With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
Corrine sat there waiting for her sister, who has asked to meet her at work. It was quite rare for her siblings to come over to her workplace which was why Corrine agreed to the meeting though it was during hospital hours. It was not that she would be needed at her ward. Being the Head of the ward had its perks. She wouldn't have to be present all day long attending to the in-patients. She was past that stage. Now all she ever does is sit back and research in her office, check the records of the patients and see that they are properly cared for or not. And in some special cases, she would herself look over the health of the patient, especially if they are recurring individuals to the hospital with one or the other ailment. [break][break]
Corrine however does appreciate moments like these when she could get away from her work. Not that you would see her complaining or anything. She has been on this place for a very long time to even do such a thing. Ever since her training ended she has been in the potions ward and continued on, till this day. As she was going to wait, Corrine got herself a cup of green tea which she sipped on as she began to go through a health magazine which lay on one of the tables. And suddenly she saw the feet of someone in front of her. Thinking that it was her sister, Corrine looked up with a smile. But however out was not her sister who was in front of her but someone else. So instead she asked "how can I help you with?" She might have come here for a personal meeting, but she still was a healer and work always comes first for her. And if she was needed for anything then she would go there without thinking even for a second.

take what you can give nothing back
Persie didn't know how she'd gotten to Saint Mungos. Everything was so...fuzzy. Her world was like glass on a winter night. Unclear and cold. She knew some things. She knew why she was feeling so groggy. Or at least she thought she did.
Then it was all suddenly clear. She'd been drugged. Why was she drugged, though? Oh yes. Some twat was trying to swindle her and thought that drugging her would be the way to do it. Sadly, for him, she wasn't so easily fooled.
That still left the matter of what she'd been drugged with. Was she drugged or had she been poisoned? She wasn't sure. Her first instinct was to go to the hospital, but now that she was there she realized that she might be thrown out on the street. Still...it couldn't hurt to try, now could it?
"Hey," she said, trying to sound cheerful. "Someone said you do poisons and shit. I'm just gonna cut to the chase. I've been...roofied, or something? I dunno, I didn't ask." Her legs almost gave out under her, but she managed to catch herself and steadied herself. "I'm okay," she said, despite the fact that she clearly was not.
