With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

Rain was pouring down but that didn't stop Devrim from going out in the weather to bring his sister some stuff she forgot at his place. After some bickering, middle fingers and cussing, Devrim walked out of the pub while rolling his eyes as the word 'asshole' was thrown at his head before he managed to shut the door behind him. "Whiny bitch.." he grumbled and pulled up his hood. Devrim let out a small sigh and walked away from the bar, holding his head down so the rain couldn't get into his eyes.
Devrim just let his feet decide where he was going as his mind had wandered off. For some reason his thoughts were back in the time where he went to Africa and help the medics there. Muggles with no magic, just working hard to make women and children live better lives. It was humbling in a way and though he shouldn't have, Devrim did use magic when no one saw him and helped a lot of people with clean water and his own medical attention.
It was an experience that in a way made him stronger, at least that is what he thought. There was just something about seeing people in need and actually being able to help them with something as simple as clean water. Devrim being lost in thought didn't really look where he was going, it didn't help that his eyes were on the ground and his mind still at the old days before he came home. Devrim snapped out of it when he felt someone touch him and realized his side must have hit them, maybe his arm or even his shoulder. "Shit! Sorry!" he said with a slightly embarrassed tone to his voice.
"Are you alright? Nothing too bad?"

It was pouring down rain and if Astrid wasn't too concerned about keeping her clothes from soaking through, she would have forwent the umbrella entirely. She loved the rain because it was one of the most natural things on earth, wasn't it? It helped plants grow, it filled the oceans, it gave animals and humans alike a much needed source of water... and it was just calming to listen to the pitter pattering of rain hitting the ground.
A small smile on her face, Astrid reached out with her fingertips to let the wetness soak over them, before suddenly a solid brick wall collided with her side, causing her feet to lose grip on the pavement and her arm to shoot out to grab the person instinctively. Thank Merlin, or else she would have fallen straight on her backside. "Hi," she breathed, before shaking her head with a tinkering laugh. "I'm fine. It's all good... well, except for the fact the rain's going to stop soon. That'll be a shame."
Astrid just... knew. It was a gut feeling and in the next few minutes, the rain would unfortunately subside, leaving dark clouds in it's wake. Tilting her head back, Astrid looked up at the guy who'd saved her from falling down before pausing, then smiling even wider. "Hey, man. I know you. St. Mungo's, right?"
