With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

HISTORY
Persephone was born into a wealthy family and grew up in a big manor on the shore. She always loved sailing, so much that her parents gave her her boat, a multihull sailboat she named after Hades, as it was her first love. She deeply enjoys her namesake and she if she's allowed to name something chances are it'll have something to do with the ancient Greek myths. It wasn't unusual for her to take Hades down to the Mediterranean with some friends over school holidays. She got good grades and had prospects for impressive careers that didn't interest her. Persephone always wanted to be a painter, but her parents had big dreams of her being something 'important', but she never wanted to work in politics like her dad, and she had even less interest in being a trophy wife like her mother.
Persephone was bitten by a werewolf during her summer holiday and made the mistake of telling her parents what had happened. They promptly disowned her, being extremely anti-werewolf. They would have taken away her trust fund as well if they could have. Luckily for her, Persephone's trust was set up by her grandmother, who had died when Persephone was still a little kid. Granted, she couldn't get anything out of it until she was legally an adult so her first year as a werewolf wasn't easy. At least she had Hades. It wasn't long before she made connections and started working as a smuggler. Now that she's old enough she doesn't need to keep working as a smuggler, but she finds that it keeps things interesting and at least it gives her something to do. It's not like she can get a 'real job'. Plus it gives her the freedom to work on her art. Considering her circumstances, she's actually quite happy.
"Thank you. I pride myself on my self-awareness. It's one of the reasons why I'm one of the Americans who think that most of us are pieces of shit. I mean...we really are. Difference is I know I'm a piece of shit....so I'm better than the others. Humble too." She was only partially joking. She knew she wasn't humble, but she was humble enough. "Besides, dying in a mangled mess of blood and gore is pretty fun too."
"It counts as cutting back when you're my father's daughter," she said. "Honestly, it's a miracle I'm not into heavier shit. I mean, my dad owns a fucking bar, and I don't even like to drink most of the time."
Colwynn shrugged as she lit her cigarette. She took a drag before saying, "I think everyone smokes for different reasons and assuming you know their reasons is impolite. Especially considering that a lot of people don't even know their reasons." She honestly didn't really know why she smoked. She supposed it was proximity to her father, who either didn't know why he smoked or simply didn't want to tell her. "I just wanted to have a bit of fun while the pitch is empty. If I'm going to make a fool of myself, there need to be no witnesses...which is why I'll have to kill you now."
