With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?

history
Born and raised in the Highlands of Scotland, Cho was an only child and spent much time with her parents, leading her to form an exceptionally close bond with them. She learned to cook and bake with her mother, while her father taught her gardening and took her to Quidditch matches, though she reduced him to despair at the age of six by announcing that she supported the Tornadoes as opposed to her father's team, the Kestrels. At the age of eleven, she began her education at Hogwarts, where she was Sorted into Ravenclaw House and rapidly made a lot of friends, being both pretty and pleasant. Charms and Transfiguration were definitely her best subjects, though she tried hard to impress her unpleasant Potions Master, and she finished the year with high marks across the board.
In her second year, she delighted her parents by being selected as Seeker for the Ravenclaw House team, and, although she'd always been convinced that she was better suited as a Chaser, she continued in this role throughout her time at Hogwarts. It was through playing as Seeker that she first came into contact with Harry Potter, who became a Seeker for his own team in the same year despite being a year younger than her. During a Quidditch match in her fourth year, she nearly fell off her broom at the sight of what she thought was a Dementor on the pitch, which she still maintains is the only reason that she didn't catch the Snitch on that occasion, being beaten to it by Harry.
She went with her father to the Quidditch World Cup the following summer, where she witnessed a display of Muggle-baiting that upset her greatly, though not so much as it did her father. They left early. The following school year was one of great excitement. Though the coming of the Triwizard Tournament meant that she could no longer play Quidditch, Cho was rather happier about it when she was invited to the Yule Ball by Cedric Diggory, with whom she rapidly established a relationship that made his death at the end of the year all the more devastating to her. It was an event which continued to affect her for many years afterwards, bringing down her class marks in the following years and even contributing to her highly unsuccessful relationship with Harry Potter. However, she also took it as a sign, and did her best to fight against injustice for the rest of her life, just as she was sure that Cedric would have done.
A succession of unsuccessful relationships continued through her sixth and seventh years, and even after she graduated, leaving her with four children by three different fathers. What her relationships lacked in dedication, however, was recompensed by her career, as she went from strength to strength at St. Mungo's, leaving her in charge of her own ward by the time that she was thirty.
Arms folded, Cho walked around the bed slowly, alternating between glancing at the patient occupying it and the trainee Healer beside her, whose nervous smile couldn't quite conceal his utter terror at having his work so critically examined. She had to admit, albeit grudgingly, that she was impressed; his dressings weren't the total shambles which she had come to expect from beginners, and he had even managed to fill in the patient history with less than the usual incompetence, but even so, this one wouldn't be getting any kind of awards any time soon. She didn't think that she was unreasonable; she just had high expectations, and should that not always be the case where the health and even the lives of their patients was in her hands? It might be his mistake, but at the end of the day, it would probably turn out to be her fault. Most things did, as Cho had learned through long experience.
"Not bad, Jones," she conceded at last. "Fairly reasonable dressing. Shame you forgot about the other arm."
