Trossach Pack Imprisonment
It has been a month since the infamous Verandi Farley was captured, put behind bars in Azkaban and imprisoned for the rest of her life. Since then, several other members known to be high in the Trossachs ranks have been destined to the same fate, imprisoned for collusion and their roles in crimes led by Farley.
Unsurprisingly, since the arrest of several key figures in the Trossachs pack, the rate of suspected werewolf attacks has drastically reduced. Some believe that eventually the attacks will halt altogether, whilst others are firm in the belief that since there are still werewolves out there, attacks are bound to increase again in the future.
Only time will tell but for now, security measures such as the presence of Aurors in Diagon Alley, Knockturn Alley and Hogsmeade have decreased.
