With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
To be honest, there were very few things she shared with people-- her family history, her heart, her friendship, and any sort of talent she harbored. One particular talent was never one she shared... Hell, she wasnt sure she'd ever even told Greyson about it. Sneakingboff the the Room of requirement, the girl found some sheet music, putting it on the piano as she began to play.
"You're broken down and tired of living life on a merry go round-- and you can't find the fighter, but I see it in you so we gonna walk it out and move mountains... We gonna walk it out and move mountains, " She sang out as she skillfully played the keys. Piano was one of the few things her mother insisted on feeling it was a womanly instrument... As well as the harp and fucking violin. Luckily she was able to get out of too much harp playing.
She was actually attempting to work through things better since her winter break-- She and Felix broke things off (or rather she had purposefully shattered his heart to keep him away from her shit life), She'd seen her father literally kill someone in front of her that she'd always called her uncle... For fuck sakes, was she even actually dealing well? Probably not, but she didn't want to keeping wallowing in pity. She was Rosalia fucking Capone. She would get through whatever the hell she needed to work through. Period.
As she sang, she suddenly heard something drop causing her to hit the wrong keys as she felt like a kid who just got caught snogging by a professor (frankly, she would've handled something like that far more gracefully).
Levi was walking around the school that day. His friends and him had just gotten back from playing Quidditch (not a game) and now it was time to go off on his own for a little while. As he was walking past the room of requirement the door appeared. He wasn't going to go in but something in his head told him to go inside so he did. He opened the door and immediately heard singing. He quietly walked inside and quietly shut the door behind him. He walked closer and saw a girl playing and singing. She was really good, her voice was angelic and it was nice to hear. When she was done playing he shrugged and clapped.

While Rosalia was a known glutton for attention (so long as it was the right kind of attention), she also had a clear presence when she was just trying to be alone-- something that somehow everybody always seemed to barge in on in the worst possible ways. For example, now she would've preferred to have heard someone coming and not had them scare the living hell out of her. An irritated sound came from the girl as she closed up the piano. "Of course when I require the room, the room always needs to be used.." She girl grumbled under her breathe followed by a few more complaints in Italianas she picked up her things.
"Yes, brava, " She remarked rather sarcastically, assuming the boy was being just as much of an ass as she was. She picked up her bag, attempting to walk off. She was certainly trying to avoid jumping at immediately being a bitch to people, but her instincts of fight-or-flight were always the first to kick in with new people. She always had to assume the worst before she accepted most people really weren't as shitty as the people she'd grown up with.
Levi was kind of confused on her comment, he watched as she gathered up her stuff and attempted to walk out of the room. He purposely walked so he was in front of her so she couldn't leave until he figured out what was up with her. "I didn't mean to be rude or to interrupt you, I was walking by and heard the music and thought I'd listen up close. I can leave if you want me to, I don't want you to think that I am trying to interrupt you on purpose. You're good though, your voice is really pretty and I just wanted to let you know that before I left and wondered who was the owner of that gorgeous voice. I am Levi, not like it matters but I hope you have a good day" he moved to the side when he was done offering his explanation to himself.

Rosalia stopped abruptly as the boy purposely stepped in front of her. Her face went red with irritation for a moment as she looked up to him, her scrappy side kicking into high gear, " Excuse you?" She remarked at him, her eyes threatening him as he blocked her path. At least, until he gave her his rather long winded explanation and compliments.
Okay, so as much as she knew about manipulation, she still couldn't deny that she was easily swayed when people fed her with compliments. She wasn't sure she wanted to just trust the boy, but the least she could do was let him stroke her feathers, " Beautiful, you say?" She half chuckled her eyes rolling a bit. She was certain it was a bit over-the-top, but she endulged.
"Levi, you say?" She smiled a bit, setting down her bag as she sat back down on the seat by the piano, leaning back on it as she crossed her legs over, scanning him over. He was good looking, wasn't he? "I've seen you about, though I never took you for someone with such... Fire. At least enough to stand in front of me, " She was a young woman with a particularly known temperament, so typically people just let her by when she was ready to leave.
Levi didn't know if he offended her by blocking her, but the way she said 'excuse me?' Made him realize that she was not a happy camper when it came to standing in the way of a young woman. The moment he made his rather long explanation, he knew he seemed like a fool but he said what he wanted to say and that was it for him. "Yes, your voice is beautiful and yes my name is Levi, Levi Ross" he assured her that was his name. When she said by the piano, he watched as she looked at him with those eyes of hers. "I have fire when I want to have fire, other then that I am a polite guy. If I wasn't my twin would have my damn head on a spike somewhere" Levi responded. "Who are you? You know my name and I don't know yours" Levi asked curiously.

"To be quite honest, I'm surprise you don't know my name already, " She retorted, They were fairly close in age-- and with her being a prefect and having well... A bit of a bad girl rep that wasn't usually the greatest predecessor to a conversation it all seemed strange, but to be honest, she was really kind of enjoying the momentary anonymity. " Do I need to have a name?" She smirked a bit, messing with the boy in her smooth Italian accent. "Oh, what a... Sweet, little teddy bear, " She teased the boy a bit as she stood, saunting over to where the rather tall and broad, shouldered boy stood.
