With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

"Yeah, but you stayed for the chat too. Guess I'm just great company," Greyson said, before his brows raised once more. Worth her time... most people wouldn't say that about him. Waste of space, maybe. "You're all adopted, right? Your parents got a thing for taking in strays?" Greyson's mouth clamped shut as Clary declared that Ollie loved Gabe, deciding against saying anything because even though he'd seen the way that stars shone in her bloody eyes when she looked at his brother, a few months wasn't long enough to fall in love with somebody. "Hope she knows she's getting into a mess of a family. Seriously, our dad's rotting in Azkaban right about now and our 'uncle'... he's a fucking git."
"Sucks about the trash can. Sounds like the 'rents that dumped you in deserved to live there instead - it's where they'd belong," Greyson spat out, a scowl twisting at his lips because scum. That action was what scum did, and that was coming from somebody who didn't want a thing to do with babies. "You've been with the Jones' since you were born then?"
"Maybe that dude you were dating should go in the trash too," Greyson said, taking the bottle and great big swig from it before he eyed Clary speculatively. "A lightning bolt? Shit, Harry Potter fan, are we? Surprised you don't want it on your bloody forehead." It would be hella amusing if she did though. He'd howl with laughter watching her ickle brothers and sisters hit the roof if he gave the girl a face tattoo.

Clary nodded and gave Greyson a smile. "Of course I stayed, you are excellent company." she assured him not really feeling like he felt so good about himself as he might project towards others. Maybe under that shell of his was just a hurt boy who didn't feel so secure about himself after all. "Hah yes, you'd think that. Mother can't have children of her own and so they adopt kids who could use a home and a loving family." she said with a small shrug. "They're good people and I can't think of having better parents. Considering my own got rid of me." she admitted.
"Well you've seen my mess of a family but you don't seem to mind hanging out with me." Clary spun around as he talked about his father and uncle. "Sorry about your father though. I have an annoying uncle too but he just makes bad dad jokes." she said and frowned. Would her father be in prison? Like his? Greyson speaking of her parents almost made her want to kiss him because he seemed so strong in his opinion that she almost thought he actually cared about her.
"Yeah. According to my mother my eyes were purple when she found me." Clary never managed to get her eyes to be purple again. "Maybe he is in the trash by now." she wouldn't know, stopped caring after a while. "Oh no not a fan! My baby blanket had bolts on it. Then my brother set it on fire but I always loved lighting bolts. You know.. like the real ones not the harry potter one."
"Surprised it's legal to have that many of you," Greyson said with a snort. Wasn't there like... twenty Jones students alone? He didn't care enough to keep count, but there was a shit ton of them. "You lucked out then I guess, getting put with them. I've heard bad, bad shit about the foster system." Things even he wouldn't dare repeating because they made him feel sick to the very stomach.
"Mate, your mess of a family? I know two of you, and that's about it." And from what he knew, it wasn't messy. Not like his family were the further thing from being put together with all the deaths and murder and general anarchy. Gruffly, he tacked on, "That's not an invitation to tell me, by the way. This isn't sharing time." If it was, he would have told her a lot more than what a lot of people in Hogwarts probably knew already.
"Let's head back to the castle. I'll put a lighting bolt you and you can tell one of your twenty siblings to come and beat me up for it. It's been a while since I got a good smack across the face," Greyson said dryly, before shrugging before he started walking to the castle without her. He did call out without looking back, however, "You coming, Jones? Haven't got all day."
