With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.

When Graham was young he was quite shy and didn’t know how to act in front of strangers. This was something he had to work on before being able to work in politics. Sometimes he still has to practice before giving a speech. These days he hold himself well in a professional environment. However he has a hard time with small talk. He’ll often end up fidgeting like scratching his neck or cheek. He didn’t have much friends left after the battle of Hogwarts in his 5th year. People didn’t like to hang out with a boy whose entire family were death eaters. So he is lacking in some social skills.

HISTORY
Graham has always lead a somewhat strange life. Growing up in the Avery family as the grandson of a man who was friends with Tom Riddle himself, the young boy was exposed to a lot of purism and dark magic since an early age. However unlike his easily manipulated big brother, Graham would always ask questions and never accept the first answer if it didn’t sound logical.
Grandfather Edmond Avery was in Azkaban, nobody had heard of him since the end of the first wizarding war. He did grow up with his mother, father, grandmother and two older siblings. Despite his grandmother and his father having been death eater as well. Not that they really spoke of it, Fraser believed the dark lord to be done for and wanted to move on. So the very first couple of years in his life were decently. He was a quiet nerd that preferred reading in the library or hanging with just one good friend rather than a group of people. But he was fine this way. Reading both books to enlarge his knowledge and fiction to explore his imagination was a great hobby. Unlike his elder brother he never had been much into sports so he was a chubby child. Despite being very different from his brother and sister, he was close to both of them. Greggory was the cool Quidditch player everyone adored. But he wasn’t ashamed to hang out with his feeble little brother and sister.
The first big red flags Graham got was during the triwizards tournament. After the Hogwarts champion Cedric Diggory died and the students had returned home. His father had never been the same again. The man was always stressed and looking over his shoulder as af he was being haunted. He also became more snarky and snarling towards his children. Greggory, the oldest of them. Seemed to be spending a lot of time with father lately, going to certain meetings.
Sometimes some of father’s friends visited the house and Graham was always instructed to stay put in is room. But the little Ravenclaw was curious and eavesdropped a few times. The more he learned the more he got an unsettling feeling in his tummy. One night, the door had opened and he was gazing right at the group of people. His father was completely pale. The boy was called in by a scary looking man. At this time he wondered if that was even a person. There had been a brief conversation and with each word said, his father grew more pale. Graham felt nervous too, having so many people look at him made him stutter and fumble over his words. When he was dismissed he ran back to his room and didn’t come down ever again.
Later that night, his father burst into his room. Graham had never seen the man so scared and furious. The man had never been one to hit his own children but that night, Graham went to bed with a throbbing red cheek.
He slowly started realizing what was going on. When he was at school again, everyone claimed the famous Harry Potter had lost his mind, thinking the dark lord had returned. However the third year Ravenclaw knew it was the truth. Not that he could tell anyone. How could he possibly share this information without people thinking he was crazy too? He could barely understand why his father was helping a very bad and scary man.
Like most Hogwarts students, the blonde Ravenclaw returned home for Christmas in december 1995. Around that time his father had come up with a plan to steal a prophecy for the dark lord but it had utterly failed.
One fateful night, the feared werewolf would come and pay a visit to claim and turn the boy that the dark lord had seen last summer. This was the first time that Graham came up close with a werewolf and it had terrified him. When he was about to fall victim to the monster’s sharp fangs, his mother jumped in between and his father pulled him back inside. Greyback killed the woman, leaving her to bleed to death before he disappeared. Before they arrived at St. Mungo’s his mother had already passed.
That winter holiday was spend grieving. His father looked defeated but went on because wavering would only anger the dark lord more. After this occurrence, Graham had even more trouble talking to people than before. He shut himself completely off for weeks. Not even answering questions in class.
In January 1996 there was a mass break out. One of the people returning was their grandfather, who the three siblings had never met before. The old man was almost as scary as the bald man without a nose. Both grandparents started living with them. Some aunts and uncles also moved in. This was the year his family decided it’d be good for him to get engaged just like his brother had gotten engaged at a young age.
Once the war really started, Graham was in his fifth year. With the school being ran by death eaters it wasn’t strange for him as a child of one of them to become a prefect. Even if he was an antisocial one. Strange enough being forced in a position where he was ‘helping’ others did work to develop himself. Against all sensible thoughts, he decided to help the muggleborns that had to hide and couldn’t come to Hogwarts. Warning them when Death Eaters would come near. This was all he could do.
Halfway through the year his sister disappeared. Just out of nowhere. All father Avery told the brothers was not to go looking for their sister.
During the actual battle of Hogwarts, he would make sure most Ravenclaw students were safe. He even went out in the big field to pull away wounded students. But he didn’t actually fight and made sure to stay away from it. He was only sixteen at this time. What was he going to do?
When the battle was over, everything seemed to disappear before his eyes. Almost everyone he knew was either dead or taken to Azkaban. Grandmother had died in the battle alone with uncle Finley. His grandfather, father and auntie Fiona were taken to Azkaban. Greggory had disappeared, hiding from the Ministry and trying to live a secret life with the woman he recently married.
Graham was basically left an orphan.
