With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

It was late and Lizzy had been worried for hours when Devon didn't show up. It wasn't like her to show up at home, late as she was and it was even more worrying when she did show up being carried by her own sister because there had been a fight and much crap she didn't know about going on. Lizzy wasn't really one to dive right into people's dramatic lives but she was caught in Devon's and though her first instinct always told her to run she surely wasn't running this time around.
Lizzy told Rae to go home and get some rest while she placed a cold, wet towel on Devon's forehead while her girlfriend was lying down on the couch. Lizzy didn't really know well how to deal with something like this, she had never met someone who was in quite the past relationship that Devon was in but she knew she had to support her somehow otherwise what kind of monster would she be? Leaving the woman she loved to the hands of her abuser was not something Lizzy would do.
Lizzy had grabbed a container of ice cream and two spoons before sitting back down, putting Devon's head in her lap and handed her a spoon. "What happened down there?" she asked and offered ice cream from the container after she got herself a spoonful of it.

xX bleed your own blood Xx
Paul had found her - and the truth about the abuse she had endured over the course of their marriage was revealed to both Shay and Rae. Devon had never told her family the truth as to why she had left Paul, just told them that they wanted different things. But now it was all out in the open; the truth and she knew damn well she couldn’t hide it all from her family much longer. The moment she had seen her ex-husband walk through the door of the inn, everything had changed. He had attacked her, throwing a bottle at her and claimed she had ruined his career. It had taken a while for Devon to come out of her hiding spot and was brought home by her sister.
Devon had been lying on the couch, not moving or saying a word because she was shut down emotionally. The man had said things, had threatened her once again but of course, her loyal employee stepped in and knocked him on his ass.
Devon had silently taken the spoon from her girlfriend, moving her arm up to get a scoop for herself as she kept her head in her lap. She put the spoon in her mouth as she shook her head. ”Paul found me…” she said softly, keeping her voice stable. ”And apparently I ruined his life. He had lost his job because of people spreading crap about why our marriage ended. Accused me of turning people against him. Again.”

When Lizzy started dating Devon, she knew about the abusive ex husband. She was well aware of his existence in this miserable world. If it were up to her, he was not going to see another ray of light ever again but she promised Devon she wasn't going to go after him, she wasn't going to risk it all for a man who already tried to destroy a life. The brunette was just sitting on the couch, her head leaned back a little to enjoy the supportive pillow in her neck and licked the spoon.
"Men, always need to find someone to blame for their own pathetic issues." she replied with an eyeroll. "You didn't ruin anything, if anyone did it was him. He's the one who didn't appreciate you and hurt you for no reason at all." She said, leaning in to stroke her cheek with her fingertips. She appreciated Devon for who she is, damaged goods and all. They both were and they both were there for each other.
