With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
It's been a few days and I've realized just how pleasant our chance meeting truly was. After the recent events at St.Mungos I was, and still under undue stress, mostly caused by the general public's attempts to meddle in our internal affairs, etc. Seeing you was the break I didn't know I needed.
I wanted to know if there was any chance you'd like to meet again. Perhaps this time in a more private space? Talk over a glass of wine and some dinner? My treat, I insist.
You see, our brief conversation about partners, or lack of them, I felt that there was a mutual sentiment. Tell me, would you really consider me an option for a casual partner?

Dear @ezekielensor,
Receiving a letter from somebody outside of the Ministry was a pleasant surprise, and it was even more wonderful to see who this letter was from. I've been thinking about our little spontaneous meeting too.
I would love to meet you for a glass of wine and some dinner, I'd just have to check my schedule to see when I'm free. I imagine you're quite busy with your work at St. Mungos too, so it's just a matter of finding a time that suits us both.
That's very straight-forward of you, but I appreciate somebody who doesn't mince words and has the confidence to ask questions most would find too confronting. The answer is perhaps - we'd just have to see how dinner and drinks goes.
Kindest regards, Hope

Currently, it looks like I have this Saturday afternoon off, unless something suddenly changes. How does that sound to you?
I must inquire then -- what kind of cuisine do you prefer? I am partial to Far Eastern cuisine, non-vegetarian at that, but I won't complain if you'd prefer something vegetarian or even vegan. Though it is well known that the best wines are from France... Would you mind going to a muggle restaurant?

Dear @ezekielensor ,
I've checked my diary and Saturday afternoon sounds perfect. I don't anticipate anything changing on my end, but if it does then I'll be sure to let you know.
I'm a woman of simple tastes and quite enjoy some good pub grub but I suppose that's not exactly wine food, is it? I'll put my faith to choose something delicious in your hands. I'm open to a muggle restaurant.
Kindest regards, Hope

Dear @ezekielensor ,
My apologies, it turns out that I spoke too soon and something unavoidable has come up at work. I'd like to reschedule, however I expect I will be busy for the next few weeks and I cannot give you a definite time.
If you're still interested, I can send you an owl when things calm down and I'm free next?
Kindest regards, Hope

Of course, duty comes first. I shall await your next letter and you know where to find me on a day to day basis -- though I hope you never have the misfortune of becoming my patient.
