With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Dear Askold,
Don't be alarmed by my letter. I'm just writing to inquire about the progress on fulfilling the delivery we agreed on for April 30th. I won't be prodding you like this every time, I just want to ensure that this first one goes as smoothly as possible. Is your fireplace connected to the Floo Network? I'm not sure that the people I'm sending have ever been inside the Hog's Head before, so they may not be able to Apparate there. I don't want them to have to be outside the inn, just in case the townspeople start talking. You know how it is with small towns.
All the pirozhki have been baked and packed! And so has the white, rye and some loafs with seeds -- please store them in a cool, dry place. I'll add instructions to the individual packages, it would be too long to list here.
I've hooked up the basement fireplace to the Floo network, so your people can transport the goods in peace. Nobody should find out.
If this is to become a regular thing, though, I'd be very happy to have a pair of helping hands, as I've been here for months and nobody has applied to work for me.

Dear Askold,
The pirozhki are those meat buns you had me eat when I was in the inn, correct? I liked those very much. I think the group will appreciate them greatly. Very filling!
I'm sure I can find a person or two willing to do some work for you. It's easy to get bored and restless when you don't have anything to fill your time, so I think I can put out the offer to everyone. I would caution, though, if I am to send someone, I'll want you to tighten security to the utmost. I can't put anyone at risk by having them spotted working in Hogsmeade. I trust you understand.
Indeed, the same ones. I'd love to hear their feedback afterwards!
I'm sure we can work something out. I'd love to have one person to tend to the customers, and another one to work only in the kitchen. It would be best if they weren't kids that, until recent, were at Hogwarts, lest someone recognizes them... Though the one in the kitchen will be out of sight. I could also house them in the basement, there is space enough.
We could also arrange contract work, come summer. If any of our colleagues is a gardener, I would love to hire them for a month or so.

Dear Askold,
I'd like to thank you for how smoothly everything went with the pickup. Everyone has been enjoying the food. It's a good sign for the group, knowing that we have some support coming from outside. That being said, recent events are making me worry about security. Nothing to do with you, simply with the world at large. So I'd like to visit you again soon, simply so I don't have to speak about it through owls. It'll be similar to last time; I presume you'll be able to recognize me, but I'll order the same item.
Best wishes, S.
