With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

take what you can give nothing back
Persie didn't usually stay docked for long. She honestly would have rather been on her boat, but Hades was having a bath. Barnacles needed to be peeled off, paint needed to be reapplied in some places. Nothing interesting, just routine upkeep. In either case, she didn't like being around for that. The men who were cleaning her boat had been cleaning once every three months since she first got her boat. She wholly trusted them, and tipped them well enough that they kept her business out of other peoples'. It was easier to just not be around for that.
Besides, it would give her an opportunity to explore London. It had been a while since she'd been home. She didn't know why she gravitated back to her old house. She knew her parents wouldn't be there. Even if they would, she didn't want anything to do with them. They'd all said some vicious things to each other when Persephone last saw Perseus and Moira. Not that Persephone would take any of it back.
Still, knowing that they were gone gave her an opportunity. Getting into the garden proved to be easier than she'd expected. There was some paint in the tool shed in the back corner of the garden. She almost ran into one of the house elves, but she managed to evade them. With a can of black paint in hand she sneaked right back outside. In big, block letters she painted the words 'Who's Afraid Of The Big Bad Wolf?' and painted a wolf's silhouette after the question mark. Her parents, who were both adamantly and vehemently anti-werewolf would have been furious, which just further delighted the young lady. The graffiti would stay up at least until her parents came back. She knew the house elves never went beyond the garden walls unless they were told to. She sneaked back into the garden to return her tools of mass destruction, cleaned off her hands, and returned to the garden wall to admire her handy work. She was content to stay there and watch the paint dry, but she heard footsteps approaching. This didn't concern her, however. It was still light out, and Persie didn't get scared easily. Besides, this just meant more people would see her little creation. Maybe she should have kept the paint. There were more buildings with empty walls that could use filling. The thought of that made her smirk. If only her parents could see her now. A smuggler and a vandal. They would have been so proud.