Of course plenty of people wanted to adopt him, preying on the Avery family fortune that now was on his name. But he declined all offers. Finding an orphanage a decent home until he turned seventeen and could live alone at the Avery manor. Growing up and having to take care of yourself at the age of sixteen was a hard task but he somehow fought his way through the heavy first few years. He still had the family elf Pomme at his side. She had always been his nanny and now was the closest thing to a parent he still had. This was also the point where he decided to work on himself. He wanted to become an auror so he could help people. Slowly he worked his way to become fit and practiced his dueling skills. Expanding all abilities to be able to protect himself and others.
Out of honour to his father, he decided to marry the girl they choose for him. Catherine was a good woman but there was never love between them. The start of their relationship was slow and very awkward. Especially as Graham showed no interest in getting intimate with her. His mind was always on his work.
Now and then, Graham would get small notes from his brother as a sign of life. But he could never meet the man without a disguise. Despite being on the run and living under a fake name, Greggory seemed happy with the little family Philippa and he had made for themselves.
Slowly Greggory started reaching out more to Graham. And the brothers had a little reunion which was heart warming. Graham would do his very best to help his brother and his family to get their lives together. So they could move on. GReggory might have been a death eater but he hadn't killed anyone. This could work
In 2005 Catherine and Graham got a child of themselves. A little girl with golden hair. Gemini would be the name her mother gave to her. Suddenly life felt complete. He never thought he could love something so much. Perhaps he might not have been the best husband but he was going to do his best to be a good father. Which he seemed to be. Gemini grew up to be a happy and healthy girl. And despite that there was no romance between the married couple, they were content. Graham’s career was going well and he would become head auror in 2006. Just some months after the apartment received an update on where his brother might be. Graham decided not to contribute to this case and put other aurors to work on it.
A big step in their life was Greggory officially naming Graham godfather of his children. Greggory was at Graham's place and he'd brought his twins to play with Gemini. That same day there was a huge accident caused by a fight between aurors and old death eaters they were trying to arrest. A couple that was guilty of many deaths.The man and woman that were going to be arrested were friends of Greggory and his wife. Philippa had brought her daughter and newborn along. But all three of them died in a sea of flames caused by the fight. This was never part of the plan, Graham hand't known Pip was visiting them that day. Greggory did think it was part of his plan to get them all arrested. Greg disapperated with Greyson into nowhere.
Graham was shocked over this news. He punished the aurors in this job for their reckless behavior. Gabriel, the son of Greggory. His little nephew was left. Graham welcomed the boy with open arms and raised him as one of his own. until they'd find his dad
Meanwhile the search for Greggory continued. Especially as he had a young child with him who he put in an unhealthy environment.
For a while it was quiet but in 2010 there was a new case brought in. An anonymous tip was given which helped him track down the famous Fenrir Greyback and slay the beast. It felt good bringing down the monster that killed his mother and many more innocents.
Later that year another big breakthrough happened. A muggleborn murdered. A muggle born that had married Gwyneth Avery. This was where things went fast and Greggory Avery was captured only a week later. Charged for committing crimes in the name of the dark lord and the murder of the muggleborn man. After seeing his brother’s hurt eyes in the courtroom, Graham resigned from his position and joined the wizengamot. if only Greggory hadn't killed the man, he could've been free. But Greg didn't want freedom, he wanted revenge and he got it.
A damaged boy joined the Avery mansion. Greyson Avery. By everything that happened it took awhile before the poor child could be reasoned with. A lot of St. Mungos check ups followed. He also started to get more in touch with his now reunited sister and his niece.
For some years life was good. The children would go to Hogwarts and everything was normal for once. Until 2017. The year of the werewolf break out at Hogwarts that had 3 students killed and 2 turned. After the attack his life only became focused on dealing with the werewolves.
Aurors seemed to have no more time for the normal cases. Which didn't sit well with Graham but someone had to do the work. He kept working hard even if his own family became target of the angry wolves. Early summer 2018, his wife Catherine didn't return home after working a night shift. Graham was worried and alarmed working aurors. They found her torn to pieces with a personal message to the head auror. This was the first big moment that had Graham have second thoughts of where he was heading in life. He wanted revenge.
However late september would be the final nail on the coffin. Where the auror he was working with got bitten during their mission. Graham felt extremely guilty for not being able to safe her. It was his final wake up call. Because who would take care of three growing teenagers if he was gone? Graham had been orphaned himself at late teenage years and it forced you to become an adult way too young. He didn't want that for the kids.

Healing the wounded or releasing them from their suffering. To spread good over the worlds and protect them from evil. That had been his job. Which he had done for millennia without questioning. Now the fallen angel found himself in hell on earth. Surrounded by the wicked and the crocked. Demons and evil spirits that he had tried to keep from entering this world were living in the same building.
Only a fitting fate for an angel that had sinned. Now he wasn’t more pure than the humans he once saw as helpless cattle that needed saving. Leon had always found them fascinating even if they were more fragile than god and his servants. Especially the things they created and came up with. Human-like beings with their technology and emotions were still confusing them sometimes. Then again he hadn’t been on earth since 1993. But come to think of it, except a few occasions in all his immortal life, Leonidas had never spend enough time here to properly understand their ways. It had always been work related. Well… not counting the few ‘treat yourself’ trips which were one of the shackles that had pulled him down.
Books were often a source of information for earth inhabitants. Leonidas decided to do his research in hopes on understanding this place and its people. Most of all why he was here. Compared to these people he was completely sane. He wouldn’t give up this easily. This madhouse wouldn’t get the best of him. This was probably the first of many days he would spend in this tiny library. Alone.
