With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Kitty did worry about Clary. Not often, it had to be said; she was usually far too caught up in the excitement of living life to have much time for introspection of any kind. All the same, her friends were everything to her, and the slightest trouble in one of their lives was quite enough to throw her own entirely off kilter. It might be said to be something of a domino effect; not entirely desirable, but then there was very little that anyone could do about it. Certainly, Kitty wouldn't have expected Clary even to notice it. After all, they each had their own lives to live, and though she frequently reproached herself for not slowing down enough to consider her friends more deeply than to be excited at their presence, she would equally never have dreamed of suggesting that anyone else might also be guilty of her supposed crime.
She giggled as the question was rephrased, her cheeks flushing pink as she put her head on one side. "Noooo, no one like that," she insisted, giving Clary an extra tight squeeze as though it might lend an extra sense of conviction to her words. "Why do I need boyfriends and girlfriends when I can just cuddle you anyway?"

Clary didn't like worrying her friends but she was always a troublemaker, she never even masked that. There was never mean to be a doubt about her ability to cause havoc just with her own presence. The girl loved pranks and having fun but sometimes, she felt like people didn't really felt like fun was an option anymore. What happened to those times where you acted your age? Where you would be the person you want to be? The blue haired teenager wished more people were like her but then wouldn't it be boring with so many of her around?
Clary giggled at the squeeze and just cuddled her friend a bit tighter in return. Soon one of them might pop from the squishing. "Really no one?" she asked a bit teasinly and grinned a wide smile as she did so. "Well that is entirely true and makes total sense." though would Kitty not want to cuddle other people? Kiss them and be smoochy? "I think you'd be a cute smoochy with that perky smile." she teased and pretended to look innocent because she certainly was anything but that.

The blonde giggled, eyeing her friend with great affection in her eyes. Kitty made friends quickly and, it had to be said, indiscriminately to a great extent, meaning that there were very few people who she genuinely disliked, and she didn't think that there was a single person in the world that she could genuinely claim to hate. For all that, though, she did think that she'd made a fabulous choice when it came to Clary. Admittedly it hadn't all been choice; the two of them had been Sorted into the same House and so had ended up sharing a room for the past four years, but even so, she adored the other girl a slightly unreasonable amount. Clary was absolutely awesome and Kitty could quite happily spend every hour of every day in her company.
"Is that an invitation, Clarissa Jones?" she teased with a mischievous smile, puckering up her lips and making a few exaggerated sound effects.

Clary remembered the day these two became friends, the day she was sorted in Gryffindor along with Kitty and them sharing a room together. Sure she had been nervous about going to this place but all she thought of soon was the adventures she could go through and why would she go through them alone? Nobody liked being alone when being adventurous! The girl remembered them playing games, the first time Kitty had a bad night and Clary covered for her because she was that type of girl to get other people out of sticky situations.
Clary grinned when Kitty asked if it was an invitation and the girl puffed her chest a bit. "You can't handle something like me Catherine Dennison." she returned, using a full name? ouchies. Still there was a cheeky grin on Clary's lips because a free makeout session? Heck yes. Sign her up. The girl remembered spin the bottle, kissing all the cute people. "I mean, my lips are very popular these days..." She said, the grin remaining.

By this point, she felt as if she'd known Clary all her life, and that was by no means a bad thing because Kitty would be quite happy to know the other girl for the rest of her life, which would, with any luck, be quite considerably longer than the portion of it which she'd managed to work her way through up to now. Her roommate was just such a brilliant person, and Kitty adored her to the moon and back. Further, if possible.
"I'm still here, aren't I?" she pointed out with a grin, poking her tongue out in the other girl's direction. Not that it had required any great expenditure of effort on her part. Conversation came as naturally as breathing to Kitty, as many people had noted with varying degrees of irritation over the years, and her trouble came not so much with knowing what to say as it did with knowing when to shut up. "And are you trying to tell me you want to talk about something? Or... someone?" She giggled.
